Another Sunday Funday for a girls lunch at this cute restaurant by the water. When I arrived there was a parking lot that the restaurant shared. We walked in and was greeted by the host. We had a nice spot right by the water. The ambiance and older style but not bad. We were served by this nice, older gentleman named Julio. He was very nice just a little forgetful lol. We all ordered our food and drinks. I ordered sangria and shrimp and pasta diablo. The sangria was really good and fresh. The shrimp diablo was ok. I had to add salt and pepper to taste a little better. The girls experienced the same with their meals. I paid about $48 for everything. All in all I had a good experience.

I had the best food, service and time. I recommend everyone go and enjoy. It was wonderful.

This place is hidden gem! Patio seating overlooks the lake. The food and drinks are amazing! Authentic Italian- you can taste how fresh it is. Ordered the penne vodka and it was mouth watering plus they were able to add salmon to it which was also very good. Cant wait to go back!

Food, portions and ambience were all very good. Our server Sylvia was super friendly and attentive. The view was a added bonus. Would come back.

Hey all...you may want to change the information on your website that offers brunch. My wife and I made a reservation for brunch the day after our wedding, and the person that took the reservation didnt seem to know that you dont offer brunch. Not a big deal as were local and didnt come from far away, but update your info...your waitress when we got there said brunch isnt happening probably until January.

My brothers and I took our mom there for Her birthday dinner, and I am extremely disappointed. The service was HORRIBLE.. it took FOREVER for the server to greet our table & take our drink order. I had to call her over So she could take our food order bc I think she literally just forgot about our table. Our appetizer took so long to come out and our dinner took about 2 hours to come out. the pasta was cold, she did not come to our table ONCE to ask how anything was or to see if we needed anything else. I had to call her over twice to get another round of drinks. It was ridiculous and the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. I never write reviews but people need to know and be aware before going there. Super annoyed.

Food is excellent. We had the short rib fettuccine and the cavatelli with sausage and fried calamari.Waited an hour to be seated even though I had reservations for 2 and there are lots of mosquitoes biting outside. Hopefully indoor dining comes back soon.

Wow. If the weather permits, and there is room, definitely sit on the patio. My partner and I went in the evening, and we watched the sun set over sparkling water. When it was dark, the lights in the distance reflected in the water, looking magical. It started to drizzle at first, and we popped open the umbrella at the table, not wanting to go inside. Then the heavy rain came, and the waitress ran outside to see if we were okay. At that point, we moved everything indoors.The waitress gave us a complimentary loaf of crispy, fresh bread. It was served with flavourful oil and spices. When we moved inside, she replaced our loaf, in case it was rained on. Super delicious. We may have even filled ourselves up before our meals came, but our meals tasted just as great reheated later on.The garden salad with vinaigrette dressing was nice. We also tried the Caesar salad. It was okay. The dressing wasnt my favourite, but I think its made in house, which I can appreciate. My partner has mussels and a salty clam broth, I believe, he loved it.We ordered the Penne Vodka with chicken, and a Chicken Parmesan sandwich with french fries. Oh my, the french fries were incredible. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Super flavourful. Best fries, hands down. The sandwich was excellent. Loved what it was served on. Large portion, great price. The pasta was really good, and the grilled chicken on top was really nicely cooked.The whole experience was wonderful. We look forward to going again.

Great place for the views of Lake Hopatcong! The bar is nice and the patio seating is the best. The food is ok, depends on what you order. Stay away from the calimari, tried it twice and both times was soggy.

Its a nice place, with covid restrictions and outdoors dinning it wasnt that good of experience, even having reservation they had us waiting, when we were seating at the bar to wait for a table.....you had to wear your mask, people were asking how am I supposed to drink??... Their answer was, thats the rule!!!!

Great restaurant and friendly staff. The food was delicious and plated very well including the Cannoli which was my favorite. Definitely worth the trip and if it was a little warmer out we would have dined on their deck outside which looked beautiful. Thank you for a great dinner and experience!!

Lots of fun. Went for Karaoke with Kip. Good crowd. Karaoke Kip did a great job. This was in the bar area. You can order food to eat at the bar too. Weve come in the past for their Sunday brunch which was very good also. Located right on the lake. Outside decks. Beautiful old stone building. Will definitely go back.

There were six of us that went, food was average, nothing really stood out with any of us. However if you like to dance they usually have dancing on the weekends and you can see from the crowd they are regulars that go there just to dance and drink.

Went on a Friday night. We really wanted to support one of the local businesses as opposed to the ones that are all owned by the same company. We were quickly sat at our table and then waited hours for food and it seemed as though they forgot about us. Then the waitress came and spilled oil all over me and acted like it was a normal part of the dining experience. At this point we asked for management and they said “well your food will be right out”. They didn’t offer to pay for cleaning my pants or any type of concession for the extremely long wait and poor service. We eventually just got up and left. Don’t waste your time, you are better off at any of the other restaurants on the lake .

This place knows how to take care of their clients. Consistently with a very welcoming attitude. The food is reasonably priced, always tasty and neat.

Unique dining place. Part in an old church. Dining inside or dockside on Lake Hopatcong. One of the better restaurants on the lake. Very good food.

We go to listen to the bands. We just have drinks most of the time because it takes so long to get served. Weve eaten there from time to time and the food was pretty good. Just takes forever to get someone to wait on you and then another forever for them to bring it. To get a drink youre better off just going to the bar instead of hoping for a server. They do have good bands most of the time and a lively crowd.

First time we had brunch at this place. Great selection of food and good quality. I wish the weather had cooperated and we could have eaten outside. We started to sit outside but after less than three minutes, the weather brought us in.

Lovely place. My dad is the piano man of Jersey Sound and they play there often. Great spot for dancing, amazing food and friendly service. Love the bar that looks carved out of a church. Pricy but worth it.

Came here with my wife and kidsIt was a slow Thursday, we were sat immediately outside, put our order in for drinks and apps.Put our order in shortly after, We didn’t get bread , then 45 min later our apps came out my wife ordered a meal that came with salad that also didn’t come out. food was still not out over a hour later. We asked for our check to pay for what we had and we left. Very disappointed will not be returning Seems like no one cared either

Food was very good but waitresses staff seemed to thin. Barely came back for refills we had to get her attention. Yes the place was crowded because if live entertainment but they should be staffed for high volume. Location is ideal overlooking lake. We were a party if 8 and asked for separate checks up front and were told can only split bill into 4 Bills max. We worked ut out. All in all we had a good time because we were with goid friends.

I went to this place with my family and friends at around 7:30pm, the place was not packed, busy, but not packed. When we showed up we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or out, a waitress told us we would be taken care of if we were sat outside. She took our drinks and went off about her business. It was about 20 minutes before we got the drinks (including a pitcher of water). She took our drinks and we were then left alone for about 30 more minutes before we had to send someone to ask where our server was. The server came by, to tell someone else to get us bread and give one of us a salad and ask about another round of drinks. It was 9:00pm when we had to yet again ask for our waitress and ask what was going on with the food. When the food finally came we had decided it was too late and we were too hungry to go some place else. That mistake was second only to entering the restaurant. The food was sub-par at best, the Pasta de Mario; had under-seasoned pasta accompanied by a poor pomodoro sauce that tasted mainly of tomato paste, I decided not to taste anyone elses meals as I was getting too salty or fairly tasteless from all ends of the table. We asked for a manager to ask if this was acceptable for them. The manager challenged us multiple times never once showing us any empathy for our situation and when we asked what they were going to do for the inconvenience we had suffered, they said we could get a desert. We said no thank you and left the restaurant after paying for the meal. I do not believe any of us will be eating at that restaurant ever again.

Good food and service. The owner is very caring and even went as far as to open the restaurant even on a day they were supposed to be closed so that we could host my Grandpas funeral reception at his favorite place. Also a popular venue for people of all ages to dine and drink.

I went for a friends wedding. The food was good, but the place isnt really as fancy as it appears on the drive up. The tables were mashed together for the wedding. The man bringing out the plates, held them against his body on the food side of the plate. The door handle was missing on one of the doors on the main entrance. The wait staff were wearing yoga pants with mesh see through on them for a wedding!!! If you have no standards, then go there. It was pretty much a put lipstick on a pig type place.

I went to this bar tonight and I asked the bartender if it was possible to fix my drink because I ordered a tequila sunrise and it was all juice absolutely no alcohol, and the bartender proceeded to tell me that she made the drink so she knew there was alcohol in it, so I said well is it possible for me to get another shot of tequila in the drink and she told me yeah, if you pay for it. So I asked how much it would cost and she told me $5, so I said well there’s no way that you can fix my drink and just make a new one and she again proceeded to tell me if i could If I paid for it. I ended up leaving the drink on the bar and not ordering anything else because she went and started talking to the other bartender while staring at me which made me very uncomfortable. And why would I want to order another drink if I felt uncomfortable? Will never be returning here, the staff is very rude.

Really what a share, their staff at brunch forgets about their tables then demand a tip - 18% for a buffet?! Maybe if they actually came by to refill water or coffee. Used to be okay but now good and service are completely lacking. Listen to the reviews and save your $$$ for somewhere that cares. Not coming back, will find somewhere else to eat.Following up to the reply from owner - weve been patrons for over 4 years. The last 3 visits have not been good, we do not plan on returning. Coming back would only benefit you.
