Dance of Asian American is an amazing place to dance. I have been dancing here for a while and I love it! The teachers are really nice, the students are all very friendly, and the studio is newly renovated. If you are apart of the company, you are able to perform at many public events and shows. I have done performances and I enjoy doing them. Overall, DAA is an amazing place to dance. I would recommend it.

If you are looking for a quality dance company and academy that cares about technique and form, then this is the place to enroll your kids!! I love the attention and support that Janie and her team offer my girls, both in Chinese dance and Ballet. Very reasonably priced and flexible with class options.My daughters love the friendships created here, the encouragement from the older more experienced girls, and the care the teachers show them when they cant quite land their moves correctly. The confidence my girls have in themselves definitely can be credited to being at DAA. They perform on stage and can also do extra performances if they want to around town.

Dance of Asian America is the premier dance company in Houston specializing in authentic Chinese dance. I strongly recommend DAA for performances for special events. I have worked with this company for over 12 years. They rise to every occasion! I also recommend their school for dance classes for children. They have the best teachers from China as well as professional ballet teachers. Be sure to check the calendar of Miller Outdoor Theatre for performances by Dance of Asian America. They perform every spring and fall and have been doing so for over a decade. They are fabulous events for all ages and especially fun for kids. Even my 2 and 5 year old boys love going to these shows! Dance of Asian America is a gem in our city.
