We loved coming here for a night out in the past. Unfortunately on our last visit, we discovered they no longer serve wine, and no more popcorn. Im hoping these will return, so that we can continue enjoying this place

This is a great, local, comedy club right in the heart of Hopkins downtown. It’s relatively small and definitely no frills. There is at least free popcorn & a full bar, which is nice and the prices are reasonable. It’d be nice if they offered some food but in fairness there are several restaurants close by. I don’t know if you’re allowed to bring in outside food. It still needs some work but given that it’s 1-2 years old, there’s definitely more to love than dislike. The comedy acts are legitimately funny and that’s a huge plus. I will definitely go again and I hope this business is a success. Please go and support it especially if you live locally.

We were here with a group of 23 for a birthday, and they accommodated us well! Intimate theater space. We thought the comedians were hilarious!

Great little comedy club in downtown Hopkins. Only offers 3.2 beer, but theres plenty of close bars for food and drinks before and after a show.

Small intimate setting... great local comedians like, Joe, Ms.Shannon, Todd J the list goes on... the owner is cool and his doorman (Nick) is extremely cute. Heard he was leaving for Texas tho. But if u wanna laugh hard in a comfortable environment and get a little tipsy with friends and family at the same time.. this is the place to be...P.S. visit Pub 819 for food it next door to the comedy club

Small audience of about 50 seats, so youre never far from the small stage. Not a bad seat in the house. Have some free popcorn and order a wine or beer to add to the fun. The comedians were hilarious! All in all, it was a fantastic evening!

Went for a Saturday night show several months back. Nice space, but it was far from full and one of the warm-up acts was pretty awkward. Had a beer and was hoping for some of the popcorn, but when I asked about it, the guy said that he wasnt going to pop any that night because he didnt want to clean the machine.

I will never give this place a chance. Pander to 3% of your market and you’ll only get 3% of your potential business.

Went here for the first time the other day and I was pretty impressed. It is a small venue and is easy to walk past with out noticing it.The comedians were great and their acts were all different. It was 21+ only show. The owner was chatting with customers before the start and he was pretty nice.The alcohol was reasonably priced. If you sign up for their email list there were promotions for tickets but even with out it the price was not bad.I will definitely be coming back.

Its an ideal comedy club from the standpoint of an intimate theatre (50 persons), there are no bad seats and there are places to eat or grab a drink nearby prior to the show. The downside is that I worry about the business models viability in the long run. The owner has the passion, but a tough business to make money in with that limited seating and lack of liquor revenue. I sincerely hope he does.

Small intimate room. Supports many local comedians. Awesome location, I really like not having to pay parking fees every time I go to see a show. Great accommodating staff. Will visit here again soon.

Very nice. Really warm, intimate vibe In this club. Major props for making the commitment to being a dedicated comedy theater and not just a dive bar that puts up a mic. Looking forward to seeing this place grow

This is a great place - highly recommend !! Great service and a very fun and friendly staff. This is an excellent place to see up and coming comedians in a fun and intimate environment. There is a variety of talent here - arrive with an open mind and laugh.

Had a good time, the opener was great, the (drunk/ high) headliner was not nearly as funny as he thought he was.

Love this place! Great national and local Performers. Drinks are reasonable and parking was easy. Can’t ask for much more in a west metro comedy club.

The Royal comedy theatre is one of my favorite clubs to play in America. It a smaller club but that makes the space intimate and awesome. Crowds are smart and come to laugh. Get there now cause when the rest of minneapolis finds out about this place it will be impossible to get seats. The owner cares about comedy which always makes for a great club.

First time at the place-- we saw Amy Miller. She was hilarious, we were laughing throughout the entire show. Unfortunately, there was a rude guest in the audience who was later kicked out of the show. Both Amy Miller and the staff handled the situation well. Amy was quick to get back into the jokes not to kill the mood for the rest of the audience. Overall it was a great experience and I would go back again!

Very cool, very small spot on Hopkins Main Street. No frills comedy and drinks. I have belly laughed every time Ive been there. The owner runs the till. Support local. This place rules.

Great little dive comedy club! Great for date night, lots of great places to visit before and after a show. Cant beat the prices.

Ive been here a couple of times and its a great little club with attentive staff.

Great show but I was really put off by the people in the croud heckling the comedian. The owner was standing in the back and allowed it to happen the entire show and for this I wont be back.
