We had a good time and really liked the spot. The host/ owner was very nice, helpful and personable. It was a cool little couples nite outing. Well definitely recommend it to people!

This was a great experience. AJ is an excellent instructor, the music was great and it’s BYOB. I would definitely go back again, I highly recommend this place over other options in Houston. There’s enough space for social distancing to have fun safely.

Awesome experience and great host! The owner was there when we went and taught us how to throw the ax and we were throwing like pros! Make sure to keep score with your team! We did 10 tries and played like darts. We also brought drinks and made it a drinking game... I lost lol! Will go again and recommending to friends and family

Great time! BYOB. Brought my youngest son, 17. Very different to darts. Took me 45 minutes to get the knack, then it was pure thunking pleasure. Staff is accommodating. Worn out planks get replaced on the spot. This is the newest fad competition and I hope it sticks.

Very fun. My grandkids said they thought it would be boring, but they both loved it and want to go back next week. The instructors are really nice and work with you during your slotted time.

Ratchet Hatchet definitely lives up to the hype! I went here this past weekend with a few of my girlfriends. Cody did a great job explaining to us how to handle and throw the axe. He was very encouraging and helpful! He even had the time to play a few games with us, since we were an odd number. Also, BYOB, drinks, and snacks. Will def come back again!

Super fun experience.Just know that throwing axes is a lot more difficult than it looks.BYOB so bring your drinks, bring your food, bring yourself, bring your friends, and then have some fun!Call in first to make sure they have a spot for you and your group because its a pretty small venue!

AJ and the team are awesome. The Tacodeli team came for some after work fun and were well cared for! Super easy to book, straightforward pricing and payment options (since it was a team event they invoices us and we paid digitally), and they were more than accommodating and friendly. We brought in some goodies but didn’t have drinks, and the team at Ratchet Hatchet went out and bought them for us, no questions asked. Service is spectacular. Thanks for showing our crew a great time!

This was my first visit, but it will not be my last. Cody was a wonderful host. I went with my Church group so it was just us. I couldnt get the hang of it with the hatchet we started with, after I changed to the larger sized hatchet it became simple, the added weight made it almost automatic. After our 90 minutes I was a little tired and ready to go but am looking forward to our next trip.

Fun times and great service. Definitely a cool spot for a first date or a hangout with friends. BYOB is a great touch. I was a first time axe thrower but quickly became an expert with the owners tips!! Would highly recommend!

Not recommended. No one is available to host the game. Space is too small therefore it felt unsafe. There is no competition created by the company to make the game fun.
