I have received an email today from Avalon that there will be no reimbursement for dues during pandemic closure. Can’t use any of the facilities expect golf. Very poor policy.

Went to a fund raiser banquet there. Food and service was wonderful. Very comfortable, clean, friendly, well kept place.

We had lunch including the Hepburn salad and a chicken club sandwich. The food was delicious and the waiter was friendly and attentive. The chicken was very moist and flavorful and their salad used a nice bed of fresh greens- very delicious! The atmosphere is lovely with soft jazz, comfortable chairs and a beautiful view of the fountain. This review was 4 stars instead of 5 because it took the kitchen a while to get our food to us and there is a smokey smell even in the non smoking section.

Regardless of which location i happen to be at i am always highly satisfied with my experience at all the Avalon establishments!

We hadnt been to Avalon in quite some time. With less than half a dozen tables at 12:30 on a Sunday, they managed slow service, slow, yet cold food, and still made time to forget to cook my wifes meal. We attended with family and left pleased we had chosen to cut the club out of our budget a few years ago!

Very nice restaurant. Elegant and quite different from most common establishments. This is a pretty nice place to conduct business or have a business lunch (which is why I was there). The staff was outstanding and extremely professional. Definitely a cut above. I would give it five stars...but the sandwich I ordered basically just came as a sandwich all by its lonesome self on a plate with pickle. Must be that sides have to be ordered separately. Ill look forward to my next chance of going back, though. The atmosphere is really quite different and endearing. Low ceilings and dimmed lighting add to the effect. (Gotta love the leather chairs). Im also looking forward to trying out their cigar room at some point.

Attended a banquet in the ballroom. The food was very good and the staff kept the buffet lines moving. Gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because of the sub-par (no pun intended) sound system in the ballroom.

Great place with good facilities and friendly staff

I really enjoyed my lunch of Chicken Marsala. It was very tasty and served by a pleasant waiter. Very nice party in a room with our own Christmas tree!

Love the old sharon country club . Greens were excellent. Best of the 4 courses.

Such a nice place for a corporate party. Recommended highly. Use 42 entertainment to set it up. A gurentee great time.

Wow! Amazing rennovations to the Avalon make it a must see when in the area. The service aspect is first rate. Attention to every detail is evident from the bar and food service to the course and amenities!

This is nice for what it is - a country club in Hermitage. Its not the nicest country club Ive ever been to, but one of the nicer places in the area. The drinks were very reasonably priced, which was a refreshing change over some of the other clubs Ive been to.

Really good food and dining area.

Used to be a nice place to eat when it had a la carte. It took them over a hour to cook breakfast. My eggs were over cooked and the bacon has burnt to crisp.
