I run the stairs every week. This preserve is a hidden gem in Holland. Not too busy, great views (especially in the winter when the leaves arent blocking the view of the Lake) and friendly people. Check this place out if you want a nice walk. Go off the beaten path a bit and youll find this cool Graffiti spot that my dog and I like to visit.

Beautiful trail. On 66th just south of 32nd. There is limited parking. Bike rack and portable bathroom on site. Picnic tables. Dog friendly. The path is very clean, but there are a lot of stairs to the back part of the trail. Worth the effort to see the wilderness.

Beautiful place to come and hang out with your family and go and explore nature at its finest. Be sure to bring a bottle of water, and just a heads up the stairs are a lot more than they look, a 368 step stair case with a wonderful out looking pad on top great for family nature photos. Enjoy my photos I taken here

While there are a LOT of stairs to climb to get to the upper trail, the views of Lake Macatawa make it worthwhile.

The stairs are a challenge but it is great exercise. Once at the top, the trail is absolutely wonderful. The views of the two lakes is breathtaking. My wife and I visit Sanctuary Woods often. Reccomend you give it a try.

Great secluded little park that makes you feel like youve left the city. Once you climb the imposing stairs the trails run in either direction along the ridges.

Gorgeous walking paths with an overlook of the water through the trees. Lots of inclines and stairs here, so those who visit should be comfortable with physical exercise. Wear long sleeves and pants to avoid being bitten by mosquitos here.

If you dont mind a mini, Mt. Pisgah stairway up into the beautiful tree filled path, then this is the place for you. The stairs take you up to the path. Very beautiful and a nice, short loop. You can see the sparkling sun reflected in the water down below on Lake Macatawa. Great for a refresher of peacefulness whether youre just starting your day, or just ending it. What are you waiting for?! Go check it out!!P.S Important news: There is a geocache at this location.
