The theaters are spacious and the refreshments are good. However, I had to buy tickets AGAIN because I had purchased them in advance and one employee didnt think they were legit. Maybe hes new and not used to the policy?? Ive done this before without issue.

Theatre was recently renovated. Leather reclining reserved seats are the best! Very comfortable, private and luxurious. Cinema sounds and quality of the picture are wonderful. Their popcorn was also good, but nothing so special.Only thing is they need to clean more often, it is possible to see popcorns and trash on the floor.But overall we like the theater itself with reserved recliners. Parking lot is small so if the post office is closed, you can always park their parking lot and walk there.

Get there early as parking is tough as the lot attached to the theater is small. There is a free lot across from the post office (although sometimes it is hard to find a spot in there too). The theater does assigned seating. The seats are really comfortable, oversized recliner seats. Bathrooms are on the ground level so go before the show (especially if your movie is playing on the upper level).I went for the discounted Tuesday showing. I signed up for AMC Stubs (there is a basic free membership) and was able to get the $6 tickets. If you buy at the theater, you avoid a $1.89 convenience fee per ticket that they charge for buying online . At the theater, there is also a special line for AMC Stub members.

Love Shore 8, Typically, you can watch heavily anticipated new releases in the early showing. The recliner seating is awesome, of course. They have made significant improvements over the years. Its definitely a better neighborhood theater now.

This amc has not many screens, and not many seats, because they offer reclined seats. i am a big fan of reclined seats, but i am not satisfied all reclined seats theater. most of the reason is the screen setting position. this amc set their screen in the middle and the screen is big enough, another thing i have to emphasize, the screen is curve. so if you sitting on the side it wont be a problem. i recommend the rear rows if you can pick.because this theater locates at long island, most of people will drive there, but they only have some park spaces. there is a large parking lot around the post office, which it is one min driving far from the theater. And you can park on the post office parking lot on weekend.

Generally clean and has any broad release movie youd want to see. We enjoy the reclining reserveable seats. The food is pricey, but thats the case almost anywhere these days.

Popping popcorn all day long delivers fresh all the time. It is such a treat for me to be in a movie theater like this that is clean, roomy and I have a bag of fresh popcorn on my lap. Love that.

Parking was a bit difficult. Wish I knew how limited the parking spaces were, however the theater was cute not overcrowded like Id expect it to be in such a busy area. People were very nice fast and efficient in getting our snacks and directing us to the movie. Only issue is the only bathroom is downstairs

It took a couple tries, but I was finally able to see a movie. The first time a projector system broke, so the movie was cancelled. Then came the challenge of finding time to go back. I ended up seeing a movie in the middle of the day, and I had the theater to myself.

I remember when this theater had two screens and plastic seats. Its come a long, long, long way since then. Took in a daytime movie for less than $12. Got to sit in a nearly empty theater in recliner type seats with my head back and my feet up. Very comfortable! Very clean! My only complaint is that the concessions are ridiculously priced. A medium popcorn and medium beverage was $15. That is simply crazy.

I went to see a movie a couple a days ago and the parking lot only has 20 spots in it so I had to park at stop and shop. Then I went to the girl that ripped the tickets and she was on her phone and gave me attitude and told me to go somewhere else and they where much nicer over there it looked relatively clean but the girls bathroom looked like a tornado went through it then I asked the lady to ask someone to clean it but by then end of my movie it still looked bad.

Another restaurant I visited while I was in New York it was very pleasant of course the highlight of the lunch was the cheesecake

Movie theater feels a little dated, and is kind of small. When I went the theater was a little dirty and dingy. The chairs are the older style that do not allow the center divider to be lifted so you can be closer to the person youre next 2 each chair is completely segregated. For any other theater I may have given four stars. But for an AMC there is a little higher expectation of quality.

This is a great theater. They have reclining chairs and the kids that work there are really great. It’s a great date - especially since it’s in the heart of Huntington.

Favorite AMC. I enjoy not having to many people around and this location allows for that. Always fast service.

Its a great place to take your family to see a movie. And its convenient for me because its in my neighborhood. Its partly why I purchased the AMC premiere A-list promotion. I see 3 movies a week for 23.99 a month at this theater.

The theater has very comfortable reclining seats. It is a nice theater but they do not keep it clean. Popcorn and other garbage in the entrance area and lots of garbage outside the doors. A little more attention to cleanliness would make a big difference.

Clean, nice people working there. Only draw back is parking. Other than that really nice theater.

The popcorn at this location is always on point, but some of the auditoriums have poor sound. The music in the movie will be too loud, yet you can barely make out the words that the actors are saying when there is no music in the scene. Someone needs to fix the audio ASAP. It’s unacceptable for a movie theatre to have poor sound quality.

Theater is always clean and the staff is polite. The seating allows for comfort as of you were at home. Never a bad seat in the house and always very enjoyable.

Reclining large seats and usually never crowded. The ability to select your seat through the Fandango app was a nice feature. Good local theater showing current movies in 3D and IMAX. Fairly typical service time for food and drinks....

Theater is beautiful and spotless, employees plentiful and pleasant. Seats comfy and not one out of order that i could see(love the recliners but in my experience they are often broken), they seem to be keeping things up in Huntington nicely. Parking is rough, only complaint.

My son & I enjoy the roomy recliners & the serve urself Coke brand drink fountains w multiple flavors ....even Icees!! Great locale at a corner of Huntington so that on Friday nights, a lady can loiter on the 2nd floor at the giant window checking out the bustling restaurant & bar hoppers skipping amoung the twinkly lights. Not just another movie house, w that huge window.....See a show & then wander out for a stroll of Huntington.

Not nearly as bad as some of the reviews would have you think. Attentive customer service staff that knew the EXACT ingredients of the popcorn (have never seen this EVER). Chairs are comfy and it wasnt overly crowded. Cant wait to go back again.

Great since the renovation.update: they like to close the soda machines down earlier, so dont buy a large after 7 and expect a refill.my advice is if they want to do this they should discount the drinks ahead of time or give notice.

This is the kind of theater where you get to pick your seat, and each seat is able to recline very far. The screen in theater 2 is big. You can buy your tickets online in advance. It was a comfortable experience!

They recently renovated it. Used to be a dump but now its clean and new. They installed motorized recliners instead of seats, which is awesome, and they also put in those Coca Cola Freedom machines so theres way more options for soda now. Overall experience was great

This place is great! It can get crowded, so I suggest buying tickets in advance. The theater is a little more on the pricey side, but no different from any AMC theater. There is no alcohol or sit down meal here, like at other AMC theaters, but the popcorn is good! Like any theater, snacks are expensive. The theaters themselves are clean. The seats are roomy and recline. The sound system works great, maybe a bit loud for my taste! If you are a Stubs member, it is totally woth it!

Theater was clean but they didnt turn the lights down during the movie. That was quite a distraction. My seat didnt recline like it was supposed to, but other than that, good time was had.

Go in get a jumbo bucket of popcorn and a large soda, then ask for a ticket to the latest Pixar movie. Leave the movie when you start crying. And go to the food court and ask for a box of mike and Ike’s then go back to the movie. Repeat until the movie is over.

Love the remodeled theater!!Love the new recliner seats! Finally back to seeing movies in Huntington again. AMC stubs program worth it as it saves u money if u see a few movies a year. Only not so great thing is that the popcorn here sucks compared to other places. So if that’s important to u be warned.

Overall it is a comfortable small theater in downtown Huntington. I took a star off for two reasons; the escalator treads, side panels and landings are filfthy. We have found when we reserve seats on line the more desirable seats seem to be unavailable however may be empty at show time???

My favorite theater. . . Has a small town feel and is everything all those mass multiplexes are not. Some of the same employees have been there long term, which adds to the homey-ness of the place.My only wish (and it seems unlikely to happen) is for a scheduling change that would allow you to begin movies between 8-9 pm. We always find the movies are too early or too late to accommodate a nice dinner out.

We went to this theater on Saturday, Jan 13 at noon, and it was filthy! Popcorn everywhere, including on the escalator. The seats are very comfy though.I spoke to the manager, and he said it was because 3 movies let out at the same time. (?) We went to the Hicksville theater the next day at 3:30, which is twice as big, and it was spotless.Please clean up your act!

Theaters are small with limited showtimes. Seats are comfy.

Love our huntington movie theater

A movie theater with only 20 parking spots, and thats just the beginning. I went there for the first time to see the Beauty and the Beast premiere and our show was at 7pm. By the time it let out at 9:30, the concession stand was already closed and the theater seemed dead. On a PREMIERE night. Most other theaters have shows going on until midnight. Unreal.You can choose your seats, but theyre quite uncomfortable. Theyre small recliners without any tray tables. Plus, it isnt stadium seating so if even one person stands up your view is blocked.I didnt get food, but the drinks are from Coca Cola Freestyle machines, which I personally think taste terrible. Plus, there are only 2 machines, and no machines for the concession stand attendants to use, so the lines are quite long.The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the staff was pleasant.Basically, Id never go back and if I were you, Id avoid this place. It isnt worth your money.

Not sure if its a normal practice to start the movie 10 minutes after showtime due to a special early release of Aquaman and Spiderman, but this theater does show many trailers besides that good place

The seats recline and they have high tech soda machine!! I fell asleep and the staff was like a free alarm clock when I woke up. Fantastic service. I never knew that the movies also can be a hotel and an alarm clock!!! There was unlimited soda and I had so many sugars that it kept me up all night!!!

I love their seats! It just makes it sooo much more comfortable and it feels like your just in a cozy bed watching a movie and you dont realize your in a movie seat or movie theater because it feels like a cozy bed! the movie quality is also so good! I also like the snacks/food/ sweats like sour patch or skittles and POPCORN and all types of drinks! and if your done with your popcorn or drink you can get refill for free! also if your in a 3d movie and you wear the glasses its like your in the movie! If you havent been to amc shore 8 movie theater you should definitely go to the amc shore 8 movie theater! also the employes were also really nice and help out so much! hope you feel the same way too! and what ever movie you watch I hope you have a great time there! Its also a great price!

Unlike some of the local guides that are around here in this area I find this theater to be one of enjoyment and just like any other AMC Theatres when theres time to go in the afternoon as well as when the kids are on vacation you will find any theater crowded regardless even with this so-called new Renovations it takes time but overall a place to come see a good movie well depending on what movie you really want to see

It was a quality movie experience. Its not an average movie theater seating instead of crappy stadium seating they have reserved recliners which almost makes every seat a good seat. Ive sat in the back in the front and one the sides you really cant go wrong.
