The staff were so courteous and helpful (we were at the Retroarcade) and really went out of their way to make our birthday party fantastic. Our son loved the games and bounce house! Several adults said theyd like to come back to play the old school games and have some drinks - alcohol served at the concession stand. Definitely worth the money!

My grandson had his 8th birthday party here and this is by far my favorite place for kid and grown up kid fun! The place is unique but so very cool. The staff is TERRIFIC, the place is clean, everyone there is friendly. Such a fun spot. I know I will be going back!!!

What a unique place! My boyfriend and I went to play some arcade games and there was a great selection and we had a really good time. Will definitely be back!

We love this place. My son has traded many games as well as consoles and peripherals for very fair prices. Similarly we have bought a fair number of games and electronics from this store. They have a VIP program for a reasonable price that gives you a discount on many but not all items. The Retro Mania Arcade is pretty cool too!

I have been going to vacs and videos since they were just a small store that mainly sold VHS tapes, they were always helpful and if they didnt have what you wanted, they would hunt it down for you. I highly recommend vacs and videos.

Excellent experience every time we visit. Arcade has a variety of fun, nostalgic retro games and good pizza, snacks, and drinks, and the staff is very nice. My group had such a great time last year I was asked to book the site for again this years meetup.

I go there for their DDR machine, its in pretty decent shape, considering how bad it used to be. They obviously care about it, they care about the dance gaming scene in Dayton and know there is a starving market for it. The rest of the store is good, too. If you ever need a vacuum fixed, or a part for one, I personally have never been let down in that department. If you are a retro gamer, this is your heaven on Earth (in Dayton, at least).

This place is closing unfortunately but go to clarkade on chambersburg rd in Huber next to library. Much better prices on used video games an movies. They also have arcade with old video games that remind me of when I was younger. Great business to go to an have fun.

This place used to be great...but not anymore. they are always on a buying freeze so they wont buy your stuff and never have any new inventory. their prices are a joke and half their games either have no boxes or are scratched beyond recognition. the workers are all jerks! all they care about is their dumpy arcade in the back room that sucks big time. this place was way better before they moved to this new building and started thinking they were an arcade. AVOID!

Im surprised by all the negative feedback. Weve never had anything repaired there, but we found the staff to be knowledgeable and very helpful. Their selection of games and movies is impressive and its fun to just go in and admire their collection. I am confused on the variety of items that are sold but theyve been around for awhile, and Ive been having a hard time finding a movie from the 80s and plan on calling them tomorrow to see if they have it!

They moved and as a result dont have as many games and movies. Still a nice little store though with a kind staff.

This place has been around since I was a kid. They sell so many older video games and gaming systems. The people who work there are nice and helpful, and their merchandise is inexpensive.

They sell there DVDs starting at $3, but they will only pay $0.25-0.50 per dvd. That is a major ripoff considering that is only 8.3 - 16.7%. Even pawn shops pay a higher percent than that.For quick selling goods, a good business should pay 60-70%. For slow selling goods, either pay no less than 40% or refuse to buy it. Even 30% could be acceptable if it is a really slow seller, but you still want it.I am a dealer too (Brents Cards and Coins) and I would never under pay someone that much. I dont buy often, but on items I have a difficult time selling, I may go down to 30%, but I would never go down to 8%. I bought a dragon from someone the other day and gave them half.

Been going here for years and quality has been steadily improving. The owner made a few unscrupulous hires out of the kindness of his heart and it ended up backfiring on him, but the people working there now are all pleasant and knowledgeable. They always sell games at lower prices Gamestop, and they also and buy games from you at higher prices. Its only a couple bucks in either direction but returning customers like myself save quite a bit over time, and they have a huge selection to choose from.Ive bought my last 3 consoles from them in the last 3 years, an Xbox 360, a PS3, and, an XboxOne, and they all still work perfectly. The consoles are competitively priced as well.

My mom contacted them about an arcade machine they had for sale through Craigslist. We were going there from New York which was over a 7 hour drive and we talked with their employees everyday for a week asking them if the machine was ready. Everyday they proceeded to tell us that this machine was ready and on Saturday when we got there and drove for over 7 hours the machine was in a storage warehouse and the company had locked their warehouse due to them not paying the bills. The owner never said he was sorry that this happened and asked us to just find another coin pusher. He didnt even offer us at least a 20% off coupon after driving there for 7 hours. This was for my 16th birthday and now I will not have a birthday present and we spent over $300 just to rent a car and drive there. This was a horrible store and the owner showed no empathy towards our situation, said there was nothing he could do until Monday and just continued serving other customers while my mom and I were standing there crying.

They have downsized which is confusing because the original store absolutely rocked

Poor to fair only because they dont have a bullshit button. 09-17-2012 I bought a 500GB PS3 system model number CK011318521. Everything was fine until the bluray drive burned out so I called them to see what was up and they told me $150 to fix it. Needless to say I called sony to get an alternate opinion, They ran the serial number and stated that it wasnt a 500GB system that it was in fact an 80GB system, the tech then instructed me on how to remove the HDD from the system and upopn doing so I found a 250GB HDD. I called the just at 2:45pm today 12-15-2012 and spoke with the assistant manager who told me that someone else must have put the HDD in the system and when I asked to speak to her boss she hung up the phone on me. I will be getting in contact with my attorney and will be filing a fraud suit against the company. They are nothing but liars and cheats and I strongly recommend that no one buy from this establishment. I will post more about the situation as it unfolds. I only hope that they decide to make it right before I does go to court because the evidence is stacked against them.

Ive been going here for years just to see what they have in stock and look for the rare deal or two. Knowing used games very well and being an informed consumer I know whats over priced and what isnt.The problem I have is that Ive over heard them ripping people off before. A woman came in with a Super Nintendo that had a loose AC input, a simple fix that basically costs nothing and takes about 5 minutes to perform, the guy behind the counter said it was beyond repair but hed be more than happy to throw it away for them and sell them a new SNES for $60.More than likely he knew how easy of a fix it was and wanted it for free so he could sell them a $60 SNES,fix the one they left there and sell it for another $60 making $120 profit off of this one woman. I caught her in the parking lot and told her whats up and she went and got her SNES back. I told her to ask around and find someone with a soldering Iron and about 5 minutes to spare.Ive also over heard the guy complaining about people returning items and that they should start charging a restocking fee. Someone had returned the same item several times for being defective....how about you stop trying to rip people off and selling the same defective item? Or at least have the sense not to talk about how you want to rip off customers in front of customers.I would NEVER buy a console from them, NEVER have them repair an item and in most cases dont even buy games from them and definitely would NEVER sell them anything. Occasionally I wil l see a game going for a litte less than amazon/ebay/craigslist and will buy from them. But thats rarely thecase. And you can sell your item for what its actually worth on amazon/ebay/craigslist.Another review on here says the main guy will sexually harass female customers and while Ive never witnessed that Im not surprised one bit as he seems the type.

Be going there for like 10+ years great store, great staff, great prices. Go check them out.

Treated like a common criminal and interrogated over a crap system that was sold to us. They did fix the issue after we finally got a manager to help us. After a resolved ending we bought Tetris for NES and it doesnt work. I dont think I could stomach driving back to get a refund at this point.
