This is my kids favorite splash pad. We go a couple times a week. We pack a lunch and enjoy being in the water on a hot summer day. This is a popular spot so plan for it to be crowded.
Fun water pad with a little play stream. It doesnt open until 10 am. It seems like a Mecca for local families. So many children! There are sort of lifeguards monitoring the area with opinions but they didnt bother us.The water turns off every hour for a potty break... Im not sure how effective that was. I just heard moms say Play in it now without the water. It was free and fun. Good for an hour of fun if you are in the area. But do bring a swimsuit and sun block as there is limited shade. People actually brought beach umbrellas.BTW the library is across the street if you want to go there first.
Love this splash pad, except for the fact that it says it closes at 8pm and they shut the water off at 7:35. We were there for 5 minutes before the water shut off on us. I understand the mandatory 10 minute water shut offs every hour! However, saying it closes at 8 should mean the water shuts off at 8 so people don’t come at 7:30.
Really great splash pad. There is not only a splash pad, but also a river which adds even more water possibilities for playing. A water fall feature at the top makes it look awesome. There is grass and benches all around for seating. The trees are still young but do provide decent shade here and there. There is also a bathroom and drinking fountain.
Great place. Lots of fun and no deep water. Open public area. Sometimes the water does shut off for a while (15 minutes or so) so thats the only reason Id give it 4 stars. Safe enough as well, just be mindful of your surroundings and others.
We enjoy going here each Halloween with our grandkids to enjoy the carved pumpkins, talking ghosts, and hot chocolate.
Excellent sk8 spot
This is a fun splash area for little kids. I love the river along with the fountains. The grass is well maintained which was nice for us to sit on while the kids played.
Great place for families, especially young kids. River is fantastic, safe and fun. Splash pad is great. Park is quiet and safe. Grounds are well kept.
Great splash pad. It can get crowded, but there is a decent amount of room for the kids to play. There isnt a playground or pavilions right in the space, but there is another park a short walk away (across the street) that does. There are a handful of trees, but there isnt a ton of shade, so you might want to bring your own.
This place is awesome, especially with little kids. Its crowded most days in the summer so its better to go early or in the later afternoon. Just keep in mind at 2:40 ish they turn off the water for a whole hour so avoid that time. Overall a great place with both a river and water fountains.
Great little park.
Such a fun water park. My kids love that they can play in the water but don’t have to be splashed by the water
This is a free splash pad, and its close to home. There is a lot of lawn to set up a canopy, chairs, or just sit in the ground with a towel or blanket. There are trees to provide shade, but you have to be quick or those places get taken fast! There is a shallow river and the concrete pad where the water comes up as fountains. We bring water toys like water guns and buckets. The water is turned off every day around 2:40 and is off for an hour to allow for filtering. There is no playground here, just the splash pad.My kids live it and its a great summer spot!
It was nice, but it was small. The bad part about it was that the water shut down at 7:35, 20 mins before it was posted that it closing, which was supposed to be 8 pm.So just preparing that next time, that is when they shut off the water. The nice part was that there was alot of space to sit and grass space to run around for kids.
Its really nice! I feel they made it to look pretty and then added water as an afterthought. Other splash pads Ive been to are more fun (have more colorful shooters and fountains, etc) but this one is fun and nice.
Nice splash pad with tons of room for people to hang out on the grass or play in the water.
I wish we had one like this in our city in Wyoming. It is beautiful to look at and the kids had a blast. I loved that there was a lot of seating that was shaded by trees that I could keep an eye on my older boys but still able to nurse the baby and stay out of the sun.
We walk around the area, but dont bring our kids to the splash pad much because it is basically the thunderdome during high season. Parents need to watch their kids.
One of the best places to take you little ones during summer
One of the best splash pads around. Kids love it.
Cute natural looking water feature as well as a sprinkler like water feature
Great park with shade and water for the kids to play. The river is nice for older kids to play in. The hard thing about this splash pad is that the water is off for more than an hour starting before 3 pm. Its annoying they cant just turn it off every hour for 10-15 minutes. Just something to remember so you dont show up and it is about to turn off.
We really like the fenced in splash pad, be prepared though, there isnt much shade.
Fun place, looked like no restrooms
Fun! Easy to watch your kids. And there is shade!!
Love this splash pad! Lots of grass close enough to the water that you can watch your little ones. Its great for all of us!
My kids love playing in the river splash area. We just wish it was open on Sundays
Our little one had a blast here. Not only do they have the fountain squirting up from the ground, but they also had a little man-made Creek to splash around in. The mature trees provided nice shade to watch from. A great place to play!
So much fun for the little ones
Beautiful place
This place is great for young and old. Theres water to just stand in that flows like a river and a spray pad.
Great place to take your kids to cool off in the summer.
Who designed this place? Making the water come out of the rocks so the kids climb on them and slip and fall. And who thought it was a good idea to put such a slippery stone surface right next to the water so when the kids get out they slip and fall even more?
I make the drive from Provo to Sandy just for this park. Its great! Its better than Highlands splash pad. The shade is wonderful for the care gives. The shallow areas are perfect for the babies.
Very clean and safe play area for the kids right in the middle of town! Busy at peak times, but manageable. The water turns off every half hour or so for about 10 minutes, though this helped to get the kids dried off to head home. The river is a fun addition to the normal splash pad experience.
Fun splash pad
Great skate spot
Great fun for all ages. The water drs8ins each hour and the refills. Very nice, even has a restroom!
Very fun place to take the kids on a hot day. Lots of places to sit and watch the kids play.
It was fun but the need to allow kids to go behind the bars
Great idea, but frustrated with the timer. I dont know how it works, but every so often the water goes off for the kids to have a potty break. As in, all the water drains from everywhere. I seem to always hit it at the wrong time. Its super fun when the water is on though. I just have multiple times of waiting 40 minutes for it to turn back on and giving up on the whole thing. Be aware, there are a lot of sharp rocks. Rocks+ slippery water= not the best combination.
This is a neat little park. Its fun for little kids.
Our favorite place on summer afternoons
Fantastic, could use more shade or a pavilion, but tons of fun for the kids!!
This is a fun facility, but our fun was cut short when the water features were shut off.
Great splash pad and river for all ages.
Fun for young kids to run, jump off rocks and splash. Water turns off at 7:42 pm.
Such a fun place to take the kids. We had a picnic on the grass and then had fun in the water after. We love the little River here and the seperate area for the splash pad. So fun.
Great splash pad. The kids loved it. Has a little river that runs through it with a grate at the bottom so they dont lose their toys.
Kids entertained for hours
All around family fun
Fun place great for kids. Splash pad, picnic, and playground.
Its a great fun place for the kids to play in the water.
All my kids enjoy this splash pad
Open, and fun. Safe, and worry free fun for kids. Plenty of shade.
Loved it! The kids had a great time.
Nice little oasis with a view!
Best splash pad in Utah County
Great park for your kids!
This is our favorite splash pad. Has a splash pad and river to play in great for kids of all ages and even parents to soak their feet and cool off
One of our favorite places to hang out. Often a little crowded, but the kids still have fun.
Fun water park
Great place to stop by for an hour or so.
This place gets crazy busy, but the kids love it!
Nice place
Have fun and get WET!
Kid heaven on a hot day!
We drove up from springville and got here and the water turned off and we have waited 30 min and the water is still off. Seems excessive time off for bathroom breaks
Perfect splash park to beat the heat!
Love going there with the kids
Such a fun spot
My kids love it
The water feature is made to be played in
Its OK
Fun
Awsome
Great place for children to play in the water.
Fun place but sometimes a bit crowded.
