We did a halibut / king trip and it was the best. My wife and I could never imagined such a great fishing trip. My wife caught a 140 lb 65 inch long halibut. Amazing! Ive been fishing with G for years, getting the chance to have his sister as a captain was equally as great! Captain C is passionate, intense, and knowledgeable. I always come home with enough fish to last me till next season. I personally prefer smaller charters, I feel like I get more out of the whole trip, The Snowgoose is always clean, plus there is a restroom. Best Charter off the spit!!!

Went on the Snowgoose today with Captain Jamie and it was an absolutely amazing experience! I’ve been on many charters and no one has worked as diligently as he has, he found the fish and got us hooked up in no time! I got the opportunity to catch my first Halibut and King Salmon! My cousin and I took a trip to Alaska last month to celebrate finishing college. Per a friends recommendation, we went fishing on the Snowgoose II with Captain Ciara.Capt. Ciara is wonderful. Not only is she knowledgeable and easy-going, but she is feisty and competitive. She would throw back smaller fish if she thought she could catch bigger ones and she was careful that the pictures we took didnt reveal the location of her secret fishing spots. She had a genuine love of the sport and came alive whenever a fish took the line. It was a thrilling day.The whole book caught their limit and I pulled in a 100 lb Halibut, a personal record. I also landed some pretty Kings as well. Filled the freezer.I could not recommend this charter enough. Ive fished out of Homer before, but this beats every fishing day Ive ever had. Without question, Ill hire D&G charters and Capt. Ciara if Im in Homer again.Bring bananas if you book with them. Captain Ciara loves them and we were glad to share ours with her as a thank-you.
