We booked a private party here last year for one of our sons and we had a really good time! The price packages were reasonable and included a decent amount of items (food and drinks, bowling, karaoke, an unlimited arcade card and private lanes in the private room). The unlimited arcade card could only be used downstairs where the private party was but the games were varied enough that the kids enjoyed playing them. You just couldnt win any tickets. We actually were fortunate that no one else booked the private room so we were able to use both sides of the bowling lanes and the two karaoke rooms. The food amount was very good for our party size and they kept refilling. We even had doggie bags for all our guests! We did encounter a glitch in which the lane was not working for 30 minutes. During that time we were in the karaoke room since we couldnt use the lanes. We did bring it up to management and they were kind enough to extend our time to make up for the 30 minutes we couldnt use the lanes. We had a great party staff from the person booking our reservation to the person checking our guests in to the person bringing us our food. And everything was clean. After our time was up in the private room, we stayed to play some more. We would definitely do another event here!

A great place with a wide variety of activities including countless arcade games, bowling, billiards and snooker tables, karaoke rooms, you name it; Round 1 has it all. Great feeling of nostalgia for an adult and a great place for kids of any age. Everything looks pristine and the arcade games are high quality. This place could easily become a hangout spot for many. Way to go Round 1!

I don’t know how you guys find the cheapest, crappiest table tennis nets, but you are consistently able to provide them to your customers.If you touch the ping pong tables, the nets collapse instantly.I realize almost nobody cares about ping pong, but why bother having tables without functioning nets? Also, the netting behind one of the tables was removed so all the balls go into the Arcade.On another note, had my kid’s birthday party here and it was a very good value and the kids had a great time.

We came here for some quick bowling on a Saturday afternoon. There were plenty of lanes available but it took over 20 minutes waiting in line to pay and get shoes. The lane we were assigned was fine but unfortunately was a bit wonky. The pins would frequently be knocked down by the rake after the first roll of the frame which would result in the computer thinking that the player bowled a spare. This probably happened around 15-20 times during the two games which led to inaccurate scoring. Another minor but annoying aspect of our visit was that the escalator was out of service. Not a serious issue but coupled with the mechanical bowling issue and the slow service made the visit sub-par.On a good note, this facility doesnt just offer bowling. They also have karaoke, an arcade, billiards, ping pong, darts, and food. I think I would return just for the variety of things to do but definitely not just for bowling.

Asian Arcade Style with many prize winning vending machines and old school games. Split in two levels. Downstairs is more family friendly with food, drink with bowling and pool area. Ground level for more young crowd with arcade game focused.

Japanese arcades imported from Japan. Crane machines, shooters, racing, DDR, etc, they have it!They have a small bowling ally too, along with billiards and ping pong. Great for kids and adults alike.

We really enjoyed playing the games here, but the actual game selection is not that extensive and the games themselves are a little worse for wear. If youre looking to kill an hour in an arcade, this is a great choice. If youre looking for more than that... Youll be bored after an hour.They also have bowling and pool but both times weve been there the system was down and you couldnt play. So maybe call ahead if thats important to you.

Nice place with a good variety of games. Im a big fighting game fan and LOVED being able to play on real deal cabs. that being said the only reason this place didnt get a 5 star from me is that some of the joysticks/buttons were pretty worn out and could use a swap which is a really simple fix(60 in parts and about 5-10 mins of labor). other wise this place would have been an easy 5 for the arcade alone. Ill definitely be coming back.

Killed an hour before a nearby concert and had a fun time doing so. Food is your typical bar food, but fun games. Recommend the hour pass for $10 if your looking to play racing/shooting games and dont mind not earning tickets. Mario kart is the best one!

I had a great time on 9/7/2019. I had my sons birthday party there and the service from Harrison was beyond amazing. He went above and beyond for my party. He was on time and extremely attentive. Great place for all ages. An arcade with fighting and music games, there are claw games if you want to win something for your date, rhythm games to work up a sweat, the classic shooter style, and beer and bowling for the older crowd. Awesome place with something for everyone.

My brother had his twins party there. Its was great. Very reasonable price for what you get. There is also a huge arcade. A pool hall. Restaurant and bar.

I love this place as an option. Someone is trying to compete with Dave and Busters.. There is Karaoke inside which we love as a family. Good prices as well and nice friendly staff.

Usually, I love the place. Ive previously had childrens parties there and recommended others to do the same. Something has changed there, Im not sure if its managment or what. They ran out of the sauces/dips for the food, limited ice cream flavors and the lines were very long. Todays hostess was not friendly or very helpful. Ive dealt with her before and excused it as her having a rough day (it was 10am and place was empty), but it was the same attitude today. The young men working were much nicer. I gave it 3 stars, instead of 1, because I am hopeful that it changes for the better and the children always have fun. However, for parents/party throwers it may be a little stressful.

My favorite gaming place. So many different machines and so much to play and do. You can win a lot of neat stuff from the claw games and UFO catchers, the prize room has a lot of cool things too. A great place to spend an afternoon/evening.

I keep coming back here. The game selection is amazing, especially if youre a fan of rhythm games and fighting games. The UFO Catchers are extremely fair and they give you hints on how to get the prizes. The ticket games are really varied, more so than Dave and Busters. The bowling alley was really nice and clean and the shoes were some of the most comfortable rented bowling shoes Ive uses. I love this place.

Round1 Bowling experience was great... The wait to bowl was an hour and the music was boring.... but besides that the arcade was fun for the kids, the food was pretty good and my family enjoyed Sunday family day.... would definitely go back again.

Brand new in Broadway Mall - just opened July 1st! Its pretty fantastic with arcade games, claw machine games from Japan, purikura photobooth (only $6!), bowling, billiards and ping pong, and private karaoke rooms. Also have food and alcohol. Everything is very reasonably priced! I really enjoyed it here and I hope they stay!

During the summer I had went here ma my times, I always had a great time here. I had gotten much better and coming to these great lanes was a great part of my day. The food is pretty much what you expect in a bowling alley place, not the best, but pretty good. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean too.

Fun place to play some arcade.

I have a lot of fun here. Its like a smaller Dave and Busters. The games are different, many are direct imports from Japan. They have food and beer downstairs, plus bowling, billiards, darts, karaoke and of course arcade games. It fun that its also in the mall so you can always step out and go to the food court or just check out the mall. Also there is lots of parking. At 10pm its only 18+ and after 12am only 21+. If your older then its nice after 10pm as there are no kids and only adults inside.

Two floors of fun for everyone!The bathroom was pretty clean, food was surprisingly delicious, and for the amount of people that were there it didnt feel over crowded.

Round 1 is a very nice arcade with some amazing games in the arcade. Its nice if you like to have fun. I do give an epilepsy warning though, for those who have it. There is a lot of flashing lights. Im going to give four stars because some of the games dont work and only tell you once you already swiped your card. And they dont give you warnings too.

A gr8 chilled out placeWe have celebrated so many birthdays here. My kids just love this place. They keep introducing new games which make this place more enjoyable. Not just for kids this place can be enjoyed by adults too.

Its seems they have no staff to repair or refill any of the claw machines in this location. I wasted so much money on credits at the entrance only to enter and see almost no chances to win a prizes due to machines being empty or out of service. Wont be returning here again.

Had our daughters birthday party here. Everyone had a good time. There was plenty of food and N/A drinks. The chicken fingers were good, the pizza was meh. We did the bowling, karaoke and games package for 2 hours. Really wish we had done 3 hrs instead. We had the semi private area at the end.Reasons for one less star;1) the rep. Assigned to us disappeared for long periods. Because we were only there for 2 hrs we had requested the food and drink be ready and brought out at start time. That didnt happen.2) we had children and adults. During registration we were told 1 drink per adult. We werent told the bar would be open until half way through our reservation. When I brought this to the managers attention I got a lecture about how its the law (Im a lawyer and no its not the law) and that hes never heard of a party at 11:30 wanting beer and we shouldnt have booked it that early.He was friendly later and we got along after we came to an understanding. But it still was not the best first contact.

This is a fun little arcade place. There are lots of games to play and try to win prizes. The staff are very helpful and nice. Theres bowling and pool in the downstairs area and if you come before 4pm, the rates are a bit cheaper.

Had fun here with my sister and cousin! Dominic, who attended our tickets, is very generous and offered excellent serve to my sister who couldnt afford the Rilakumma bear plush. Will come by again!

Great place and a lot fun.

Excellent arcade with many newer arcade games. Everything was in really good condition at first but lately we have noticed quite a few machines were out of order. Has a nice bowling area downstairs and they cater to birthday parties etc really well. Also has karaeoke rooms. Neat and clean overall and has friendly staff. The line at the gift redemption area also moves quickly and they have more interesting items to choose from compared to Dave and Busters.

They do not update the hours nor do they have any active operators to answer the phone for inquiries so we came here for nothing.

Been here before but this time really did it. The place was filthy and the carpets had stains everywhere, you would walk around and your feet would be sticky. The escalators where not working, the billiards sticks are all broken on top of that there was barely any ventilation downstairs making it really hard to breathe. I mean where is management there is no one taking care of the most important basic things in order to have the place run. This is utterly disgusting and terrible. If they don’t fix things soon I don’t see how the health department is not willing to shut them down. I wish I could give this zero stars but it is what it is. Terrible.

I had a terrible experience with Round 1 (358 Broadway Mall, Hicksville, NY). On 12/26/2019 I took my kids for bowling around 2:30 PM. They put me on the waiting list because no lanes were available at the time and I waited around 1 hour to get a lane. I had paid all the expenses which included shoe rentals and a 90-minute game for 4 people. We were given a faulty lane that needed repairing, so I asked for a refund. The lady at the register informed me that they were not authorized to issue a refund and gave me a voucher instead for my next visit. I accepted the voucher and came the next morning with my kids and nephews since they had missed out on playing yesterday. As I gave in my voucher, they charged me for shoe rentals that I had already paid for the day before and I was shocked since I wasn’t refunded my money and was forced to not only come another day but also being charged for shoe rental again after not even playing 5 minutes of a games the day before. I asked for the manager and the girl informed me that she was the supervisor. I asked her not to charge me for the shoe rentals since I had already paid for them before but she ignored me and kept repeating that it wasn’t her problem since she wasn’t there yesterday. I was shocked at how carelessly she talked to me, clearly voicing her distaste at how I wanted my money back. I agreed to pay for the shoe rentals since I promised my kids and their cousins a chance to bowl. I was then given a lane and after I finished one game (which was definitely not more than 90 minutes), they said I had to pay for more games. I was furious; first they wouldn’t refund my money back for the shoe rentals and then they didn’t even refund me for my 90-minute game! I waited there to talk to the supervisor again to dispute the issue and was told to wait 5-10 minutes for her. After 20 minutes passed there was still no sign of her and I left since I was told to wait again 5-10 minutes. Overall, I had such a terrible experience with this place, especially with staff since they do not treat their customers with respect and the supervisor refused to give me her name to complain to the general manager. She ignored my requests for a refund and even told me that she doesn’t care if I left a bad review. Not only did she ignore her responsibilities as a supervisor, but she treated me with blatant disrespect saying how my problem wasn’t her problem.

This place is alright if you want to have just play some arcade games or play down stairs where there is table tennis, bowling and even karaoke. They do serve food and drinks downstairs if you looking to spend some extra cash. Just beware of the claw machines. Personally they are rigged and not ment to be won. I even witnessed an employee tightning a stuff animal so it would be hard to get out. Avoid those at all cost. Also, do not use the photo booth as well. You get very small prints, very small, where you have to squint to see the images. If you want them in full photo format, you have to download an app , which is a whole other hassel Overall, its an ok place to kill time and spend with friends and family.

Change the name to Round Out Of Order. Half the games all the way down to the urinals in the mens bathroom are broken or not even turned on. The railing on the second floor is also unstable. The ticket payouts on some machines are atrociously low. Wires hanging down from the ceiling. The prices for play-chips are too much for what youre given, I can get more for less at Dave & Busters and still have a wider variety of ACTUALLY FUN games to play. Also, get food in the food court before coming here youll pay less for better.The hype is gone, bye bye.

This is a fun gaming place for families. Bowling, ping pong, darts, video games, and Karaoke. Located inside the Broadway Shopping Center located off of Route 106/107 servicing Hicksville and the adjoining areas of Nassau County. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. Reasonably priced. Nice staff. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.

If youre bored in Long Island and have nothing better to do, this will definitely be a place to go to, to find something to do and have some fun.

Celebrated my sons 5th bday and they were amazing. Everyone enjoyed there time and 3 hrs was still not enough.

Fun place for family and kids. Sort of pricey, spent 100 dollars easily. Some of the machines are broken. Employees are helpful. Overall, enjoyable if you go once in a while.

Eeeek... went back Saturday night and all of their systems were down. Only a couple of bowling lanes were working. All of the games were out of order. And the wait on darts and pool was over an hour. Not sure how often this happens, but it was a pretty big let down.@Round 1.... next time this happens, you should offer 50% off food or something so its not painful to wait around a bit for things to be fixed.

Very nice Arcades. But the prices are way high for regular visits. Most games are $1.50-$2 per play. Very easy to run through $20 in 25min. If the prices were lower I could see coming often. It was clean. The games we played worked well. Card readers worked well. Just couldnt get over the prices.

Like Dave and Busters. Weird choice to only have beer, wine and sake, but not bad. Great prices. A lot of Japanese games you wont find anywhere else.

Waited on line for the Grand Opening and I have to say I was pretty blown away. Rates are fair for almost everything, and the selection is pretty INSANE. Only reason I dropped a star is two machines I was super hype to see were not running, and the NESiCA servers werent live. My new home away from home for sure! Edit: The broken machines are now up and running! No complaints!

Its always fun here, though Ive seen quite a few broken games. Sometimes sharp plastic or partially deconstructed games on the floor. Some things are out of order. The kids always have fun here though.

Round 1 is a very entertaining place filled with video games that go from quite modern, great for the skilled gamer to the classic and the young at heart. The games of chance some of us grew up on are peppered throughout the arcade as well. The attendants are easily available, and are very personable and helpful. On the lower level you also can play pool, throw darts, sing karaoke and last but not least, go bowling. The snack bar has a small but appetizing menu of finger foods like wings, pizza, burgers, etc.. For the adults there is a bar that offers beer on tap or bottled varieties as well as wine. This is a great establishment for family entertainment teens, and adults looking to have fun. Take some time to go and Enjoy!!

This place is LITERALLY heaven on earth. The games are so fun and theyre always updating them, so theres new ones to play almost every couple of weeks. Plus, the employees are so down to earth! I was having a hard time trying to win the walrus from the ufo crane game and Michael (a really sweet employee) was so kind enough to give me a tip. With it, I was able to win it! We arrange my nice birthday at this place and it was excellent..the place is new, full of games and activities like karaoke for the kids. The birthday party food was very good and enough portions for the price we paid, $25 per person was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food...we are very pleased and would definitely would recommend it .

Terrible Customer Service. Completely disorganized and unable to accommodate more than a few clients at a time. Management and Leadership is sorely lacking. Booked a party and then told they could not handle after having made 50% deposit online.

I really wish I could give a better rating of this place. Weve been coming here ever since they opened up two years ago and weve always had a blast. My room is filled to bursting with the prize stuffed animals, they are so easy to win! However its not the games that are disappointing, its management.What they fail to emphasize is that you get extra play tokens if you pay at the service desk, not the kiosk. When the service desk is empty (a single clerk runs both the prize room and the service desk in opposite rooms), the kiosk is the easier option. When I noticed I was missing my usual 150+ bonus tokens, I brought it to managements attention and was only given a shrug and a speech on how theyre covered because there are signs (a faded photocopy of a photocopy on a torn piece of paper taped to the kiosk) and how this is a strict policy they will not bend. Astonishing as how I just spent $100 to play there. I never even asked for a refund, just my play tokens.So while they do have fun arcade games and winnable prizes, management does not give a lick how much money or time you spend there. They already have your money. Whether you have a good time or not is solely up to you.

I went two days ago for my birthday--I wanted to do Darts and Karaoke--especially since I know they have japanese songs. We get downstairs and are stuck at the guest services desk for 20 minutes because theres a party of large people taking their time, and only ONE person working the desk. This was on a week night. It was not busy. They should have been able to afford another person--theres a second register at that desk.Once its our turn we say we want to play darts. The machine is broken, so we cant. I actually checked it later--it was not broken, it was paused in the middle of a game. I literally hit Resume and it kept going absolutely fine. It turns out the people working here have no idea how to use any services they offer. So we go for Karaoke instead, they put us in a room with two books, two mics, and the instruction to put in the number for the song you want. Someones drink is still in here and the table is cracked. No instruction on how to use the machine There are also buttons on the keyboard you can hit in order to change pitch, cancel requests..all information that would be really useful to people who want to have fun with karaoke! Its just a stereo system and keyboard hooked up to an actual Windows PC. Its not a karaoke machine. I specifically came here because they have japanese songs...none to be seen. We asked the lady at the services desk and she said its only in CERTAIN rooms, and made no attempt to offer us them. Asked again, and she said shed look into it and come by when she finds out. 40 minutes gone now, and shes nowhere to be seen. We ask again and get told that when the room opens theyll bring us to it and we can spend the last minutes of our 2 hours in there.So that happens. Were brought into the larger room with japanese songs and told if we want to switch to english, we change the input to PC. No instructions whatsoever on how to use the japanese songs. Theres a seperate machine and a table, which is powered off--not told how to power it on, figure it out ourself, it takes five minutes to boot up and Im left to my own knowledge of the language to figure out, well, anything. The songs will only get sent if you squat down and put the tablet RIGHT next to the machine. They dont give us books with numbers for the japanese machine(like you get in the city), its totally up to us to figure out how to do what we have PAID MONEY to do. The whole time, weve been paying for the luxury of figuring out how to use these machines and what they can do??? During this time, the PC actually LOCKED! I couldnt guess the password, so we couldnt sing any english karaoke. Are you even serious?There are several options and ways to adjust tempo and pitch that they dont clue us in on, again. I dont believe any of the employees there actually know how to use any of the japanese-built machines, whether theyre arcade, darts, or karaoke. Unfortunately, even when we get songs to play, we have no idea how to switch the on-screen lyrics to romajji, so the only person who can sing is..me, who knows the language. At least they totally forgot about us, so we were able to spend an hour instead of a half hour!The Initial D machines no longer allow you to use player cards (eff you if you paid for them previously), I believe the company just didnt want to pay to ship more and have to maintenance the machines. Theres also a sign saying that if you put ones in you already have, itll jam the machine. You can no longer actually get rewards for a membership there, because you have to use the app that is completely broken and doesnt actually work on android, but they dont do stamps or renewals anymore at the membership counter(which had no one until I waited for 15 minutes), so youre out of luck.They havent brought new japanese machines in since the day they opened. They just immediately dropped support for this chain the moment it opened, or whoever had the contacts in the company quit. Dont come here unless you want to spend money to do their job for them.

Had a great time here with all the claw machines and games The quality of the prizes are alot better than the usual arcades and the claw machines are not impossible 0w0. They have around 4 types of claw machines (ping pong ones, simple UFO catcher that only goes up and down, the regular claw machines and then the hook ones). Even the prize booth had prizes that are more worth it (quality-wise) and many of them were japanese products(?) The claw machines and games are on the first floor while bowling and pool are downstairs. (**Ice cream is only $1!! Just saying )

If youre looking to play rhythm games, this is the place to go. Depending on the game, you might need to wait in line.

They need to take reservations for each activity! I hope they end up doing that in the future. Otherwise you will be waiting at least four hours or will need to get there super early to be able to do anything at all! Prices just increased last week. When you finally get to do the activities, it is fun! Absolutely packed on a Sat night. Parking is difficult, too.

Round 1 has super cute prizes but pricey! Staff are friendly but there needs to be more staff on for the machines. It can take a while to flag a person to assist with a machine. I believe that u get bonus credits from purchasing at the counter.

Family friendly place. Ther kids had a ball.Although we went for a bday party prices were very reasonable.

Ive only been to this place once, and I found it both incredibly busy and a little bit expensive.While it seems like a large place, there is a strong emphasis on claw-machine games which you can easily sink a lot of money into. The other arcade games were fun, but a lot of machines were out of service, repetitive, clones of phone games, or hard to earn tickets on. I had the best luck on the spinner machines.The best part is the prize shop, which is what would keep me coming back. There are some really choice prizes...if you can earn the tickets.A fun evening or date idea, but try to go on a quiet day if you can.
