Art bookstores are always great for finding unusual gifts. The MFAH shop includes a great selection of kids items. Display cases change with each exhibit and are always fresh and have an unusually artistic flair. Its a beautiful bookstore that will ignite your creativity.

The experience was decent but the items sold are previously used and extremely over priced. Mainly designer scarves and hand made jewelry. Definitely not something to be overly excited about.

The store is beautiful. Unique selection of books, and jewelry and apparel. The staff is quite awful. I walked in and was not greeted by any of the 5 people standing behind the counter. I walked around trying to find something to catch my eye for about 10 minutes with still no acknowledgement. Went to both jewelry counters TWICE, until I had to ask for some assistance. Over heard them discussing how slow it was even though I was standing right in front them ready to purchase! I still purchased the earrings I loved but I had to let someone know how bad I felt leaving the store. I hope this comment gets to someone who sees the value in great customer service!

If you have never been go across to the other building. Its a nice place for family.

Its okay there are some unique things to shop for at very reasonable prices. Its a fun place for children to find different kind of toys. I do recommend the place wanting something that is one of a kind.

It had things that you saw in the museum but less expensive and usually they were replicas. All in all great place to be.

I love this museum shop! I almost always find a gift or something for my home here. Sometimes they have great jewelry thats related to a visiting exhibit. Check for the sale section too because they have great kids books at a discount most of the time.
