Short walk on both bridges. Nice view of the Merrimack River. My son, daughter and I tossed stones of the railroad bridge. Saw people jumping of the railroad bridge. Swimming area nearby. Lots of graffiti. Veterans Park at Jacobs Square right next to bridges. General store next to railroad bridge. Parking lot available.

Walking bridge built after Sept 2017. Good and Wide crosses over Merrimack River and accesss Hooksetts, NH small Veterans Memorial Park we parked in American Legion club lot to walk some and crossed the bridge to see the other side. Walked along Merrimack St toward a park and Boat ramp access for the river.

True reminder that life doesnt have to big in a big hurry to get nowhere

Nice historic area. Too bad there is so much litter where everyone hangs out along the river.
