My Daughter had her birthday party there and everything was nice they have new arcade games and also improved the ones they had. The DJ was bomb as always and nothing but good vibes. Masks stayed on! Pizza is delicious!

Very ghetto and too crowded! No ins or outs even at a birthday party. Thats crazy! They still have the same skates to rent since the 80s. Please upgrade your business.

I remember going to this place all the time as a kid when my mom use to work there. I love how they remodeled the place an try to make prices affordable for families. I wouldve gave 5 stars but the pizza is not good at all. It will remind you if frozen 7-11 pizza they take out an quickly warm up.

Havent been here in years...still the same. Only thing..I noticed the little floor is closed off now. Im assuming for birthday parties only. The music was nice and so was the atmosphere. Lots of teenagers though. As long as my crew has fun, which they did. Well be returning again. Oh and the staff was very pleasant...from the admission booth to the security guards.

Adult skate night was fun.Parking lot not well lit enough for at night. Had a man walk up to me as I was getting in my car, asking for money. As a woman by myself, this did not feel safe. Told the door attendant, but he acted like he could care less.Ladies, be careful.

My grandson Brent...11th birthday party was awesome! For safety reason remove your hat I had too and my hair was jacked...its all about the kids. Bring it back too good times...Skate Palace...the coordinator was wonderful along with the hostesses!

Great music, friendly staff. Plenty of people that will take the time out teach you the basics, if the see that youre having a hard time! The restroom could be cleaner though. Other than that its a great time.

Its definitely in a not so friendly neighborhood. Where its located the inside is very nice. I wish theyd play different music. The food was ok. We had chicken wings which seemed very soggy under fried breading. The pizza was decent.

My favorite place to roller skate since I was a kid. Check out the after school skate from 3 to 8. Get there early to beat the crowd.

It was a good place to take your kids for a family outing. The only reason Im taking a star away is because its a little too price compared to other skating rinks Ive been too and you have to pay again if you have to step away from the noise for a minute.

This place is good for SKATING ONLY! Used to go here as an elementary school student and more than 20 years later nothing has changed except the employees. One of the games wasn’t working properly. I spoke to a manager (the one with the nappy blond wig & long dumb fake eyelashes) and she refused to add more credits to my card for my son.

It was cool had fun. Kids had fun. Good music. Dj was nice. but the pizza sauce and crust could be better. Also my husband was going to get the wings but he noticed no one else was ordering wings so they either was nasty or cost to much.. But i am going back. Just not for the food...

There was no social distance if they had a capacity limit u couldnt tell u couldnt hardly moving around. People with no masks on smh u wouldnt have thought it was a pandemic going on. I had to go outside because I was having anxiety looking at all those people! My child 1st time & last!!!!

This place needs a complete overhaul. The floors look disgusting. No sanitizer stations set up for people to use considering the situation we are faced with. I thought theyd be well prepared since it was crowds of people there. The skates look like the same ones they had when I was a teenager going there. I really wish businesses would put money in there facilities so the atmosphere would be more appealing to look and be at.

If you need to skate, fine. But food, cleanliness, atmosphere is all trash. They havent cleaned since the 90s. And dont go for a kid party, all the music is inappropriate.

Everything is cool, I been going here for years of my childhood. But the employees have always been all over the place; they continue switching positions, their costumer service is bad.

This place dont deserve one star. This place is a hot mess. I didnt get what I paid for. They ran out of food. We were rushed out of the building after only being there for an 1 1/2. Its old and outdated. I will never come back to this place ever again. Save your money and go somewhere better then this hole in a wall.

I cant say enough about how much fun I had. This place has been around for a long time and theyve maintained their standards. The only negative for me was that instead of using both skate floors, one for beginners and the other for more confident skaters, they turned the second floor into party space. So everyone from beginners to advanced skeetersare on the same floor. Separating the beginners from the advancedis what set this place apart from all the other rinks. The beginners use skate helpers and everyone has to navigate around them. But all in all a good time.

Nice skating facility but was very crowded when I went. It did not look like they were operating at only 50% capacity like they advertised.

The place can use some renovations/upgrades. Theres always a staff member on the floor helping to keep the flow moving and assisting little ones if need be. The party area was clean and well kept as well. All in all everyone had a nice time!

I came here on Sunday (adult night, my preferred time to go skating) with a friend and was pleased. They can add a little more hip hop and contemporary R&B to the playlist. It was really hot in here. Dont know if that had to do with it being summer, but it still took no time to break out into a sweat in here. Some updated air conditioning would be nice.

We had a great time and the birthday boy enjoyed himself very much.

Went to the gospel skate, music was good, floor is great. They need a kids rink. I have a bruise from falling over a girl who skated slow on the outside wall. Too many kids with those contraptions in the way...deep sigh

The food is delicious and healthy, the staff, always gives a proper greeting. When your food is ready a staff member brings it to you where ever you are in the store. I recommend if you are in the area please visit. It seems peaceful and pleasent.

Unfortunately our host was NON EXISTENT during the duration of the party. Food arrived late, she was talking with her co workers. In and out of the kitchen with no hair covering, employees eating in the kitchen while preparing food as if they are in their own kitchen highly confuses me. I swore if they invested in new carpet and paint they could truly become a place in the community. Unfortunately it is teenagers and young adults with no experience. Overall my son had a blast because he skated the entire time and was with his friends.

I will say the person who advertises is consistent. I always get emails about deals. They should come in the community and target the nearby DC & MD schools for events.The food is just ok. The chicken tenders needs a different brand, theyre not good.

I had a bday party for my daughter recently at Crystals and the staff was amazing. I especially want to highlight Lorraine. She had multiple parties to attend to but we couldn’t tell. She remained helpful, attentive, and overall brought a good vibe. We all enjoyed our time at Crystals

Just Had A Party Here Today It Was Terrible No One Was Assisting Us With anything we needed payed 280$ for A party pack they gave us one set of plates and no folks or spoons which I was told everything was gonna be setup! It wasnt! Everything was misplaced and out of order They ranned out of pizza had us wait for a whole hour! Pizza finally Came and we was rushed out of the facility when I first came it a security guard told me I couldnt bring in no outside candy which was for the kids candy bags so I gave him my bag of candy! Once everything was over and we was being rushed out I went to ask for the candy and was told one of the employees gave it to somebody else I was highly upset and plus The kids really wanted Thier candy! I do not recommend birthday parties here! It was Terrible and I wasnt the only birthday customer that was complaining!

Got there on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm. Not too crowded and there was quite a bit of room on the skating rink even with kids skating around. Nice sized rink, but could use some TLC - mostly removal of old gum on the floor. They also had skating in the reverse direction, girls only, and boys only skating which I remember having as a kid. Hip hop and rap music to skate to, but the speakers made my ears ring by the time I was done skating. Good, cheap fun and a great workout too!

If you want to find a roller rink in the DC Metro area, Temple Hills Skate Palace is near the DC/MD line and directly across the street from the Naylor Rd Metro Station making it great for Metro accessibility. Regarding the quality of the rink, it is close to 40 years old, but has had a few upgrades over time. As an advanced and frequent skater, the SKATE FLOORS are not the best.The main floor is the only one that is used for skating and it is often dirty with very little traction. Sundays (Adult Night 21 and older) is the night for advanced and adult skaters, along with Thursday nights. On Sundays (for the most part) the music is the same as its been for the past 30 years and lacks variety in upbeat tracks. With a few exceptions, nearly every song is slow enough to be a couples skate song. Stormin Norman is the DJ with the Boomin System who brings his own portable sound system, but I find his sets boring. The main reason that I go is because I love to skate and dont have many options, especially during the winter season. Sunday is also the night when more experienced skaters come out and you dont have to worry about kids falling all over the place and people using skate walkers. LOCKER SPACE is limited. They have a small section available near the skate rental booth and a few larger lockers near the front, but the ones near the front dont appear accessible. So skate with your valuables or leave them in your trunk if you cant lock them up. Do not leave your nice sneakers or shoes where they are visible or unsupervised. Most people are decent, but there are people who wont hesitate to steal other peoples belongings. Ive witnessed children and adults having to leave the rink after their shoes were stolen. That is never good, so be mindful when youre having fun. The BATHROOMS are typical of many skating rinks. Do what you have to do and get out! FOOD. I dont buy or eat it. I stick with bottled beverages like water and Gatorade. At the end of the day, skaters skate and make the most of it.

I went Skating with my daughter and her friends and Mr. Rob made sure we had a great time. My children talked about how much fun they had with Mr. Rob.I just wanna say thanks a lot and keep up the great work I really appreciate the attention and interactions you do with everyone!!!

I went to a kids birthday party at this location. Its a place for kids and/or adults who likes to skate. (*I dont*). I noticed that It has a very large parking lot, good seating space and get a lot of patronage. They could use more lighting at night for the parking lot. But otherwise it looks like a place to have fun day or night.

Had a ball with the kids even though I didnt skate. The food that I got (chicken wings & fries $12.50) not good! All of it was over cooked they give less than a handful of fries and 5 party wings..... Not worth the money. Also you pay $3 even if you dont skate.

Took my daughter for her 13th birthday. We had a great time. The service was with a smile. The facilities are a tad run down, but this is by far still the best roller rink in Northern VA/DC area. Please note that outside food is not allowed unless you pay a $30 fee. You can bring your own cake though.

My sons school PTA hosted a Skate Night and my family had a blast on a Thursday night. Rob was gave us our skates with a side of jokes... lol he was super friendly and kind to the kids. My son fall and hurt himself and Rob who was then on the floor monitoring the kids rushed in to help him! I will definitely be back! Thank you Rob for ensuring my family had a great time!

With younger kids go on Sunday. A great deal, fun, stepping back with in time. On Saturday night, teens and young adults skate fast and with Grace. Crowded and interesting. Definitely worth a visit. Also for little guys, they have rolling pvc stands that help kids keep their balance.

I had so much fun at my besties birthday!

We had a nice time. The atmosphere was great, excellent vibe. With the birthday package I purchased, it said there would be a host assigned to us. That, did not happen! I was introduced to our hostess but she wasnt around or attentive. Various staff members assisted with our drinks and food. I feel that you are given a lot to drink and tokens with the package. The pizza is NASTY!! The decorations and papers supplies were very nice. If, they would allow you to bring in your own food, Id purchase another birthday package. They do allow you to bring in your cake and extra decorations. My children really enjoyed themselves.

Severely understaffed, unclean, staff was not knowledgeable in policies, they were very unorganized. My brother was told that he couldn’t take pictures and the “manager” was not accommodating at all.

Went for skate lessons with my son. I was surprised by the number of people and the wide range of ages. There were groups for kids, adults and, advanced skaters learning dance moves. I had fun and would go again.

Prefer Seabrook Skating Rink. Not well kept. Rental skates in bad shape. Rink is located in a strip shopping center. Was called Krystal Skate a long time ago. Kids loved it, they just wanted to skate. Good music!

My job took our Kindergarten class here today and had THE BEST TIME EVER! Mr. Rob went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves!

There was so much confusion at the start of our party and we were NOT permitted to come inside 15 minutes early to prepare as was suggested by the facility. Guests were not informed that the adults needed wristbands which was a headache. We had to constantly ask for cups so that the adults may have drinks as well. Plates were not provided for the adults although we ordered food for them also as part of our package. Our food came out Immediately after the start of our party (before the children even got a chance to skate). This meant that children returning to the party area were met by cold pizza that had been sitting there for who-knows-how-long. The hostess, who was sparse, could have alleviated a lot of stress by explaining to guess about the wristbands, where to get skates/skate mates and such. The hostess also placed the cotton candy Tower darn near Inside Of the birthday cake causing a frenzy of children to reach over my childs head and her cake. Guests at the party were not even aware that we had a host so all questions and requests were directed to me which caused me to have to run around, find our hostess and relay the messages... Stressful... Id say I spent 80% of my time running back & forth assisting our guests rather than enjoying the time with my daughter like we paid for.

Though I didnt skate, I enjoyed watching the people that did. It was very entertaining and the music was popping.

Its okay but hope to see that the property management and owners take pride in the appearance and curb appeal. Its important, its your business.

The extra charges for everything are a bit excessive. The cafe is mad slow, but Monica in the cafe was pleasant and positive. She’s the reason this isn’t 2 stars. I grew up coming to this rink, wishing it was a bit more efficient at the door and cafe.

I took a client there to skate on a Tuesday morning. I checked the website to make sure the establishment would be open. It was suppose to open at 10. I caught the bus and the train from upper northwest just to get there and it was closed. I absolutely despise this place the service to get the food is like an 1 hour wait don’t come here it would be a waste of money.

I don’t like that they wanted me to take off my hat and said I couldn’t wear it while skating that and not locking my stuff up had me a little anxious. It was also a bit crowded and with very small children too. It could’ve been better.
