I havent been here since the midnight release of Star Wars Episode 1.of course, back then is was known as Broadway Multiplex Cinemas. i think.anyway, the only reason i visited was the fact that Brooklyn, for some reason, is considered New York City & cinemas are not allowed to re-open. who knew when people say iam going to the city they mean Brooklyn....anyway, the staff, for 1, were very patient & welcoming. i mean they were in lock down for past 8 months.2, i love what they did to the place. i have been to Showcase Cinemas in Brooklyn where they dont have reclining seats, so this was a big & welcoming & very comfortable surprise.3, it was wonderful seeing films in cinemas again. wonderful going to cinemas again, even if it means trekking to Hicksville.besides the extraordinary care the staff took in cleaning after each feature & the fact i was the only patron in the 2 films i saw, it was a most wonderful experience.yes, i will do it again until cinemas re-open where iam or the other two cinema chains in LongIsland have better 1st daily showtimes.it would absolutely a plus if Showcase had earlier showtimes. 11:30 AM for example.

Nice theater to watch your favorite movies.The bathroom are clean !!!The last movie we watch here was PET SEMATARY.The improvement one spot to put it a Coca-Cola machine where you can download some kind app and design your personal Coca-Cola we can not tell you advance of this new service because we don’t drink soda but the people like you can come and try it.Another thing the offer you it’s after you buy the hug pop corn and you finished you can refill it again.So come here and see what I am talking about you will enjoy with your family. This movie Theater is HUG.

Really nice theater with reclining seats. The audience was great as well. No weird sound or jokes were made as the movie played. The concession is expensive, everything. Parking is convenient. I will come back again.

We are not in the 1950s anymore, we are more health inclined. Lay off the masses amount of salt on the popcorn. Let the customers add the salt themselves. Plenty of seniors are salt sensitive and will not buy salt laden popcorn.

I enjoyed the movie here. On a Sunday afternoon it was not crowded, and only $12 for a ticket. The seats fully recline and are quite comfortable!

Buying tickets in advance is a must. Popcorn is always pretty good, even on weeknights. Sound and picture could be better in the smaller theaters. But I worked at another theater for several years so Im a bit biased.

Been coming here for roughly 8 years, starting from when I was in college. The theater has changed so much over the years, including upgrades to seating, layout, and scheduling. The front hasnt changed at all, which is nice because its kind of a retro-look, but the theaters and seats are clean, and the food options are standard. The pretzel nuggets were pretty stale though, but Im not going to dock off a star just for that. Anyway, youll have a great time here!

Showcase has amazing reclining seats. Offers decent show schedules. Seat choosing is great so theres no lines. The food court directly outside has good offerings.

Great theater, it’s very spacious and I love the reclining seats. They are very comfortable you can lay all the way back comfortably. There’s lots of room for people to walk by you without stepping on your feet; or having to move to let them pass. The theaters are very clean, and the bathrooms are as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There’s a snack for every snack lover.

As far as movie theaters go the Broadway Cinema doesnt stand out but thats not a problem. The facility is clean, the workers polite and their recliner seats are comfortable. Sure the food and beverages are expensive but thats like any other theater. At least they have a decent selection and their popcorn always seems to be fresh. At the end of the day you can come here and enjoy a movie without worry. What more do you really need from a movie theater?

Along with Target and Sushi.com the Showcase - Cinema de Lux is the best thing in Broadway mall. The seats are extremely comfortable, the place is extremely clean, the staff is generally attentive and there are so many theaters that is very unlikely you wont find anything good to watch. Moreover, now with showcase subscribe its even better and more convenient to watch movies. Super thumbs up.

Went to a movie for the first time in a year and the theater was filthy. The bathrooms were even worse. For a Saturday night it wasn’t even busy and there was popcorn and garbage everywhere and toilet paper and uncleaned stalls in the bathrooms. I don’t think I will ever be back. You also cannot exit straight to the parking lot anymore which is an inconvenience.

First time viewing a film here, pleasantly surprised. Clean, seats almost brand new, sound not too loud - very good movie experience.

The best movie theatre around here. I mean, the seating alone is awesome. You have tons of leg room, and the seats recline. They have a good selection of food and candy at the concession stand. The food court is right outside the theatre. And the arcade is right down stairs. I love this place.

Its a pretty nice theater ever since they renovated it. Its comfy, seats recline. The chairs are in pairs of two and you pick your seat. Its on par price wise with other theaters. This usually has a good bit of late night showings. Half of on tuesdays $6 or 7 a ticket

Nice theater, with lounge seating. If you go for late night shows, you will see people in pajamas. You can just recline the chairs and get really comfortable while watching the movie. The tickets are pricey but I think these are the prices in all theatres now, especially the ones with such seating.

Its our go to place and we threw a birthday party there for my son. The events manager is great and so very helpful. Customer service is very good in general. If youre a Starpass member (its free) you dont have to pay a service charge when buying tickets online. There was a problem with the sound once that they fixed rather quickly, with an employee standing in the room to make sure it was working.

Went to see a movie that was out for awhile, so I was expecting a low turnout. However, a bunch of the seats were taken. When the movie started, the theater was still relatively empty. Our favorite movie theater. The new addition of the recliner chairs really is amazing. So amazing that I almost fall asleep! But seriously, I cant go back to a regular theater after being spoiled by the recliner chairs. I highly recommend a visit! They have all the latest movies and it is never too crowded. Very clean and friendly service.

This is a movie pass participating movie theatre with stadium seating and reclining leather chairs. Very good screen display and audio. Helpful staff. Sometimes exceptions can be made for couples to sit together when only single seats are available.

Has to be one of the best Theaters on Long Island. Perfectly placed in the mall just beyond the food court. Big Theater, seemingly infinite showtimes in comparison to other places, vast amounts of seating in each room with a wonderful slope for viewing the screen as you kick back in comfy recliners and do what you went there to do; Enjoy the film!

Comfy big chairs that have the function where you can lift up the legs. Its super comfy and the big chairs keep it from feeling crowded and cramped. Great movie theater.

The area is nice, especially since they have updated it, and the theatre sections are comfy are clean. A note, you will need to reserve your seats when purchasing the tickets and if you are going alone you might want to avoid taking up a chair in between a row of empty seats since you could end up being seated between a family coming in, which can be a little awkward to say the least.

Ever since Ive discovered this theater, Ive been only coming here. Its been about a year now and the reserve reclining seats are pretty worn! That just explains how popular this place is.Plum Benefit users, beware, you MUST have a printed copy to have tickets converted for your show. Phone or tablet copies will not be accepted.No outside drinks or food, but Ive never seen them check bags. But they dont have too long of a line at the concession. Yes, they do have coke icee.I also like the fact that you can wait for you show while shopping at the mall. Or browsing through IKEA.So far, pretty clean, pretty good theatre.

OLD & OUTDATED. OVER PRICED

Nice place to hang out. You can reserve your seats online and show up literally minutes before the movie and still have good seats. Theres also an Auntie Annes nearby and Bubble Tea.

Its a great theater, however with every given theater, there are going to be disruptive people. Now, this isnt the theaters fault but ive been to every theater in the area and i keep facing the problem of disruptive audience members who ruin the movie for others, either by walking in front of people blocking their view, talking, using their cellphone, bringing their crying baby to the theater, etc. Theaters should have an employee or usher sit in with the audience during the movie so they can remove/kick out any disruptive audience members. This would improve the moviegoing experience for everyone as they would not be bothered by anyone else being disruptive and can focus on the movie in front of them, which they PAYED to watch. Im not trying to slander the theater or its employees, as I know that they work hard to make what can only be assumed as the minimum wage or something close to it, BUT we are all paying customers and we shouldnt have to suffer due to the disruptive behavior of other audience members who cannot behave themselves and their kids. Theaters should take preventative measures and action to ensure that disruptive customers are kicked out or removed so they dont disrupt other paying customers. I have detailed how, above.

Unlike some theaters, have very comfortable recline seats in all of their 12 showrooms. It takes a while for the figure presentation to begin, but it was worth the waiting.

LAMONA BROWN was Very HELPFUL in helping me solve my issue. unfortunately i did not read the fine print when it comes to purchasing tickets online. she was understanding of my very busy work schedule and didnt hesitate to help me come to a speedy resolve of my situation.. definitely an asset to national amusements..

The only reason I come to this movie theater is for the hot nacho cheese. Lately every time I’ve come to enjoy a movie while having my nachos I have been unable to enjoy them due to the lack of preparations taken to ensure that the cheese is adequately heated for customers. I’ve spoken to management in regards to this and there has been no resolution. The counter staff aren’t the most pleasant when they are asked why the cheese is being served cold especially since I’m paying 7 dollars for cold cheese! For one to work in customer service they are surly not doing their best to make this customer happy! Extremely disappointed in how this movie theater is going down!

The theatre itself was fine. Comfortable, reclining plush seats, normal concession fare, do-it-yourself kiosks. Their MAJOR drawback is their website. Or purchasing tickets off their site. Its nearly impossible. When trying to buy online through PC or mobile, you are kicked out of the transaction with a youve ran out of time to make this purchase message.

Broadway Cinema was a great afternoon. Elevator to get to lower level cinemas, comfortable recliner lounges. Lots of leg room.

The pre-movie projection was off-center and fuzzy, but the film was fine. Employees were friendly. The seats were fairly comfortable but not quite as much as in stadium-style setups.

Come here often to enjoy the new stadium seating with the recliner seats installed several years ago. Food is basic theater quality but you can literally fall asleep in the seats if you get too comfortable, (Ive done that before during a movie). This theater is a two level complex with another concession stand on the lower level away from the ticket booth. You can pre-order tickets and get scanned on site for easy retrieval as well.

My local movie theater, have been here at least 10 times. Staff is efficient and polite, popcorn/drink/candy lines are typically not too long, and the bathrooms are very clean.

Always clean, good seats, friendly staff, but they never have the 1,2,3 go box.
