Peaceful place to walk with your dog. Some nice views and meadow walks. Beware of slippery spots where leaves have gathered or its wet.
A great walk or trail jog. Bonus: the perimeter and blue trails are maintained a foot off the path, meaning you can walk this trail without much tick fear (but *always* do a tick check after any hike anyway!) The perimeter is about 1 mile, maybe 1.2— you could do two laps and a cut over on blue to make a 5k. Lots of nice wooded areas interspersed with skirting the edges of fields. A few nice views. I had the whole park to myself.
Many trails to explore, nice views
Wonderful place, built by volunteers over the years. Great for views, a good hours walk or trail running and its dog friendly. And a secret delight for rough xc skiing if ever theres decent snow pack.
Nice early successional habitat, reclaimed farmland with a scenic old barn still standing, meadows, and edge forest. Nice place to bird watch. Unfortunately, completely overrun with invasives like buckthorn and honeysuckle - worst of all, poison parsnip has taken over the fields, and grows directly into the mowed meadow trails. I do not visit in summer for this reason: beware.
My pups just, love the trails and so do I
Simple, quiet and uncrowded.
This is a community park. A plethora of people use this as a dog park. All I can say is watch where you are stepping
