The real MTB part of my ride was in the Wenakeening Woods in Holliston. Apparently this is considered Vietnam Region although it is quite a distance from the Adams st area. Compared to Adams, these are easier to negotiate for beginners. This area is flowy but all single track and quite narrow at times. Trails are well marked and mostly easy to follow. I made a loop using trails 1, 2,3,and 6. There is a much more extensive network in there that I didn’t have time to explore. I rode this as a part of a 6.8 mile ride. Most of the ride was on an unpaved section of the Upper Charles Trail. The entrance to Wenakeening Woods is 2.75 miles East from Zane Circle on the Charles River trail. There are much closer locations to access Wenakeening where there is safe and legal parking, which is recommended.
