The location was awesome, right on the boardwalk and beach. Pool was good could hold only 8 to 10. The big downer was the mattresses both on the main bed and the flip down. They are definitely ready to be replaced in unit 3. Otherwise good resort.

No matter what kind of weather the Hollywood Sands resort is the perfect place to stay.

It was really great. Especially, the location. Right at the beach. And plus the rooms were good. Suggest it to everyone!

Direkt am See. Hidden gem in Florida - no car needed for a week ! Walk to the Atlantic Ocean, watch cruise liners, enjoy nightlife, music, fantastic food nearby. Possibly one of the best condition resorts with all the best traditions of old Florida

The location, price and condition of the property was great. The staff was very polite and accommodating. The only thing that I would change is that check-in time is between 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This can be a tight window when traveling from out of state, especially when flying. A 2:00 or 3:00 check in would be more convenient. However, they did move up our check-in time as much as possible which was very nice of them.

If you ever get the opportunity to stay at the Hollywood Sands Resort, do it and youll be so Happy you did .

Room was nice. First time we ever slept in a Murphy bed and it was very comfortable. The location was great since it was right on the beach and along the boardwalk. The pool was nice but the hot tub was very small-maybe room for four.

Just went to a party here. Nice place, right on the beach.

We were amazed at how nice the staff was. A very relaxed atmosphere throughout the property. With being right on the beach we could not have been happier. The rooms were very nice and comfortable.

Property was very clean and the staff was friendly. The condo had coffee pot and blender. There was adequate parking spaces

Our stay was excellent, the rooms were very clean, it had everything, that hotel is in the perfect location. We loved it and will stay again for sure. The only thing was the maintenance of the pool, it needs a lit bit more, but the cleaning crew gets there every morning, just that at night, I guess with all the people that gets in with sunblock cream, leaves a ugly film on the surface. Other than that the hotel is excellent.

This place was great. Easy to find and get to. Parking is always an issue at beach locations, glad we got 1 car allotment. But the hotel next door you can pay to park at if you need to.Right on the broadwalk . Live entertainment wed thru sat a few minutes walk down the beach at margaritaville.The rooms were comfortable. We had our kid stay the first night in the Murphy bed. But switched halfway thru the stay so we could be in the living room area without waking him going in and out while he slept.Pool was super warm heated and awesome for October weather.Only thing is quiet time is early since this is a time share resort with some rentals, the owners have a large say in rules.Bike rack near the pool inside the gate. Nice.3rd floor was nice to overlook things but with a kid would have liked 2nd or 1st better. But the room we were supposed to get had an issue, so ended up with 3rd fl corner. Not the best. But still on the beach. Would totally stay here again

Great location, tight on the boardwalk and beautiful beach. Rooms have updated kitchens and bathrooms. Friendly helpful staff. Convenient to Ft Lauderdale and not far fro. Miami. We will definitely return there.

Loved the view , Layout, design, rooms, salt water pool, to have towels and kitchen supplies as well as toilet paper supplied for us.Wished that they kept up with their recycling plan..all goes in the trash now.Wish the pool was cleaned more often.

Amazing deal....and rooms were better than expected ....house keeping and maintenance seemed mad all the time ...but didnt ruin the experience ....would definitely come back

It has been a fantastic week at Hollywood Sands Resort. The location is second to none on the Broadwalk. The charm of this mid-century resort is a bonus. We were challenged to find anything negative... its been fabulous!

So far it is a nice beach resort.....We have only been here 2 days of our week long stay.The weather has been fabulous and the Resort is clean but it advertised in RCI as a ocean front place and yes part of it is on the beach, but our condo is on the backside across the street and we are NOT on the ocean! Food is close by as it is next to a Marriott hotel so we ate there.it costs $60 a day for 2 folding chairs and an umbrella on the beach

We stayed in 26 it was great stay. I noticed ac line and coil kept freezing, possibly from low coolant or fact missing air filter. FYi

Our second visit to the Hollywood Sands Resort, and hope to have many more! The secret to a good resort is the staff, and the HSR staff are outstanding. The maintenance is continual and keeping the rooms and facility in perfect condition. The rooms are well appointed with above average furnishings, all the kitchen utensils you need, the beds are comfy, the A/C is cold, the rooms are cleaned well for your arrival, the compound is secure, and the ocean views from the east building apts, well, thats what makes it such a memorable stay. The location is the north end of the broadwalk, right on the broadwalk, away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to walk to the broadwalk restaurants. The Hotels dot com pre-booking and payment worked perfectly both stays. Yes, we have one complaint, the Hollywood Sands Resort reputation is well-known; and it is hard to get rooms for the next week if you want to extend your stay! But we will keep trying, it is that good!.

Our room was recently completely refurbished including new appliances. Very clean.

Great location on Boardwalk but not to on same block of restaurants which was great because of all the noise next to restaurants. Pool was good and excellent room. I had the studio which had a full kitchen, sofa and Murphy queen size bed. just need to rearrange furniture to open the bed. Staff was great. ALLWAYS attentive and on site

Hotel was very clean. Hotel was right on the beach. Are room had 2 bathrooms and pull down bed. Beach towels provided, fully quipped kitchen (with blender). Will be staying here again.

This resort is centrally located on Hollywood beach, a mere few steps from the ocean. The views here are amazing. The staff and owners are friendly, helpful and aim to please! I love returning to this beachfront Gem and visiting with Tammy who makes me feel right at home. Id love to write more,but id rather enjoy all the gorgeous water and sunshine!!

We just love it!!! The pool needed a bit more maintenance but that place is in the right spot, we will stay there again definetely.

This is not good for handicapped...pool difficult unless on first floor...foret it..and simply difficult...I will leave it at that

In our opinion, this little treasure is the best place on the Broadwalk. We love the quaint coziness of Hollywood Sands. You are close to everything but far enough away from the hustle to get a decent sleep. The facilities are very well maintained and are kept clean and modern with annual updates and renovations. You are treated like family here. While each apartment is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, extra cooking utensils are available to borrow from the office. There are no items food items available for cooking, like salt and pepper, but paper towels and cleaning supplies are included. Towels and linens are provided and beds are comfy. There is free wifi on site and cable TV. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are secure and easy to access. There are two buildings with many options for privacy, views and personal preference. The pool is clean and is kept at the perfect temperature year round. The hot tub is small but located in a quiet, private location away from pool. There are outside grills, laundry facilities and lots of outdoor seating. We loved this location so much after our first stay that we started looking immediately for our own time share week. Im pretty sure that you will agree after your first stay.

Good location on Hollywood Beach. Suites are very clean and nice. Staff is very friendly. And usually other vacationers are very friendly. Always have a great time there.

We stayed here for Thanksgiving week. Its right on the Hollywood Broadwalk/beach. Decent pool with bar b que and nice views of ocean or just people watching on the Broadwalk. Efficiency was small but clean with new appliances and fine for 2 adults and child. Reasonably priced even for holiday week. Most of the other guests were time share owners. Its a fairly long walk south to the restaurant area on the Broadwalk and we stayed on the 3rd floor with no elevator so be prepared to walk.

Overall great resort and great location right on the beach. Would stay there again!

Our favourite place to go in Florida. Wonderful staff. Great facility and right on the beach. A boardwalk (Broad Walk) is also right there and you can walk miles and see shops, restaurants and lot of people.A comment above says they are not open past 7:00 PM. True, but if you call ahead and tell them you are coming, they will leave your key in a combination lock box.

For the money I would expect better. The public beach was much more well kept

Amazing views and great location on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. Love being so close to the Marriott beach bar and other bars with live music. The facilities are nice, clean and well staffed.

We are timeshare owners. It is my favorite week of the year. This is, from what Ive seen, one of the BEST resorts on the Broadwalk. The Marriot bar is right next door. The beach is directly in front of you. We sit on the deck every night relaxing and people watching. The facility is beautiful, clean, and relaxing. It is a CHILL week. Youll love it!

Quaint and right on the broadwalk. Excellent location short walk to restaurants and Margaritaville. Rooms are dated but adequate for a nice vacation. Trolly service is great. They are time shared owned so you would have to contact the office for more information. The two things that keep it at a three star are:#1 parking is so limited if anyone comes to visit its almost impossible for them to find any spots on weekends.#While on the pool deck you have no ocean view unless you stand.

Nice hotel, very clean and right by the broad walk and beach. I had a studio for 3 nights which was very clean with a kitchen and comfortable for two people. It was the perfect place for a stay at the beach. I am definitely going back soon and for a longer stay since I liked it very much.

Beautiful beach and awesome amenities!!! Clran pool and well kept area!!! They even have a grill to BBQ on!! Definitely coming back!!!

I’m almost reluctant to review this hiddengem because I don’t wanted to become overrun with other travelers. Unable to stay at my usual Hollywood Beach location, I stayed for three nights at the Hollywood Sands resort. Absolutely lovely Tucktaway, quiet, next to all the happening events on the Hollywood Broadwalk, and of course the beautiful beach. The staff was amazingly accommodating. I urgently needed an early check-in in order to make an engagement. They bent over backwards to have my unit ready for me so I could check in and be on my way. Kudos to Olga Tammy and that lovely gentleman who helped me with my heavy luggage. I’m looking forward to my returnNext summer. Can’t wait

Nice room. Good location. But no service after 7 so if you arrive past, you’re stuck. We had problems with our shower. The hot water was running for about 5 minutes but then got cold and it was impossible to finish comfortably. Wished there were hooks in the bathroom to hang up towels and bathrobes. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and had a set of kitchen knives, but they were flimsy and would suggest the resort provide a chefs knife. They did have a blender and pans/pots, although they weren’t that great either as the food we cooked got stuck to them.

Good for an overnighter but not worth the cost as a weekly timeshare

Got a single studio with murphy bed. Super location just a few steps to the Hollywood boardwalk. Great hot tub. Reasonable price for great quality. You can pay more for a dumpy motel or you can stay here. This place is quiet. Not party city. There are other places for that action.

My family has been an owner of a unit for over 30 years. We love coming here each year. The only negative is the poor maintenance beginning to show. The pool needs to be skimmed more often. Also safety tape on steps are missing and hand rails are kind of unsafe.

Pool was dirty construction happening around and in the hotel everything in the room was old staff very friendly they had a Jacuzzi that you could not go in it was roped off the whole area was being fixed I guess just the place to sleep didnt stay and enjoy anything inside of the hotel

Very comfortable. The only thing was the price, which I think is a little over priced and that we stayed in a separate building were we couldnt see the sunrise in the mornings, but in general, our stay was very good. I really recommend Hollywood Sands Resort.

The Tiki bar is the place to be, with beautiful turquoise ocean! The staff is nice, overall a good experience!!

Hollywood Besch is a hidden jewel if you like the besch without the hassle.
