Great big grassy area that is well kept. Restroom available, and 2 play structures for ages 2-5 and 5-8 (currently closed). Lots of large boulders at perimeters that are fun to climb over.

The humming power lines overhead are a downside. The grass is well maintained and sufficient for many teams to hold flag football practice at the same time. Mid day heat is not something to endure here as there is very little refuge of shade to be found. With the other options nearby we would never have a desire to come to this park other than its where our team practices at.

Fun playgrounds. One for older kids, one for younger. Big grass field, an outdoor basketball court, and a fenced in area for dogs. A lot of road nose from Boulder Highway and for some reason the power lines overhead make me uncomfortable.

Wasnt what I had expected, as I hadnt really looked at a map of it, but its a nice park. Its very long and narrow, with a long, grassy area thats just wide enough for a couple groups to play competitive sports. Opposite the grassy area, theres a line of variously sized dog parks--although none was especially large, a basketball court, a restroom, and a small childrens playground with both a small 2-5yro playset and a 5-12yro playset, concrete picnic tables, and shading. (But dont expect the picnic tables or playsets to be in much shade at 3pm in September). The designers really tried to pack in a little of everything to meet everyones basic interests/desires, and it seemed pretty new and well cared forThe play area isnt anywhere near parking, and theres actually only a parking lot on one side, which surprised me as I would have expected there to be two--one on each side--with how long it was. So, if youre stopping by just cuz you heard there was or saw the sign for a park/playground and want to let the kids play on a playset for a few minutes before you continue on your errands, its gonna take them that few minutes just to walk to the play area, and then youd hardly be able to see them from the parking lot once they got there. Otherwise, its a good park, with plenty of space for running around in the grass and playing sports.

Excellent park and play structure. The grounds are kept clean, its off the street quite a bit so no worries about accidents and lots of locals and kids play here (not so many that you cant play just enough for kids to have fun running around with other kids their own age)

The restroom needs to be better cared for. Other than that, its a decent park.

So much potential! The City seems to have really skimped on this park. The park is so big, lots of well maintained grass; but thats about it. There is a small kids play area, where a park of this size should have 2-3 of tgem. No splash pad/ water play area, not nearly enough shaded area or benches on/around the walking path around the park. There are nice basketball courts but quite regularly have a bunch of swearing and cussing teenagers playing, so keep young ears away. The only restroom for the entire park is typically either closed due to vandalism (kids starting fires and/or breaking the stall door) or locked because of the vandalism and awaiting repair.Henderson City needs to put some effort into this park. As a regular user of this park, its clear that not enough has been put into this park.

No shade, nice open fields though. Good family park to play field games or basketball. Really small dog park.

Family friendly, beautiful, quiet, just avoid the canyon on the SE side, its used for target practice and should be avoided without proper attire/gear.
