College rock is a great place to go to learn to rock climb or hit some moderate grade top ropes.Its proximity to Boston makes it one of the best Crags for the amount of driving you have to do to get there.As a note make sure you have either active protection pieces or extra-long slings or webbing lengths so that you can set up stable anchors.There are a variety of roots here that will satisfy everyone from absolute beginners two more seasoned climbers looking for a more challenging experience.The parking lot is quite small, it only fits around five to six cars, so try to carpool if you are going with a group. Also watch out for the rocks in the entryway they will wreck the bottom of your car if you are not careful.
