Very nice public swimming pool in center of town

This is a smaller version of Wild Water West, minus the wave pool (and adult drinks, but this is their city pool so I get it). The admittance fee is low, they even have a reduced price for non swimmers. The concession cost are not terrible or even really considered over priced in my book (not like going to a movie- cheap to get in, a life savings to snack). The slides are great, love the lazy river, and the kids all love the variety of things to play on.

Its an awesome water park for a fair price. No where near as expensive as Wild Water West outside of Sioux Falls, but still plenty of fun activities to do there.

Great addition to Huron!I wouldnt say that this is a destination waterpark but if you are in town and want a fun place to entertain your kids, then be sure to come here.My kids love the water slides and the high dive pool. We like to hang out in the lazy river. Our niece and nephew love the wading pool.Everything is kept clean and the lifeguards do a good job of keeping everyone safe. There are 15 minute breaks every couple of hours, but it gives a chance to reapply sunscreen and get a snack from concessions.

Best water park that we have been to in South Dakota. Slides r fun, lazy river perfect on a really hot day. Will b back for just the waterpark

Love the lazy river really friendly staff very attentive to need if their guests!! The lazy river is very enjoyable, the water slides are a great time, the Olympic sized pool with an inflatable for the kids to burn all that summer energy on! They have like little cabanas to multiple purposes. I recommend this place for price and passes.

Great family fun! Prices are very reasonable considering all of the features of this waterpark. It is so nice having this 45 minutes away, compared to 90 minutes If we were to go to Sioux falls. The two waterslides were so much fun! There is a lazy river of you want to take things easy. A nice feature is having free lockers for your cell phone or wallet (just have to bring your own lock or buy one there for $4. ) we will buy a season pass next year for sure.

I learned how to dive at splash Central that I Im not afraid to do it on the low dive

It is a lot of fun, but the lifeguards just standby as boys try to drown the girls and let it happen. Theyve got some terrible logic. Last year they allowed my daughter go down the slide at least 10 times and then wouldnt let her anymore because she wasnt tall enough. She was very heartbroken. Food isnt terribly priced. Would be an awesome place to go if they had better quality control with the lifeguards.

Theres something for everyone of all ages here.

Enjoy the summer by cooling off at Splash Central. My boys go every day for hours, lots to do and fun to be had. Go down the Master Blaster or the body slide. Relax in the Lazy River. Let the little ones play in the Kiddie Pool. Or race each other on the Whipit!

This is a spy phone. Just because I drove by splash central they are asking me to rate my visit there. I would give it a big fat 0 lol. My rating on the stars means absolutely zip. I cannot post this without doing it.

Affordable place to take kids to have fun

They really did a nice job inn the design of the park. Its always clean and I really LOVE the slide its great.

Kids had fun. Bring your own towel because they do not provide any.

Its a very nice facility but the bottom of the pool was quite dirty. I would go again its great for families of small children up to teens.

Its the only place in town to do anything summer like.

Splash central is an extremely fun place to beat the heat, they have two waterslides, a lazy river, an Olympic sized swimming pool, a diving board, and a shallow pool area for the little ones, and some other cool things. The concession stand is somewhat expensive. I recommend going on Thursdays after 3pm when admission is only $3 a person as opposed to the other days of the week when its $10 per person

Not bad for a small town

First time at this venue. Grew up in Huron and brought my kids back for a visit. Not so great experience...a definate reflection of how the city has changed.Life guard tells my kid he cant do some thing, another kids does it and nothing is said. In fact, laughed about it. We were watching my son dive off the diving board, other kids were running behind us and acting like they were going to dive over us.Once, the boy hit me in the back and was laughing about it and another girl was being sarcastic and asking if we were mad. Same lifeguard watched and laughed.We got up to leave and 2 of the kids yelled toward us, this is our house. This is our house. My first mind, was to snatched him up and tell him I probably grew up with his parents. I just told my kids to move to the lazy river.Waterpark was pretty cool overall. Fun for all ages. The one lifeguard and lack of confronting disrespectful behavior of certain swimmers was very disappointing. I was embarrassed my kids felt unwelcome in my hometown.
