5 star service, My Daughter Jada who 2 years old just absolutely love the teacher and her friends. Teacher are very patient with the younger children. Always a pleasure hanging with other parents who have children thats been apart of step up for over 10 years.... I love it!

My daughter started dancing at age 5 and at age 8 started at Step Up Academy. We had tried a couple of other studios prior. What made us really happy with this one was the age appropriate dances and costumes along with actual technique taught to even the minis.My daughter is now 17. We moved across town a couple years ago and tried another newer studio close to our new home for a year. The other studio had a very nice owner but just didnt have a program advanced enough for the older girls. So we now drive across town in some pretty ugly traffic 4 days a week because it really is the best studio in town. The teachers are all top professionals in their field and it shows in the dancers they turn out.The Mother/daughter owner team are very straight forward and dont allow drama to infect the family atmosphere. Spend a little time there and you too will feel like you have been adopted into this close knit Italian family. I know I can count on so many of the families there if my daughter or my family ever needed anything.

My two daughters, Goldie and Charlie, have been at Step Up since they were both 2 1/2 and 3 years old. They are now 7 and almost 5. They’ve had continuously positive experiences with both instructors and self confidence and have learned to love not only dance, but the discipline that comes with being a dancer. We’ve loved all our instructors and the family atmosphere that Step Up provides. The expectations are high but so is the level of support, love and dedication from the staff! The girls just love going... and the showcases leave nothing to comparison! They are fantastic!!! Thank you for all you do!!

Editing this because I think my first review was a little harsh. I have no complaints towards any of the teachers...my daughters teacher is awesome and spent one-on-one time with each kid during classes. My daughter is in the combo 4/5 class. Weve been enrolled for several months now. I understand the need to teach the same dance routine for the showcase, but I do still wish the routines were changed up a bit as the class progresses. The pandemic did limit my childs interest and progress in the class and thats not the stuios fault. The only reason we are leaving is to pursue other interests.

My daughter has been glued to me since she was born but somehow Miss Lauren got her to go into class AND love it!! I am so thankful and absolutely love to watch her shine each class!! We love Miss Lauren so much and the amazing staff!! Such a welcoming environment :)

Step Up possesses the most amazing combination of professionalism and family atmosphere. All styles of dance are taught with focus on proper technique. Students are continually encouraged to strive for their personal best. Proper placement in classes allows outstanding growth in motivated students. The studio is our second home and our daughters cant wait to get to dance everyday! They leave feeling encouraged and improved. Highly recommended for anyone seeking dance instruction on any level.

Step Up Academy became our dance home seven years ago. Both of my daughters dance here and love the ability to take classes from so many different genres of dance. Their teachers have amazing backgrounds of work experience and training. They also compete on the competitive team which helps teach them work ethic, teamwork, and enduring through challenges. I’m thankful our girls have a “home” here at Step Up Academy and look forward to many more to come.

Where do I start!! My kids joined their dance family about a year ago, and we couldn’t be happier! I have watched my daughter flourish and become quit the little fireball... and I’ve watched my son come out of his shell. Christina and Christine are a great combo together. They are very fun people to be around, and great role models to have my children look up to! So if you are looking for an awesomely talented studio with values and where family is a priority... this is it! We love our Step Up family and couldn’t imagine it any other way !!!!

Step Up is such an amazing dance studio! I was a former dancer there for five years, and I miss seeing everyones face. All of the dancers are friendly and unique. The teachers there make sure each student understands the concept, or routine, just as much as proper technique. There is no other dance studio that can compare to Step Up! Wait until you see each recital! They are creative, magical, and so much fun to participate in! Not only that, their competition team is so talented! I miss running through routines, hanging out with all my friends, and participating in the shows. I hope everybody is doing well, and I miss you guys!

Step Up is an amazing. We have been dancing at this studio since they have opened and was one of their first students! I remember my 18month old screaming in class to get her out. With extreme patience Christina made it though a whole hour of crying and screaming!Fast forward to 10 years later and now I have 3 daughters on the competitive team!Step Up is our second home and I could not imagine my daughters growing and excelling anywhere else.If you want to be apart of a Nationally ranked studio or you are looking for your child to gain balance and grace look no further! My oldest daughter has been at this studio since she was 5 and now dances competitively. My youngest started dancing two years ago and we have been so happy with the studio for the last 4 years. From recreational classes to Step Up Academy’s competition team/classes there is something for everyone at every age and skill level. I love the variety of instructors and classes my daughters get from the faculty at Step Up and the owners are caring and have such a passion for providing dance to the Las Vegas/Henderson community.

My eldest started dancing at a different studio at 2 yrs old. The classes were a joke, they were play time for the littles with no real dancing involved. When I found out that she would be put into another combo class for a fourth year we decided to search for a new studio. I called step up academy and spoke with Ms. Christine, she was amazing, she let us try out that day for the older classes and my kiddo loved it! She wasn’t bored and the teacher was actually teaching technique! No more play time, my daughter finally found a place she could grow at. She was able to make it on the performance team last year which was an amazing stepping stone for competition team this year! My daughter has grown leaps and bounds at this academy! When my youngest was 2.5 we started her in the combo class and they were teaching the littles technique and proper positions. They still have fun and play with wands and crowns, but they are learning! My two girls love dancing everyday at the academy and I tell all our family and friends to go here! They have incredible teachers, great parents and the directors are amazing! I would never dream of going anywhere else!

My daughter started dancing at Step Up Dancing Academy when she was 9 years old. She started in ballet, then added some other classes. She joined the comp team, and over four years of dancing at Step Up, i have seen outstanding progress. The owners treat each and every student with respect , and they know what they are doing. Step Up is My daughters home away from home. Step up is a family to my daughter. She loves dancing their, and really gets to learn from the best of the best. I will never regret my decision of having my daughter dance here, they are teaching her to be the best she can be, and making her dream come true.

We have been at Step Up for a little over a year. The progress my daughter has made in this short time has been phenomenal. We were at a previous studio for 3 years and could tell the difference within the first few classes. The dance instructors are all wonderful people and true professionals. The owners Christine and Christina are extremely involved and totally care about their staff and students. They are extremely approachable and have always responded to any of my questions right away. They are equally dedicated with the recreational dancers and the competition dancers. This is something you dont experience everywhere. They really foster a family style environment and we couldnt imagine being anywhere else. My daughter is now on a competition team and having the time of her life. She feels 100% at home there and her love for dance continues to grow. I highly recommend Step Up!!

I couldn’t be happier that Step Up Academy purchased the Warm Springs location. The new owners Christina/Christine are so welcoming and really know how to run a top notch dance academy!! My daughter is 3 years old and loves to dance. She just had her first recital this weekend and loved every single minute of it! Step Up Academy has far exceeded my expectations! Ms. Christina and Ms. Christie go above and beyond for these dancers! As a teacher, I understand the importance of relationships with students. They build such nurturing relationships with these kids that they receive so much more than dance training! I cannot recommend this studio enough! My daughter is now entering her 2nd season at Step Up and I am amazed at how far she has come. Coming from being at another studio for 2 years I thought she was doing “okay” for her age but to see how much she has flourished I cannot thank Christina and the rest of the Step Up teachers enough!! Being a part of the competitive team she has learned and experienced so much and still is yearning to learn more, especially after watching all the experience the older dancers have as a result. My daughter and I are so happy we made the switch to Step Up and are so appreciative of the love and support we have gotten from our dance family!!

Took my daughter for a free trail class today , and it was absolutely wonderful the teacher was amazing by the way I signed my daughter up and although the classes were full I was still able to sign my daughter up which I am thankful for khloe is so excited for her new dance journey .... so thank you

This studio is amazing!! This is my second family and I love coming to dance. All the teachers are amazing and so nice. The studio owners, ms Christina and ms Christine, are the best ever. They work so hard everyday. They are always so welcoming and caring for everyone. This studio is the best in town.

I went to a competition that they were at and saw some of the students forcefully grab a 5 year old girl and pull her away from saying hi and hugging another studio. I cant believe anyone would treat any person let alone a toddler.

My young boy loves it there at Step Up Academy!! He has so much fun doing jazz, ballet, and hip hop. He always wants to go to dance, even when he does not have class that day. I am planning to keep my baby boy at Step Up. Thank you to all the staff there that’s helps my boy and makes him amazing!!

My 3 year old daughter loves dancing at Step Up dance academy. She would rather go to dance then go to a water park. My daughter loves her teachers and their teacher helpers. The teacher helpers are student in higher levels and they help my daughter so much! She is always talking about them and wants to grow up to dance like them!!!!

Step Up Academy goes beyond my expectations for a dance studio. The experienced Step Up staff puts a strong emphasis on technique and develops beautiful dancers. I love watching them progress as dancers, but what I love even more, are the life lessons that the owners, Christina and Christine consistently teach: integrity and hard work. I couldnt ask for a better dance studio or atmosphere for my dancer to grow up in.

Where do i even beginfirst of all the teacher that i had for jazz, contemp, and ballet was HORRIBLE. she was so mean and never taught me anything. at the time it was my first year of dance and i never knew basics but no one really taught me basics except the subs or the other girls in my class. she had zero tolerance, yelled at people for not being perfect, and made multiple girls come out of class crying, including me. the teacher would judge my clothes, my form and flexibility, and i’m not very good at dance form. i do competitive cheerleading on the side and the teacher would ALWAYS judge me for it. no teacher should make a kid feel that bad! i hated dance so much and wish i could quit but at the time it was around showcase so you can’t quit! sorry! also there was so many random fees out of now where and it was just annoying. it was a horrible start to dance. the comp girls always seemed to secretly judge me and it made me slightly uncomfortable. final thing, my friend tried out for the competitive team and made it, but recently hurt her ankle. the staff said if it heals in 4-6 weeks she can stay on the team. but i heard today out of no where she was kicked off the team!! don’t go here!! it’s expensive not fun and horrible staff!!

My daughter is beginning her fourth year competing with Step Up a Academy. She spent five years competing with another studio in town, and I wish we would have started at Step Up! She has incredible teachers from whom she has gained an excellent education in all varieties of technique. They have also conditioned her body to be strong in performing the various moves she has learned. My daughter LOVES the atmosphere at Step Up, and there is no other place she or we would have her dance!

Not a very friendly place not organized with payments and cancellations. Continue to get charged and have not been there in 6 weeks. Big headache

Wonderful studio and staff, after reading the negative reviews I can only laugh because I work in online Reputation Management and see this daily. This studio has been in business for over 8 years, and we have been privileged to be apart of it. The negative reviews need to be looked into and the source considered as they have few reviews and you can see them reviewing 2 maybe 3 places which are competitors. (insert eye roll lol)My daughters and sons success is because of the training she has received from the staff and owners, they also push her to work hard and provide them an environment with respect, morals and ability to grow in their craft.I recommend to go see and observe this studio and develop your own opinion with this place.

Step up is where I fell in love with dance. Step up is the only dance studio I’ve ever been at and the reason I’ve never changed or thought about changing studios is because I could never find another studio just like this one! Everyone is so nice and supportive, the teachers are friendly and fun, and I am so grateful to be at studio like this one. Step up is is my second home and family and the studio owners mrs. Christina and ms. Christine are doing a phenomenal job with the studio.

This place is absolutely amazing!! My face lights up every time I dance there I have been at this studio for a hot minute now and I wouldn’t have it any other way! They are always there for me and are like a semiconductor family to me, they always bring out the best on me and I love them soooo much!

I would like to start out with an apology to Christine and Tina. Almost two years I wrote something that I didn’t even recall writing. I was in a devistating place of grief. It is hard to explain. And I know there is no excuse.But this year I got to reconnected with my grandchildren and I have to thank you for the way my granddaughters have grown into such young lady’s. They are so elegant and poised. And the way they carry themselves at such a young age is all due to your training. Their dream is to go to Juliard and with your experience and training I can see that happening. Thank you so much. You teachers and studio is nothing less then 5 diamond. This studio is awesome! I recommend it 1000%! Ms. Christine and Ms. Christina are so wonderful with the kids and really help bring out the talent they have in them.

Terrible school. They bought out the dance school my kid was going to. They just stole the student from the other school my kid was going to and is going to fire the all the teachers from the other school. They dont remind anyone or put up fliers they just send emails that I dont receive half the time. There staff is very rude. I suggest not going here, they have way better dance school that are way cheaper

My daughters and I love it here. We have been coming for 3 years now and they are still happy every day that we come to the studio. The teachers are wonderful with kids, balancing fun and learning. The older kids are great with the little ones. It is all around a wonderful place and we are happy to be a part of it :)

Amazing company and people, definently recommend Step Up!

How do I begin.These people just after your money.So I saw they had a Groupon , I said great! I called the dance studio rather than purchasing the Groupon, cause we all know how Groupon works. So I did the nice thing and said Ill pay it to you guys instead of Groupon.First off the staff was some teens that had no idea what theyre doing.The day I show up there , they were giving me a free one class slip for my daughter I said ok.. then another girl comes and says no . Its for Groupon.Whatever right?So I fill out paperwork give cc info etc.My teen daughter attended a class that day and after she tells me she did not like it at all. They had her doing push ups sit ups crunches for 25 minutes! If I wanted her in a boot camp I would sign her up to a bootcamp. However I do understand that they need to be in shape or what not. ( She is in shape)So she just didnt like that and didnt like the way the instructor was teaching.My daughter attends a different dance class on weekends when shes at her dads .shes loves it there never complained .So back to staff.I call and nicely explain the situation how she didnt like it and if they would just not charge me and let it be as if it was that free slip for one dance trial that the girl was giving me at the beginning. The teen girl calls me back after she asked whoever Is her boss. And says no we cant for Groupons .I understand that this business is ran .by a mom and daughter, you would think theyre more understanding, specially after I was nice enough to not purchase through Groupon.Maybe I should have, they probably would have refunded me.Thats what doing the right thing gets you.I dont recommend. This studio.I apologise for bad grammar I did this on phone.

I love Step Up they make my child smile. They help her a lot and they treat her as if she is part of the family. Yes, sometimes they are hard but it is just to make them better. My favorite part is the showcase at the end to see what they teach my kid.

The teachers are very disrespectful. One teacher even yanked a girl harshly and I wouldnt ever want to see my children be mistreated in a place where they should feel safe and supported.

This is a very Poor Excuse for a School. Our daughter was in the beginner ballet class. You would expect a school for 4 year old children to be taught by a qualified teacher. Wrong! Classes are often taught by 10 year old children! The Owner Christine Claims these children are qualified ballet instructors. These 10 year old kids may know something about ballet - But, they have absolutely 00 qualifications to teach anything! This is 100% apparent when watching the class. The 10 year old teachers have 0 tolerance, 0 teaching skills, 0 patience, and your children learn 0. School Only cost $45/month for 1hour/week. But, when you have children teachers (who are obviously working for free) even this $45 is a total waste of money. VERY Disappointing!

Love, understanding, knowledge, patients, dedication, heart are just a few ways to describe the WONDERFUL staff from Step Up Academy. To providing scholarships to underprivileged children, staff funded sleep overs at the studio, private one on sessions, this studio is incredible. I am a professionally trained dancer and have spent my career on some of the most prestigious shows on Broadway to leading roles in major productions on the strip. I have never been so impressed. I have visited the studio many times with my Sister & Niece and am blown away at their dedication. The way one of the instructors Christina; I believe, motivates sometimes distracted preteen girls is done with the discipline of an Army General, the love of a Saint and motivation on par with Zig Ziegler is under appreciated by most parents. They are providing an environment where these kids enjoy what they are doing along with maturing into young adults. Top that with her absolute mind numbing dance Skills that she easily conveys to her students. There rapid advancement can definitely be attributed to their ability to do what MOST dance studios can only wish for.Keep up the great work.Angelina!

Took My 4 year Old Daughter to Ballet class Today. Was shocked to see that there were 12 kids in the class and the class was being taught by 2 - 10 year old children! These Children teachers had no control over the class. My daughter just stood there not knowing what to do as the teachers walked around her as if she were invisible. When the class took a break 20 minutes into class several children came out crying. One child summed it all up when she said with tears in her eyes, I dont want to do ballet anymore!As a parent you never want to see your children in pain. My daughter LOVES Ballet. She begs us every week to take her to ballet. Then to see her love and desire for something so beautiful squashed by a school who is simply collecting tuition money and then NOT Paying qualified teachers to teach just breaks your heart!

Dont go here if you want your child to learn discipline, basic respect and principle.

In conversations with other studios we were bummed that they had separate recitals for the toddler classes (2-3 year olds). As a parent investing our time we wanted our child to be prepared and excited to be a part of a show. With Step Up Academy the little ones are included in the annual showcase - which is a huge plus for us. Since joining Step Up our child has learned a great deal and looks forward to going to dance class on Saturday. The instructors are wonderful to work with and the older dancers are inspirations and great role models for the little ones to see.

Best dance studio in Las Vegas. Filled with loving teachers, hardworking students, and not to mention there awards that are too great a number to count!! I danced here for three years and can not come up with the words to describe how it has changed my life. I learned to be a great dancer, artist, person, and team member here. Students will not just learn how to dance, but also how to act appropriately in group settings and work with kids there own age to develope life skills that they will remember forever!!
