I love coming to Distractions Art Studio. Its a low key place where you can relax and let your creative juices flow (and yes everyone one has a talent.) Distractions offers so many different medias you can definitely find a craft you can do. They offer bisque ceramics, glass, mosaics, canvases and wood crafts. You know simply pick the craft youd like to do and everything is included for your project and unlike other studios who charge you by the hour there is only a $6.00 per day studio fee. But, they also offer a 3 month membership for $30 that gives you a 10% discount on your project purchase, eliminates the daily studio fee and you can come as much as youd like. You can refer someone and get an additional month free so, dont forget to refer me. Lol. What tops your whole experience off is the outstanding staff who is there to assist you if you need them. They can be so helpful with design ideas and technique tips. Such a great place to unwind. You can even bring food and drinks to the studio (including wine). So, whether you want alone time or a get together with friends and are looking for something to do you have to give Distractions Art Studio a chance, you wont be sorry.

A very bright, clean studio with incredible staff. They have an amazing selection of ceramics ranging from superheroes to monsters to dinnerware. They also offer mosaics and easy to follow canvas painting guides. There is an amazing selection, it was so hard to choose just one craft!Our group of four walked in absolutely clueless to how long painting ceramics would take, it was around an hour before closing. Instead of turning us away, the owner made us feel so welcome and took the time to give us a full studio tour. She was so patient and explained the processes incredibly well. We chose to do ceramics on this trip, but we will certainly be back for canvas and mosaic crafts!I cannot give high enough praises to the owner of Distractions. She took the time to talk to us and really involved herself in our process without being overbearing. The studio has this calm ambience, where our entire group of very different people felt at ease. Well worth the money for the relaxation, company, and experience. We will definitely be return visitors. Thank you so much for a wondeful venue for our date night!

It was nice to paint some ceramics, and have some girl time with my friend, going back in a week to see what they look like so excited, and not overly priced

Took 1 nephew & my niece to paint some ceramics after seeing my brother in laws mug he made. It was awesome and the owner was super nice and so helpful. Its a great space to break out your creative side. You are within walking distance of Duck Donuts, Small Batch, & Goofyfoot Taproom.I painted an elephant mug, the niece chose a Narwhal Bank, and my nephew chose a figurine of a sloth. Cant wait to see the finished project! The owner doesnt fire up the kiln until its full, to save energy, but she said its never more than a few days. Then she calls or ships your masterpiece to you.

This place is so FUN! Most places give you a time limit or a color limit which is so off-putting! Distractions doesn’t do that; no time limit, no color limit...just let your imagination go wild! We’ve been several times and each time we talked about how fun and even relaxing it was. I was worried because I’m not very artistic but I learned I was better than I thought. We’ve done canvas, ceramics, and most recently a wooden welcome sign for our new home.The own and staff are a big reason we keep coming; they are warm, helpful, knowledgeable, and so much fun. Sunday funday? Distractions! Date night? Distractions! Family is in town and want something fun to do? Distractions! I can’t speak highly enough. We love it!

Distractions was everything I hoped it would be and more! Great ceramics for fun family painting, mosaics, canvas painting, even spin art! The staff was so helpful and our ceramics turned out beautifully. Definite 5 star fun!

What great prices! Took my man on a day date to paint and make mosaics. So fun! And we have awesome looking keepsakes. You can bring your own champagne (or beer) and the staff was so helpful and kind.

Distractions is an art and entertainment center for all. It has offerings for kids and adults, families and compabies. Making art in a social groups is a positive bonding activity whether your goal is team building or just to have fun. In addition to creating your own pieces you can view andbuy art made by local artists exhibited in the loft space.

️ oh my god so much fun!!! They have art activities for kids and girls night, the owner and her family is precious, they are right next to Goofy Foot and Duck Donuts... I’ve painted so many ceramics there and even made a mosaic! Always a good experience!

I had saw this store one time driving through the center just to see what was new. Selena; (spelling might be off, I apologize if it is~) the owner; is a wonderful person. She immediately makes you feel welcomed and included and the variety of projects she offers gives the opportunity for a group to all try a different thing. Her and her assistant Stefany (might be wrong spelling again Im so sorry!) are also there to provide any aid to you if you like. Last night a group of friends and myself went for a date night and we all painted ceramics. Granted we went at 9pm (she was closiwhich next time we fully intend to go earlier the next time. Its a really wonderful place and very relaxing. Anyone of all ages can go as well. Its not limited to just artists either. Definitely a place I want to continue going to for many many years. Thanks!
