Great place since the recent remodel.We try and go there at least twice a month. Love the new heated recliners.

The seats are amazing, they are reclining and heated. Not a cheap movie theater but the service was pretty good and the fancy drink machines with all the different options for sodas or lemonades.

Great place to go on a weekend night to enjoy time with your loved ones and family. I’m really glad they opened up this establishment. The location is great, and the staff is a tentative and the prices are reasonable. I’ve never had a problem with the cleanliness or the food here. They have a lot of good promotions on the popcorn buckets throughout the year which helped save on cost.

Employees are VERY helpful and truly do want you to have a good experience at their store. An example: i had bought some hamburger on sale that smelled just a little off when I opened it 6 days later. I returned it for a refund, they let me replace it with the next grade up, with apologies and no questions asked. If theres something youd like that they dont usually stock they will try to find it for you. They are also willing to set aside a product that is in high demand if you request it and let you know when its available

My family bought my movie Stubs7 A-List and I can see up to three movies a week and reserve the seat on line with out waiting inline. The theater in High Point has really nice seats that are almost to comfortable. I dont sleep well at home and I love watching movies. Heated seats that recline are really nice and they are spaced perfectly apart from one another. I believe AMC has the cleanest restrooms of any theater in the area. I appreciate the attention the staff give to this detail.

My son took me to see a movie for Christmas Day. Luckily he found a parking space after dropping me off up front, as I am disabled. There was a long line that we didnt have to get in, as he had purchased tickets online by smart phone. We breezed in, and watched the new Adam Sandler movie, very dramatic! Then we breezed out. One, two, three.Thoroughly enjoyed the film, the location and my sons company. Thank you for making such a happy memory! Sorry we didnt get the popcorn this time. We had late dinner plans for after the movie. It was a wonderful evening for us both. We will be back!

After the renovations you can really see where all of the money went to in improving the place! Its clean with a friendly staff and the new chairs can recline and even offer a heater feature - awesome theater and my wife and I are very grateful we just live right around the corner. Its our theater of choice!

Great seats but what I really dislike was the fact that they force you to stand in one line to buy tickets and concession. I had just come from dinner and did not was anything to drink or eat but was still forced to wait in a slow moving line behind people wanting to buy snacks. There should be a counter for people who simply want to buy a ticket and get in the theater.

Prices are much more reasonable than other theatres. The theater we were in was small. The heated reclining seats are awesome.

The theater was clean and the chairs were so comfortable. I didnt feel like I was squished in between other people either, I had plenty of personal space. I definitely recommend this theater.

This movie theater is my favorite and I will drive 20 minutes out of my way to get to it. I love the staff, the seats, the movies, and the popcorn. I love it and will be an AMC Premiere Stubs member until the end of time, lmao.

The theater is amazing its clean and cozy the seats were super freaking comfortable to the point where my friend who turned on seat heat by mistake actually fell asleep mid movie the sound quality is also good not too loud or too low so as experience in general its a 5 star place how ever as for expenses its definitely a 3 stars the price of a small fountain drink is about 6 dollars the large is 6 dollars and 70 cents if i can recall its super expensive thats why i give it a 4 star rating

Good seats but the buying of the tickets at the concession stands is extremely slow and non efficient. Something that really kind of irritated me was watching the manager to stand over the other employees instead of taking a register herself. Better yet they should staff accordingly so they can be someone at the ticket counter and people at the concession stands no reason there should be one line for everything makes no sense.

There was a lot of talking during the movie and you guys need more staff when its long lines but other then that it was wonderful!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Its a small AMC theater, but its better than most of its size. The seats are comfortable with high backs, reclining seats, and heated seats. The concessions are good, though pricey like every other chain. There are 2 coke branded dispensers. There are alcoholic drinks. The staff is great. Very friendly and they work hard considering the circumstances they have to work under. And this is where they fail to get the 5th star. Frequently the concession stand is woefully under staffed. There is the regular line and the premier line. If theres a popular movie, the lines are long and slow. When I went, there were 2 dozen people in the regular line and a dozen in the premier line. And only 2 cashiers. And because there was a major problem with a family in the premier line, that line was held 12 minutes while the lone manager tried to resolve it multiple times. People walked out due to the long wait. And unlike larger AMC theaters where you can simply scan your phone or QR code at the entrance, you have to wait in line to just get your ticket because theres no one manning the front ticket counter. And the AMC app is notoriously bad. I saw multiple people, including myself, who couldnt get the app to show the card or ticket. And when my ticket was scanned from the email, the printer couldnt print my ticket. Its a great place to see a movie. Once you actually get your ticket. Most of the issues here could be resolved if the owners did what the Charlotte locations do and have a separate ticket retrieval or scan area separate from the concession area. And I fail to see the point of a so called Premier line thats slower than the regular line. And fix the app!

Multiplex theater sobthere is always a choice. Movie rates are relatively low but the junk food is too high. This is a better experience than the Paladium.

The lobby was clean and the popcorn had just been popped. The cashier was super helpful in letting us change our seats because we had a friend with us. AMC really did a good job on the remodel. My friend bought the tickets yesterday and he let her give my phone number so I could get the points, since she doesnt have a card. This is my favorite theater.

Matinee ,. Crowded, long single line to concession stand. And tickets pick up are the same line. A lot of confusion where to go for pre order ticket redemption. No organization Al skills at management level. Theater is clean and completely remodeled. Offers reclining seats. Seating for this theater are assigned .

My family enjoyed our experience so much!! The staff was super accommodating with my family member that is extremely disabled. Its hard for my family member to go out because of her disabilities being so embarrassing to her. She was made to feel like she was more than just a disabled person but a valued customer! This is the first time we have gone to the High Point theater and it was dirty. The bathrooms were awful sticky on the floor and no tissue or paper towels. The popcorn was old. I took a family from out of town and was very embarrassed. The problem is it was a Sunday afternoon at 5 so thinking no cleaning was done from Saturday night. We enjoy the movies so please clean this up. Thank you

Went here on a Saturday after none and it was the first time I went to the movies in about 9 years. Oh my it was AMAZING. Heated seats, that i can lay back in, drink from the bar to enjoy will i watch a movie with popcorn. Just amazing. The staffing was super friendly the whole time which made the experience even better for me.

Every time we go, there’s always a line, which is fine, it’s expected but honestly the A-list/premier line and regular line doesn’t help AT ALL & just adds to the lines being so long.They really need one person handling that line and one or more handling the other (just my opinion)Tonight however 2/14/20 has by far been the WORST experience I’ve ever had.Bought our tickets online for the 7:15pm Birds of Prey showtime bc I knew there would be long lines and limited seating.Got there at 7:10pm, took my 3 kids to find our seats and told them to sit while I went to wait in line for popcorn/drinks/tickets. The line was to the door, but I waited.... 7:50 my son comes out to tell me the movie started and I was 3rd in line by then.I order 3 kids packs and a cup for water. Well they ran out of bags for the kids packs so I had to wait another 5 minutes for the manager to get more bags then another 5 or so minutes to get them filled - which the cashier took her sweet time to do even that, movie is already playing at that point.She forgot my cup for water so when I went to the counter to ask I was ignored by all 3 people standing there, so I said it a little louder “can I have a cup for water?” And stood there till they gave it to me, mind you I had already waited in line, waited for popcorn and was already irritated.My son and I walk to our seats, with my two other sons already sitting in their seats C 9, 10,And there’s a lady and her son sitting in our other two seats 11, 12!!!I was livid. She refused to move. Movie is already playing, my son and I standing in front of her, asking her to move.She had her tickets in her hand, and says “security told me to sit here”They don’t even have security there! What the actual f***k. So I tell my son to have a seat with his brother and go get the manager.The manager, I don’t even know her name. I was so upset I didn’t even ask. She is probably the only thing good about this whole situation. She verified my tickets thru my phone, walked with me into the theater, checked the other woman’s tickets and asked her to move to her correct seats.The lady knew they weren’t her seats to begin with, as she had the audacity to MOVE MY JACKET out of the seat. No one spoke up, although my sons said everyone looked confused to see her there with them but whatever, not the theatre’s fault.Honestly, after buying tickets online to avoid long lines, then waiting in line 35-40 minutes anyways for popcorn, missing the first 10-15 minutes of the movie and then to have my $40 seats taken and just so much fuss to see a movie, I really doubt I will go back there.The line itself is a PAIN. the people who are A-list stub members always turn their noses up and ALWAYS have something to say if they aren’t “next in line” regardless if everyone else has already been waiting 15+ minutes. It just doesn’t make sense.I’d much rather drive 15 minutes out of the way and go to the Palladium on Wendover for the convenience of shorter lines/wait times and SECURITY to enforce seating and tickets then to have to go through something like this every time I want to take my kids to the movies.I’m just not happy about what took place tonight at all. I thank the manager for helping me with the seating issue but to go through all that in one night was it for me.

The comfiest movie theater seats I have sat in at an AMC. I was pleasantly surprised by the theater based off of the exterior. David, Caleb, and Zack were efficient, attentive, and customer focused when I have interacted with them countless times at the Concession Stand. They have made my experience every time when I visit this AMC theater.

I went the other night to this movie theater. Around three years ago, I use to go every Friday night when it was around $1.00 to see a movie. The chairs were uncomfortable and the place needed a complete renovation. When I walked in the other night, I was shocked at how amazing it looked. Even had a bar! We walked into the room where our movie was playing and I was even more shocked! The seats are nicely separated from one another and the seats even RECLINE! The video quality was excellent. Usually in movie theaters to get to your seat you have to walk sideways. Not in this theater; youre able to walk between the seats as if youre walking down a sidewalk. I was very impressed with how amazing this place was and were going again this Friday evening. And the price was only $9.99.The only thing Id suggest is having some seats out in the lobby. We had arrived early and had to go sit in the car. But no big deal. I highly suggest going to see a movie here.

This is by far the best movie theater in the triad. Great seats with the chance to choose them from the app before you get there. No big lines if you are a member. I recommend it 100%

Good prices, nice theater with recliners, cool refreshment options that were not your standard pop corn and candy (although they had that too). Facility had been updated since the old days of Carmike 8, but bathrooms were still the same stinky mess, but with a new entrance route. Overall it was a fun kid friendly experience.

I absolutely love this place! From the fact that you can purchase your tickets online and actually reserve your seats ahead of time, to the amazing reclining seats (with optional heat) and extra wide aisles that make standing up or moving your legs aside for a fellow movie-goer to pass a thing of the past. The screens and audio are amazing as is the fact that everything is clean (floors, theaters, bathrooms). Concessions are great and you can even order online to have your food waiting for you upon arrival or delivered in theater. AMC 8 High Point is the gold standard of movie theaters.

Who doesn’t have a box office employee? Especially on a Saturday night? No other options to buy tickets then stand in line with the snack bar line or purchase then on your phone except it doesn’t work if the movie has already started. The seating is set up weird. Reminds of the 90’s. I’m usually such a fan to AMC this location was disappointing. Understaffed & needs to offer a self checkout ticket booth.

Very impressed! We had not been to this theatre in years; not since the remodel. The theatre is clean as are the restrooms. The popcorn and drinks are tasty (you have to add your own butter which was kind of a let down because I like my butter layered throughout.) The new chairs are AMAZING! We will definitely be back!

Half the theater is now open with remodeled auditoriums! They just didnt add heated recliner seats! They upgraded the audio and increased the size of the screens too. Popcorn was fresh unlike some of the older reviews. Price for evening viewings is still $7 compared to nearly $12 at Palladium. If the last time you went was when it was just an old Carmike with the AMC name, give it another go. Ill be going here more often.UPDATE!!! 9/27/18 Their prices went up from $7 to $9 a ticket still $3 cheaper than Palladium.

Employees dont really care or they are clueless. The picture was off in our theater (sound was on) and it was 15 minutes before anyone even tried to fix the problem. All they care about is selling unhealthy food.

The lines to get your tickets are a bit confusing but I love the way the revamped the theater. For once i was able to relax and watch a movie.

If they are going to make rules about people underaged watching R rated movies they need to follow them 100% of the time. Also needs people not to be rude about rules they do not follow 100% of the time. You would have thought we were trying to watch 50 shades of grey and we were 5 years old or something.

There is one thing that is going to keep me from going to this theater.... they have a ticket/concession line! So you have to stand in a very long line at concession counter to get tickets, regardless if you want a drink or not. I stood in line for 30 minutes, movie has already started and I bought my tickets online yet still have to wait in this line. Their way of doing business is just plain awful! The probably think if you stand here long enough you will buy their coke, popcorn, etc. But for people who just go to see the movie, this is irritating and now I will just go to other theaters unless they change their business practice!

Ive been here more than a few times now since the remodel, and all I can say is wow. Every time I step inside the lobby its such a great looking place. They even started selling adult drinks to get the ball rolling for when you sit in the new recliner chairs in the theater its like watching a movie from the comfort of home.

Waited 30 minutes to have my prepurchased ticket scanned. Went back mid movie to get food, took another 30 min. Went there to spend time with family and ended up spending 1 hr waiting in line. Waste of time and money. Not to mention manager needs a hair net when dealing with food. And the way you all handled your customer vs member line is absolutely ridiculous. Very disappointed.

Ticket line is same as concession line. Doesnt matter if you pre-purchased online, you still have to wait on the concession line to have bar code scanned. I didnt want concession snacks, so I ended up being 15 minutes late for movie which I arrived to with time to spare. I simply left and went to Palladium for a later showing. In case you thought it was a one time occurrence, it wasnt. This has happened three other times before I just decided I will not be returning. I sent my complained to AMC company and no response. Regal Palladium is my High Point theater moving forward.

Was a great experience, seats were easy to find, screen was great, and it had great audio. Popcorn was good, and fresh. Would recommend if youre in the area, have like $11, and two hours on your hands.

First visit to this theater. Wasnt impressed. There was no one checking digital tickets, so basically anyone could walk in without paying. The theater was very stuffy for the first hour, then the air conditioning finally kicked in. I did like the reclining seats. The ladies room, however, was pretty trashed. See photo. There are plenty of other theaters with comparable prices and much better maintenance, so I dont anticipate that Ill return to this one anytime soon.

This theater has been updated and modified. It was a treat to visit this theater. It was very modern, with every seat a good seat. Great variety of foods and snacks, comfortable reclining and heated seats. It was a great experience. Loved it!

Thee remodel is great! The seats are good too. I do believe it would have been better Id they would have done stadium seats. The reclining seats are good though.

Worst experience there. Short staffed and the popcorn machine was broke....movie with no popcorn?? Finally half way through our movie they got popcorn but wanted me to go to the back of the line to get it....like wait half hour in line and miss the movie I was watching... what.... so no popcorn. Plus the lady was super rude about it like it was my fault it was broke when we paid for our movie??!

Since the remodel and switch to a 1st run theater this place is as nice, maybe even nicer than any other theater around, yet still a bit cheaper on the tickets, especially some of the early matinee specials. Very nice, comfortable recliner seats. Theres even a bar there (though I havent tried anything from it). Still a bit sad theres no longer a 2nd run, $2 theater in the area, but this is a very nice replacement.

If you’re interested in having a great experience at the movies, I would avoid this theater like the plague. I’ve gone to this theater at least 20 times, and I can probably count on one hand the amount of times I’ve had a positive experience. Whether it’s people talking and texting the whole movie, babies crying in R rated horror movies, the nasty bathrooms, or the congested and messy concession area, there’s always something that sours the experience.The employees seriously need to start checking in on these theaters from time to time during movies. It’s frustrating to see all these warnings about texting and talking before the movie starts, but nothing is ever done when it starts happening. That being said, the reclining seats, screens, and sound system the theater uses are all top notch. However, it’s difficult to truly enjoy any of those things when there’s so many distractions around you taking you out of the experience. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this theater for actually watching the movie you want to see. If you’re interested in going to chat with your friends and play on your phone in the dark, you’ll probably have a good time.

Overall loved it. The recliner seats are wonderful. Only thing need improving is more staff needed when the lines are long. Takes forever.

Loved the discount Tuesdays. The setting is comfortable. The kids complained about how chilly it was but glad they have heated seats.

Hadnt been here for over a year and was blown away to see all the renovations. They now serve alcohol! Wed been going to the Palladium lately because they have the big reclining seats that can be reserved. Now AMC has similar seats, but theyre easier to find in the dark and HEATED! No tray for your food with these seats, but with A BAR and heated/reclining seats, Palladium can keep their trays, lol. From now on, AMC 8 is my Go To theater.

They usually over cook the popcorn (lol) little Smokey but it is always good and for the price and reserve seating, nice deal.

First time at this theatre. It is super nice compared to the other AMC in Greensboro. Its still not my favorite theatre in the area, but its not bad. My legs hung off (at the calf, Im 64) the end of the recliner, and even my wifes legs hung off as well (shes 53).

So cool now that theyve updated! Reclining and heated seats, frequent visitors club to get discounts on drinks and popcorn. Very comfy and easy to enjoy the movie!

Went to see a 3:45 movie, arrived 10 minutes early to enter theater with tickets already purchased. As I arrived to the door there was a line out the sidewalk with many of the patrons also having prepurchased tickets. With one line in, the wait took 20 minutes just to get our tickets scanned, previews have started and many fellow patrons were upset. Now mind you the movie theater does have a VIP experience that you can pay for called the A-list Club, which had no line and it felt as if the theater was forcing us to buy into this club, to not have to wait. First time going to this theater and probably the last, not worth the frustration even though there were three registers open inside. The staff was overwhelmed could not handle the amount of people coming into that theater.

One of the best Ive ever been to in recent years. Love the sound, the seats with recliners and heat, wide isles and jumbo screen. Thanks for a great movie experience. I plan to go back often.

Great Theater. Theaters are very clean, restrooms need some work.

This theater is not well run for matinee movies. They close the outside line and require you to purchase tickets inside where you purchase snacks. That wouldn’t be a problem if it weren’t for the fact that the people who purchase tickets online also have to wait in the same line JUST to have their tickets scanned. Furthermore, the problem is made worse when the premier customers are accepted by both cashiers who seem to be unaware of the growing general line (despite the many people who left because it was taking to long to serve them). I waited 35 minutes just to purchase a ticket; when I arrived there were maybe 4 separate parties in front of me. People behind me waited longer even though they had purchased tickets online to make the process quicker for themselves. I don’t know what this movie theater is like in the evening because it has really great reviews (which I can only assume are from premier customers or customers who attended evening movies). I am very dissatisfied. It seems that this movie theater only works for premier customers.

The lines took absolutely forever. Waiting in line for tickets in the cold wasnt pleasant. Then, I got inside and had to wait another 15 minutes at the concessions stand. The movie watching experience was pleasant. The seats are heated recliners. Very comfortable.

Probably a really nice theater. Made family plans based on their posted show times on the website. Checked the website 1.5 hours before showtime. This was our first family outing in nearly 6 months. Apon arriving at the theater I was informed by the ticket lady that they had change the showing times because Captain Marvel was selling more seats. Oh well, off to the Palladium. Probably won’t give them a second chance.

This theatre has become my favorite. It is clean, the employees are nice, and the seating is all amazing. They are all reclining and heated which is the best ever. I have been to a couple of theatre is the area but I drive from Winston-Salem to go to this theatre.

World class manager, staff, and facility! I could not say enough great things about this AMC and the people who manage it and work there. Ive seen countless movies here and have always left more than satisfied with the experience (even the times when the move itself failed to live up to expectations). Recently I had the pleasure of working with the manager, Belinda, on a theater rental for personal use. She could not have been more helpful and accommodating! If you have something you want to utilize a theater venue for, or if youre just looking for the best place in the area to catch a newly released movie, I strongly encourage you to visit this AMC and its unbelievably friendly and customer oriented staff!
