We have lived here 2 years now and I wouldnt live in any other park. We have a beautiful place and good neighbors. This is the 1st place me and my kids have felt safe in along time. Laura is a great person and both her and Patty have helped me and my family many times, I am truly grateful 67The maintenance guys are awesome too.

The area I live in is nicer and has mostly newer trailers. The managment has trouble getting back to me, and you must keep reminding them you need something. If you need repairs they might say that you need a part. They will leave. You need to set another appointment to make sure the part gets put in. And sometimes you never see the handymen and you have to keep setting up new appointments.

They are hard to get ahold of when you need work done on the trailer.

Have grandchildren living there big improvement. Diffinetly more trailers kept up even under the worse situation like today. A bad fire but all emergency firefighters were on the scene with in minutes. My granddaughter made the call to the fire department . About trailer on fire. I heard there was a fatality too. May God watch over the rest of the family .who were in that trailer.

The Manager and staff at Ravinia Pines are very courteous and professional. A great experience.

The experience that my family has had at this place has been sub standard the past 3 years since we moved in when I was 14. The drive in started cracking weeks after they laid it, and the trailer was made of shoddy and cheap materials that broke down after the first year. The inspections that they said would happen every year in the contract never did happen, despite us asking the office about them. That was fine though, my parents were just moving in for a couple of years till my we saved up enough to buy the house that we recently moved into. We were excited to move and although it was difficult we managed to just recently get all of our stuff out of the trailer. What happened today though is the reason I am posting this review. We had to have the park manager, who after reading other negative reviews about her, I found her name to be Laura, come into the trailer to just check that everything was moved out and in working order. My mother went to do this with my grandmother while I went with my grandfather and moved some boxes from storage. After finishing that I went home and called my mom and learned what occurred. Laura went around the house taking pictures and everything which was fine as my mom did the same thing, but after that her behavior turned vile. She started to complain about the walls and how some parts of them had culk on it. They did, the wall behind the doors, although it had a stopper on it was made of incredible weak almost cardboard like wood and busted a couple months into our stay. We tried to get into touch about the front office about this but we never got anything back. My mom pointed out as much and then the lady started talking about the flooring and how bad of a shape it was. It wasn’t in terrible state merely discolored, and thus surprising that it was just that, as the flooring was so cheap. They probably bought it for a dollar a square foot or less. She started to talk about how we were gonna have to fix it and how it was more then our security deposit and she called my mom a slob. My grandmother got sick of her behavior and started telling her how terribly mean and unprofessional she was. My mother agreed and the lady got truly cruel and called my mother and grandmother fat heifers, lazy b****, and scum. They left soon after that and I do think that my grandmother, who does not live in the trailer park is gonna pursue this disgrace in a legal matter as she has a lawyer friend on call and when I saw her she was so mad. When my mother told me about this I had a hard time believing that such unprofessional behavior could come from someone who manages hundreds of people at a Ravinia Pines, but I’m assured that it did happen and I’m left frankly confounded, upset, and frustrated that such an event happened. My mother did not deserve to be treated this way and we left that house in excellent condition despite how easily breakable it was we always took care despite being six in a three bedroom trailer. This all happened today hours before I wrote this and I’ve looked online everywhere for someone to get in contact with to file a complaint but the only contact information that’s on the internet at all is Ravinia Pines Manufacturing Community is the for the lady that runs the place. It is also the very same lady that said those things to my mother. I eventually decided to tell what happened here so that people can see it and maybe they don’t have to deal with the same thing in the future cause this changed their mind. I don’t know why this happened but I do hope that it doesn’t happen again. I would give this review no stars if I could her behavior is not even worth one star.

Please dont move here. Id rather live in a car under a bridge. I dont even know where to begin. These arent even petty issues. Ive had a sink hole for 3 years here and they refuse to repair it... but can easily install new trailors. We now have cattails and probably malaria because stagnant water makes mosquitoes. This is just one of the problems other than the 6 stabbings last year.

Some of the places are in need of some serious repair but I see a great deal of potential in the properties. Very quiet place.

Very few rental units available and those are 2 bdrm or more for $650 a month nothing meaningful included. Lot rental if you own a mobile is $450 a month and that is for NO WORK on their part, no utilities. Prices are outrageous.No attempt to provide housing for single people or seniors. This is one of the many places in NWI that does NOT provide affordable housing.Shame on them.

They burned down the first place I lived in.lot24. whats happened more than one time. And insurance coverage from the past can prove it.. Then I had t to sell lot 629.georgia Which I sold to Spartan LLC I never got part of my money even though I called them many times and texted them manys.times.. even months ahead of time before I moved to explain the reasonings why I had to get the hell out of there. fast.. Because of a violent neighbor.. and management did nothing about.. never got back my security deposit on either... Absolutely a bad place and so are all the drug addicts and people that borrow money or have people do things and dont pay them.... Dont like the management and dont like the people.

Park has lot of school age kids which is ok, & 15 mph speed limits? & a bunch of 45 mph drivers & Nothing is Done to Stop them speed bumps? Yeah right not helping! & alot of trailers broken windows & boarded up trailers too. The park needs a few more crew, not just two men, doing everything under the sun, and watch out for the person thats goes & crys to park manager? There are alot of good people living there, but no matter where you go? Youll come across a Bad Apple...

Close to Lake George, and Lake Michigan, love the convenience of highways, stores to shop, the river for boating, bike trails.Thanks to our Regional Manager Laura, who obtained our home and a beautiful place to enjoy. Great yard too! Enjoy the park here also. Love our new Church. Assumption Church of the BVM.

This used to be a nice park until new ownership of park,I hear you pay for your own water because you have water meter on your property now.Glad I got out when I did, neighborhood went in the toilet

Man when i first moved here, i heard lots of bad stuff about this place! But in all i had absolutely no problems. I cant speak on how bad the maintenance people are because nothing was ever wrong with my house! I literally just pay my rent every month and thats that! I dont see how people get so personal on here! Just pay ur rent and no problems! I give it a 5 star because i never had problems in the 2 years i was here.. A fortunately I have to leave!! Im going to miss paying my 800 a month!! Lol and ALSO! WHEN I FIRST MOVED HERE! THEY GAVE ME 2 MOMTHS RENT FREE AND THEY PRICING IS UN BEATABLE!!

Love it!! Laura and Patti in the office are great! If it werent for Laura we wouldnt have moved here.We could have somewhere else but after meeting Laura we knew this is the place for us....shes the BEST! I didnt get the one that I wanted but ours is still nice.

My friend lives here. She moved in a few months ago. She was told shed have ac before it got hot. 2 weeks of almost 100 degrees and still no ac. They keep making excuses. Plus she has a small baby.

We have lived here several years. We bought a new home last year from the new owners. We have had nothing but great experiences with Laura in the office. She helped us pick out a home that we wanted. The process was quick and efficient. She works with anyone who wants to buy a home! The maintenance crew has really mad a drastic change for the better with the community. It is looking cleaner and better each week.

Thank you Laura and the maintenance crew for getting me into my new home in less than a week. My wife and family could not be more happy. My wife has referred 2 of our friends that have now moved into the community so we get 2 free months now. They have a great move in special and referral program. We picked the 2 free months for our move in special. We dont have to pay for 4 months now.

My neighbors all have older homes and said you gave them free paint for their homes and sheds. I have never heard of a place doing this before for anyone. To us that shows you care about your park and the people who live there. I’m so happy we did not move into another park. You worked so hard to make our dream come true now we have a home. Thank you Laura. We’ve been in our home now for about 3 months all our friends and family love it. They can’t believe how nice it is. Thank you to the maintenance guys they are unbelievably nice.

Terrible office staff. Been here 6 months and was told to give them a list of stuff that was wrong in our BRAND NEW trailer. Gave them the list 2 weeks after we moved in and they still havent fixed anything. They never answer their phones. Pay extremely too much for water. Trailers are way too close together. Always cops on the neoghborhood.

Nice really large trailer park good price rent I think its around $400 a month theres also usually trailers for sale by owner also Im not sure if the park itself has any for sale or not I would think so but I know for sure theres some for sale by owner otherwise seems like a decent park for a fair price

Ravinia Pines is the premier mobile home community in the Lake Station, New Chicago, Hobart area. Featuring an outdoor park and new and prowned mobile homes Ravinia Pines is a good place to stay for the area. Since changing from Pine Village there has been some renovations, while maintaining the Pine Village nostalgia.

Very unprofessional office staff. They hardly answer the phone. You leave a message and then you dont get a call back most of the time! SMH at this Park!

Dont do it, just avoid at all costs. Fell for their free trailer promotion. For starters we didnt get the one that we had applied for but actually an older smaller unit, so strike one, but we didnt want to rent anymore so figured it would still be a better option. We get there make all the repairs and the parks repairmen were trying to get us to let them do side work on the trailer. Then the nonsense started with fines and fees. So we moved out, when we moved out the parks management called us up and told us we owed rent and so forth which we agreed to, we never argued that at all. Well instead of letting us know what we owed she took us to court for it. All around a bad place to live, if it were different management it wouldnt be so bad but with current management its just going to get worse.

Ive lived here almost a year, had some issues with my first home and the girls in the office went out of there way to help me more then they had to. Definitely one of the best mobile home communities around!!!

Tried to rent a trailer from here, even offered cash to get in. They said we couldnt do it because the trailer wasnt ready. A week later I called back about it and they said someone beat us to it. Dont deal with these people, theyll screw yo over.
