Saw a comedy show here. Sound/lighting system are great. Great prices on snacks. Theatre itself is clean and well-maintained. Cupholders and great legroom on the comfy seats. Beer/drinks available. Friendly staff. The mens restroom is noticeably a bit tight on space.

Had a good time on a Saturday nite. Its really cool how they took a dieing theater and brought it back to life. Nice touch of brining in trib bands. Just good ole rock n roll 80s style. Keep up the good job guys. Good idea hope this sticks around for a long while.

Cool old theater that hosts movies and live music. We need more of that

Great use of an old movie theater turning it into an intimate music venue. Highly recommend checking it out if a scheduled act interests you. If you dont see one, maybe shoot em an email or call and request and see what they can do to get them there.

Comfy seats not too loud Everyone was nice They have adult beverages and the band Little Lover was the best!

Smaller venue but the sound was good. Parking was okay. Its on the street.

Nice place to see a show. Seating is comfortable and roomy. We seen Ryan Niemeyer, the comedian who placed 3rd on American Got Talent. He was better than I expected a really great show.

The art theatre is the perfect place to see a local show. Drinks are properly priced, the venue is large enough to hold 300+ people, the building is old but fairly well kept.

Absolutely love coming here for different concerts and shows. And they always have affordable prices and are big on peoples safety

Done so much in the last few years! I love that this small theater has been able to reinvent itself and stay open. Not too many single screen small theaters left out there. Support this one when you can. You will not regret it. Keep up the amazing work you guys are doing!

Great sound system and very clean!

The Art is spectacular. This warm setting provides a great view no matter where you’re seated. Although an arena may attract more popular artists, the Art is a place where magical performances occur. The intimacy is stronger here than most other venues in Chicagoland.

Nice venue, on the smaller side, but it is gorgeous inside. Concession Stand, pop up bar, and a friendly staff. The show I went to was a little dead, but that probably isnt the fault of the theatre. Bars around the area for drinks as well.

Great place, but bring back Rocky Horror Picture Show!

Layout is tight, from the aisles down to the stage, area to purchase alchohol, the band merch area to the bathrooms. Which I might add were backed up and overflowing all evening.

Clean place with a friendly staff.. I enjoyed the lights and sound system.. definitely will recommend this place..

Quaint atmosphere. Has movies, concerts, and comedy. Pop & popcorn have free refills. Very reasonably priced. Alcohol also served for the adults.

Great older theater. Nothing ornate or fancy, but good place to see live bands. First theater Ive been to with a bar in the last several rows where the seat used to be! Smaller movie screen but its not that large.

The Little Lover concert was a night Ill never forget. Having a waitress serve me while sitting in my comfortable seat was a big plus! I havent been to the Art since I was a teen. Ill be back! I would have given it 5 stars if the price at the door wasnt so high. Lower that price and you will sell out! Great venue!

Awesome historical theatre. Prices are great! The interior murals are fun. Great live performance of Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday nights as well.

Quant place to see live music

Five stars, but mainly because its a one of a kind locally owned theater. Lots of cool events go on here, movies are cheap, and the interior is kept in pretty good shape. Worth a visit.

Stubbornly inaccessible to people with disabilities after a full renovation. Menu makes Chucky Cheese look like fine dining. A great deal if you stick with a movie and popcorn. And, of course, dont come in a wheelchair, especially if you might need to pee.
