Have enjoyed playing this course since we moved to the area years ago. Lay-out is fun, well-maintained, and the staff always makes you feel like they’re glad to have your business. Reminds me of the course my Dad and his buddies in NC played during their retirement years. Highly recommend it.

This has been one of the absolute worst courses I have played. The grounds are in horrible shape. Tree branches all over the fairways, the greens are covered in fertilizer, the tee boxes are practically made of rock and to top it all off the ground keepers decide to do sprinkler maintenance in the middle of the day. They park themselves in the middle of the fairways while foursomes are teeing off.I am voting with my wallet and will never be back.

They are not fast, pre-order especially during lunch unless you have time to spare. They are as tasty as you can find, and extremely inexpensive.Perfect example of choose two out of three: Fast, Great, Cheap.Cant wait to get some more after this stupid virus is over.(They also have some of the greatest local brews on tap for less than you could find it at a local tap house.)Looking at you Goat Island Blood Orange Berlinner-Weisse.

Course is always crowded but the pace of play is awesome. Played a 3 some today in about 3.75 hours. They have fixed the greens and putting is more ideal

Awsome place to play golf. A very forgiving golf course its wide open like the runways next to it were the planes land.

I mean for $40 a round with cart, great course to practice your swing and have a good time with people. I play regularly here and it makes for a good round of golf right next to the airport.

I would say one of the best kept secrets around the airport as a close place to eat. Great fries/wings/sandwiches - basic american, no frills fare. I like that they keep expanding their menu and now have salads, omelettes and flapjacks! I cant speak to playing on the green, but the new ownership has certainly improved the food fare.

I typically order lunch from here as I work relatively close enough. In the past I have not had issues with my order or with ordering. My assumption is I may have called during lunch hour on this particular day. When I called and placed my order I was under the impression the order was understood, however, when I received my wings they had no buffalo sauce on them, whatsoever. In addition, I was asking if they needed a name for my order but was hung up on before I could do so. Needless to say, I was not pleased with my lunch

Showed up for my first time at 1pm on a Sunday and was refused service because they said they wanted to close early instead of 7pm. Refused to serve 5 people. Will never return

Greens are full of poa annua...used to be the best greens around all year long. Traps are still dirt and now they have the super-size holes for whatever reason. Last time I play there...

BEWARE GROUPON USERS!!! Read the groupon very, very carefully - the new one does NOT include cart fees. Thought I was paying 28 dollars for two people to ride 18 holes, but with the extra cart fees it ended up being 60 dollars for two people to ride 18.The course is not in good shape and even if the groupon price included a cart, I wouldnt choose to go back. Just go play a different course.....any other course, actually.Edit 7/28/2015 in response to the owner on what improvements could be made. Two or three of your greens were in good shape, the others were pretty bad with goosegrass, crabgrass, or some other type of grass growing in. The bunkers seem like they are just red clay, and rock hard at that. No where on the groupon page nor on your company website does it state that there are actually two holes on every single green, with the secondary hole being 16 inches across. Not a huge deal, but definitely odd and the larger cups did actually get in the way on a couple of holes.I appreciate your response on here, but I simply think the golf course isnt very good.

I play here with my bi-weekly work league that covers 4 local courses. Sunset Landing, Point Mallard, Cedar Ridge, and Valley Landing. Of all the 4 courses, Sunset is the easiest...but good luck trying to play. This course is PACKED at all times and after 3:00 they do not take tee times as it is first come-first serve. This really stinks for those of us in the league who try to play after work. Just last week we got turned down because it was too busy ...thats right, they wouldnt let us play. I only have two major complaints -- and I am not one who typically complains about anything -- but the customer service aspect is a whopping ZERO out of TEN. The folks that run this course are by far some of the rudest, unwelcoming folks I have ever come across...especially at a golf course. Complaint number 2 would be the super-poor excuse for bunkers. The bunkers are red clay mixed with rock and are NEVER raked. In fact, in our league for the 2014 season, will have an addendum that if you hit in the bunkers at Sunset -- its a FREE DROP. So there you go, if you dont mind the small drive and have an opportunity to play Hampton Cove, Huntsville Muni, or Canebreak -- go there first. Sorry for the rant Sunset Landing but the truth is the truth. With that being said, here is an eye-opener for you and maybe...just maybe you will make a good business decision and heed the advice of your customers. :)

Customer service not foremost in the Pro Shop. Sometimes they act like their doing you a favor by waiting on you. Greens and bunkers are in terrible condition!
