We stayed at the Bear’s Den and couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. The house was very spacious and had gorgeous views of the water. Definitely worth getting up to watch the sunrise from the dining room!

Outstanding people, breathtaking location, and unique accommodations!We stayed in the Double Eagle and were SO pleased with its charm, comfort and cleanliness. The views from all 3 decks were jaw-dropping, and its closeness to Homer is wonderfully convenient.Karen, Bryan, and their staff go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed and comfortable.Should get 7 STARS!

My wife and I had such a nice time here on our Honeymoon. The views of Kachemak Bay are spectacular and you can sit on the large deck and watch the fishing boats depart and return. Easy access to the spit but more quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend Dovetail for a couple, but theres an adjacent room for kids.

Our cabin was neat and clean with fantastic views. But what was wonderful was the care that the owner Karen gave us. One of our members became ill and had to be hospitalized. Karen was extremely helpful providing transportation to the local hospital. I would definitely recommend her cabins for a place to stay in Homer.

Great people and a great place.

We stayed in the Upper Caboose. The view is breathtaking! Very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend Alaska Adventure Cabins.

I’m not the type who will post reviews on line. My first impression was WOW. The views from the Dovetail cabin is second to none! We were greeted by Karen to show us the ropes, which was greatly appreciated . The cabin is perfect for us. It has 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms that are well taken care of and everything works. I can see great effort in keeping the cabin pristine. This is our second day here and we’re already taking about returning next year. Crazy, isn’t it?

The views are incredible and the hosts are very friendly and communicative. Plus you get to sleep in a railroad car.

Cool, fun, and funky place to stay with AMAZING views of the ocean and surrounding mountains and glaciers. Highly recommended!

Wonderful stay. Very nice cabin, clean, quiet, great views and lots of unexpected supplies not usually provided in cabins (grill, dishes, paper towels, soap, etc) Moose come right up to the property where you can watch through picture window. Be aware this is a self check in/out location and you that you need to call/email ahead of your stay for the details (i.e. Arrange arrival time, key location, directions to lodging-they have multiple lodging types onsite & multiple drive ways & parking)

We stayed in the Canyon cabin. It has amazing views of Cook Inlet and the mountains. The cabin was totally equipped with everything we needed, including a washer and dryer, which was a pleasant surprise. The only downsides were that the beds werent extremely comfortable and there also werent effective blackout curtains, which made it a little hard to get to sleep. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Wife and I started in the moose caboose and had a great time! We had not even finished moving out suitcase in when we spotted a pair of humpback whales not far from shore. Comfortable beds, great views, great access to Homer, would stay here again!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this very unique caboose cabin, and the location was so close to the water, and the scenery was so beautiful. the cabin was decorated so perfect and everything was provided so we only needed to get groceries. We would love to come again.

Awesome Bears Den cabin. Has every amenity. Great proprietors. Ideal location. This is THE place to stay in Homer. Bryan and Karen are wonderful and this cabin rocks.

We had a great stay at the lower moose caboose cabin and would definitely return. The kitchen was well stocked and we were pleased with the barbecue and beautiful deck. There was a little confusion at first about the cabin we were supposed to rent and it was annoying the owner confused us as being married (we were a group of three friends). Also the washing machine broke and were were stuck with soaking wet fishy clothes with no time to head to the laundromat. But overall, a wonderful cabin and beautiful view.

What a great cabin for a getaway!! Fully equipped with anything you could imagine or need! Lots of comfortable chairs and bedding, beautifully decorated! And a million dollar view of Kachemak Bay!! Couldnt have been more pleased with the accommodations and location!

We had a group of people stay at The Bears View and they loved it. The house was well-appointed and comfortable. They really liked cooking outside and enjoying the view. We will be using Alaska Adventure Cabins when staying in Homer in the future.

I thought the views and the atmosphere were wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Only sad thing was the massive fire from the Kenai peninsula created a smoky view.The only was also very helpful.I think youll love the setting.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Wonderful house on the bay, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer, heating, everything.The extra bonus are the owners; Karen and Bryan Zak are always ready to help - and we needed them when I lost the key.By the way, we had an unexpected (but welcome) visit by a moose!

Great View! Cabin had a small kitchen with everything needed to cook meals, there was a nice propane BBQ and a washer and dryer. Perfect little cabin for a family trip to Homer.

Excellent cabins, we stayed in Glacier View. Plenty of room for the 3 of us, would be great for two couples too. Amazing views of the bay and surrounding mountians. We enjoyed the privacy too. Fully furnished with a washer and dryer. Great place, a little pricy but well worth it!

My wife and I just got back home last night (9/30/13). We did not want to come home! Bryan and Alaska Adventure Cabins was the best experience we could have had. So much fun and absolutely beautiful. We will be returning and renting from Bryan again. Glacier View cabin was so perfect and the views were incredible. Wish I could give it six stars!

I recently had the pleasure of staying on the Double Eagle, an Alaska Adventure Cabins property. The views of Kachemak Bay and Homer Spit from the Double Eagle are amazing!!! The Double Eagle is truly a unique suite. There were five people in my party and we were very comfortable in the accommodations. There are eagles constantly flying by the ship as they commute to and from the bay. If you have even the slightest bit of seafarer in your blood....this is the place to stay when you are in Homer, Alaska.

My husband and I stayed at the Double Eagle for 3 days for our honeymoon, we had a wonderful time, relaxing on the decks, grilling and enjoying the sun, and watching the boats and eagles and seagulls, we loved the ship, it was comfy, nicely decorated and we will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful setting, and lovely accomodations with every possible household need available for your use.We loved the quiet and privacy of the Moose Caboose. We had planned to dine out more often in Homer, but were so taken by our view of Kachemak Bay that we ended up grilling dinner on the spacious deck while enjoying the beautiful Alaskan summer evenings.

The outside walk to the second bedroom was a bit of a pain, but the place was great overall.
