Such a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Very much a spot for locals to walk to or just stop by to relax after a long day. The boardwalk is so nice and there are plenty of nice grassy spaces to enjoy.

This is a picturesque, sprawling park. Lots of places to sit and have a picnic and enjoy a view of the water. A walk along the boardwalk is always enjoyable and you can catch up on what is biting from the fisherman.

Beautiful park area with a playground and walking paths right next to Lake Macatawa! There is a new boardwalk that goes across the water right along the Heinz Pickle Factory that is very pretty. Many people like to fish there as well. There are many benches along the walkway and water as well as a few pavilions. It is quite close to Downtown Holland. Highly recommend!

Aesthetically pleasing both during the day and at sunset. It does get dark Im the parking lot area. Everywhere else is relatively well lit.

I love being so close to the waterfront. Its such a unique experience for a park. The kids love it!

Kollen Park has always been a wonderful place to go for a walk, to put your boat in the water, to fishing, to have a picnic, to listen to concerts, and to bring your children to play. Now it has the added bonus of many large trees providing huge shaded areas where different groups can safely gather and visit during these Covid-19 days. Its wonderful to see so many people taking advantage of this smart way of being together and being safe.

Went here for some fishing. Probably a good spot but definitely get here early. They line up down the walkway to fish. My husband caught a decent size fish at the end of the night. Will come back again and try a little earlier

Its our chill out place to go. We can watch the water, boats, gulls, or just stare into space. Good place to just let the world go by.

Nice family time lakefront park

Great fishing off the Macatawa River. Full sized boat launch, along with a long trailed sidewalk that goes pretty much the whole way across the park border along the river. Plenty of room to fish even if its busy. Not too weedy either, good place to use lures.

I understand because of Rona the bathrooms are closed, but there are outhouses which are covered in poo. It would be nice to just have the normal bathrooms open and let the people decide if they want to use them. The park itself is great.

Kollen Park has a great view with a beautiful area for kids to play. It is one of the shining locations in Holland. Would absolutely recommend you visit here!

Great place to hike and fish.

This is a nice clean large park. Theres a very walking path along the waters edge with plenty of benches along the way. Theres a nice picnic area and a large childrens playground area. Its between a very nice public boat on one end, a very nice restaurant on the other end that also sets right next to the water, all of this is accessible by boat as well. I must say the city Holland does a very good job keeping their parks clean and maintained.

Trash barrels were filled beyond capacity and trash was blowing everywhere, it was a beautiful day to be by the water.

It was nice and a fun time with my wife we eat lunch and gave the left overs to the birds it nice to watch the boats and water and birds and there was young kids playing in the park it was nice to watch the kids at play but yet bad when you think back and say (when i was young i could do that to) man i am to old!!!

Good place to go and hang out with friends. Lot of grass area and picnic tables.

Great day and night fishing!!Great boat ramp and Kyak launch, automated boat ramp passed at Kiosk.Nice childrens playground, black top walking paths and a restaurant call Boat Works in walking distance next to the park to get food as drinks with a patio to enjoy the summer hot days. There is a water fountain in the park as well. The city hosts concerts inn the park as well. Enjoy the Summer!!!

Love what they have done to the park over the years. Beautiful trees are still maintained and flowers look beautiful too. Statues and a fountain have been added and a ramada over some of the picnic tables makes it nice to shelter from the Sun and rain.

Fun park with a great play structure for kids of all ages. Didnt feel too crowded with a large camp of kids there. The layout made it easy for my wife and I to watch our 3 kids play without worrying about them running off in one direction or another.The walk along the water was very pretty and the park seemed clean. Wed definitely go back if were in the area!

It is a nice park, however it smelled and we found 7 dead catfish in the water.

I love this park/lake, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Parking goes fast so come early. They have boating docks and a eating area for family bbq, parties and just to hang out and enjoy some time with family and friends or some me times. You cant go wrong with this park. Enjoy

Beautiful. Loved the scenery. People are friendly. We were the first one to order dominoes pizza for a lunch picnic. Great! Biking, dog walking, nice long stroll, options in nearby dining as well. Memorable. Great for background pictures.

Excellent park for the whole family. It has a really neat playground, walking paths along the water and a bandstand.

Nice scenery, and factories are out of sight. Beautiful nature, such as flowers growing from the cracks of the canal side pavement walks. I love to see the cute little bees. The fountain is pretty cool. Lots of opportunities for photos. Playground is fun. Very fun to bike through and take walks.

Great park! Plenty of room for my boys to ride bikes, and a big grass hill to go fast on! Five stars if it was a little bit cleaner. But overall awesome place!

Beautiful place to relax and just catch your breath at the end of the day

Great place for an afternoon, evening, or all day experience. Play area for children, pavilions with handicap accessible tables, grills, lots of area for playing frisbee or football, fishing, and lots of just plain fun. Great area for riding bikes also. Wonderful for dogs as long as owners remember to keep them on a leash and to pick up after them. Nice place to mingle with people or to just sit and be by yourself.

A great place to stroll on the wonderful boardwalk. The fishing is very popular. Nice playground. Pets are welcome. The Friday night concerts are free. Just bring a blanket or lawn chair. Tables are provided for picnicking.

Nice wheel chair accessible play structure that is a little run down. But, has big beautiful pavilion with nice big grills. Large grassy area and is situated next to the river and nice restaurant. Also has a boardwalk to walk along the river and even up to the restaurant for convenience sake.

Kollen park is a nice area to visit. There is a large grassy area for activity and picnics and there is also a pavillion area for covered get to gathers. Kollen park also has a playground, swing set, tire swing. They also have seasonal bathrooms as well as Port o Johns. There is also a lakefront walk way with seating. Inside the park is also a covered auditorium where the children can explore and play and hang out. And they also have scheduled concerts through out the spring, summer, and fall.

Very pretty park right by the water. They have a large play stature for kids to play on as well as the view of lake Mac so you can watch boats cruising by as well. Public bathrooms are clean and well maintained.

Nice August day. Looking for a walking area around the Lake. Found the Heinz walkway and Kollen Park on Google. It was just lovely! Awesome views of the Lake and a very nice scenic walk by the Lake and park. Nice playgrounds for kids and a short walk to Boatwerks restaurant if that is desired. Not crowded or noisy.

This is a very well-maintained park.Nice place for a picnic in the summer.Decent playground for the kids.The American legion band plays concerts in the bandshell on summer evenings.A nice quiet place to chill near lake macatawa the other 3 seasons.It gets pretty busy during tulip time and during fireworks. It is the best public place to watch fireworks in Holland.

Kollen Park is right on the water, has a fun hill and cool open grassy areas. The playground is always bustling with families. Theres a pavillion with picnic tables and grills. The concert series in the summer at the amphitheater is always a lot of fun. There is also a walk way along the water. Great park!
