Im giving them a 5 star rating for practicing safety and providing awesome customer service. The staff at check-in were nice, friendly and professional. The staff at the bar were also awesome. The Drinks and food were good and priced reasonably. My new go to casino. Also, great place for Truckers. Plenty of space to parke that big rig. When traveling through Henderson, take some time to check it out and relax. Again, the food is good.

This was a nice little hole in the wall casino but big enough to keep us busy for the day. Dinner there was a delight the room was spacious although could have more to offer than coffee(tea for me). The evening was cozy visiting with other guests, many of them with their pets in tow. Bring a sweater because once the sun goes behind that hill the casino got a little chilly.

I know this is the oldest casino/hotel in Nevada but it was let down after let down. Out of state for a funeral we had reserved a crib (8mn old) and were told upon check in they didnt know where it was, or it was broken..we had to go out and buy a large pack and play to accommodate which we would then have to spend more to check and take home. Our rooms were alright... the sink leaked and was stopped ap when we came in our sink was almost overflowing, the shower base tiles were cracking off. Bed sheets had stains, lots of issues.... The staff WAS very polite through the ordeals but we were highly disappointed.

Enjoy the casino. Second time staying this month Rooms are older but clean. Check out are polite and efficient. Restaurant is mostly processed meat. $11 hot open turkey sandwich w/Walmart packaged processed turkey....yuck. Order the appetizers at least you know you are going to receive frozen box mozzarella sticks! Cool getaway from large casinos in Vegas BUT a 3 because of the down the throat Political Views I will never stay here again. Came here to escape the weekEnd of life. I don’t want Fox News and Red Hats for sale when I’m eating and checking out. Leave that in your home. The establishment should not be involved in left or right. Stay neutral so your customers feel comfortable. Your workers are Mexican who despise what’s going on and forced to sell red hats.....not ok.

The place really need serious renovations. All the service staff are friendly and amazing which makes up for the state of the rooms. I understand that because this is a budget hotel they can only afford to make it clean. The smell of cigarettes from the casino just comes up to the rooms even if its a non smoking room. It is what it is.The Iron Rail Cafe food was good though. Service crew are friendly and tries their best to get your order as fast as they can.

This is a great last stop for anyone leaving Vegas and heading south to Arizona or the perfect greeting to anyone coming through the pass to enter sin city.They have plenty of room for parking, lots of pumps for gas. Every popular beverage that is served, they have it. A large range of snacks and they also have a capriottis.If you are a trucker, they have showers available as well. The walking patrol guard is a little obnoxious but he is there to keep the place safe and I feel as though there is little to no risk to be concerned over.

Weve been coming here for years because we love the food and the atmosphere. The staff has always been friendly to. My only complaint is the overstaffing of security personnel and their overzealous enforcement of masks. I know that they are doing their job but on several occasions i had one circling me, just waiting to pounce on me about my mask. I was smoking and had a cup of coffee. I didnt feel like i was being careless, just trying to enjoy myself and when i wasnt sipping or puffing i had the mask up but they apparently didnt see that. There is a fine line between their behavior and friendly customer service which we have grown to enjoy over the years. The memory of their behavior has been the deciding factor as to where we go play now. Thanks.

This is one of my favorite hide aways. Their Prime Rib is almost always top notch, for the $12.99 spent. Better than any other place in Southern Nevada. And their 12 oz cut at $17 is an absolute value for a big meal or two.Thier rooms are clean and updated, with a pretty good rate if booked two days in advance. But thier pool is closed, (Covid 19 they say) and any special requests at check-in are egnored.

The casino floor was fun and the food was decent, the accommodations on the other hand were quite lacking. It was a family trip and I had to take my infant son with me. The hotel assured me that they had a crib and I would not need to pack mine onto to the plane. Once we arrived however, the hotel staff indicated that they had lost it, I was then forced to purchase one for the week I was out in Nevada. Issues with the door lock not recognizing my key multiple times as well. Rooms were at least clean.

This place should not be open. We visit casinos around the country and have never seen any place as bad as this. First and foremost, their employees are without a doubt the rudest in the industry. Especially the security staff. And if you saying anything they dont like forget it. Because then they call up stairs and have your machine set to not pay off anything.Not sure if the Nevada Gaming Commission allows the casino to manipulate the machines that way or not. Will have to file with them on Monday to see.We have always driven past this place. After today we now know why. They should not be open and should not have a gaming license.UPDATE, dont eat at the Iron Rail Cafe. There is no doubt this food comes out of a freezer and then cooked by chef Mike(microwaved). My wifes steak was suppose to be cooked medium. Instead it was harder than shoe leather. I order the chicken fried steak. Thin as can be. Tough as can be. They cook not even put the mashed potatoes next to it. I guess that was to cover up how small it was. And the wait staff is rude and not friendly at all.

Casino floor is reasonably clean and uncrowded, thats all the good I can say about it. Staff is weary and sullen, but understandably so given the patronage I saw, tip jars are nearly empty, couldnt imagine working there myself. Food isnt worth it, better off hitting the Cappriani next door. Coffee was stale and burnt, fountain drink replacement was flat and watery. Rooms are cheap but have a old musty odor. Bare bones otherwise. On a brighter note truck stop is pretty decent.

STAY FAR AWAY THEY WILL DOUBLE CHARGE YOU AND WHEN YOU GET YOUR BILL YOU WILL NOT GET MONEY BACK!!! I stayed there the night of Oct 5th. My bill was suppose to be 80.10. When it went through it was 123.10. I called and they sent me to Managers voicemail. No call back. Then emailed. Nothing. Then I got booking.com involved and they tried to no avail. STAY away they will screw you too.

Wow they did a ton of improvements. Lots of trucking parking and the food and logging is reasonable. They even have their own ECV historical plaque. Satisfactory

A wonderful place to go to avoid the rat race. Beautiful views around the casino. All in all great place to stay.

Hotel was very reasonable, and the greatest thing was I needed permits printed and they took care of it for me at the front desk. Much appreciated as Im a pilot driver so on the road a lot. Only downfall was no ice.

Ive lived in Las Vegas for over 40 years and always thought their Cafe was terrible. Boy am I wrong now. They have made some changes and the food here is good and prices well. The N.Y. steak cooked perfect. Nice and thick too. The Prime rib is tasty. The fish & chips are amazing. Im impressed and I think you will be too.

Nice place to stop for a 10 hr break. A lot more parking there then it looks from the road going by. I didnt care much for the sub sandwich from the sub store there.

On my to Las Vegas from Arizona. Didn’t stop at the hotel, but great stop to get gas, stretch your legs, restroom and food. As a tourist had to play the slot machines just to warm up before getting to Vegas just for fun.

Rude service in the dinning area. Absolutely rude. Walked in happy. Cheerful. Sat down. Then was rushed. Not greeted. Just very rude employees. All of them. It wasnt always like this. Make rail road pass great again.

Random stop for food and gas. The chicken philly with onions and peppers was really good. The club sandwich could use better quality meat, but was still good. As for the sides, go for the fries over the potato salad.

Great customer service and very friendly staff who are more than happy to help you! Hotel desperately needs updating and a better air filtration system. The second floor is the smoking and pet floor....I recommend ripping up the carpet and putting vinyl plank down.

Well, I was looking for a little cheaper hotel to stay for a night on my way to Arizona but the experience Ive is worst. The hotel is overall very old in every aspect. The rooms furniture is old, very old dirty carpet, the bathroom are a bit clean but very uncomfortable toilet, weird water tape and very uncomfortable bed with fluppy pillows. Couldnt even sleep for 2 hrs. Thats all okay for spending a quick overnight stay but sad part is its not even cheap. Like my objection is for this price this is a very bad hotel service except for the stuff are good. Im very disappointed overall, sorry!!!

Great service, excellent hamburgers. Cooked exactly as ordered, fresh topping and a great price. RR pass has been our favorite since we discovered it 20+ years ago. Like other they are struggling but they are worth leaving Vegas for.

Hotel was clean, I expected it to be more outdated and was pleasantly surprised. I will say that I had a run in with a security guard that was out of line completely. He made up rules to suit him because he didnt like the arrangement I made for my family to meet in a specific area. His attitude was tyrant like, trying to show us who was boss there. Well that b.s.doesnt work with me. I called his bluff and he was sent on his way with his tail tucked.

Dont bother if u smoke. Security is all over u as soon as u inhale they tell u to put your mask back on before u even exhale. If u light up they are standing over u like a hawk. Couldnt even relax and play a machine. I wont ever come back.

Very cool old school casino. We had fun for the short time we visited.

Not bad. Machines are tight however for being outside of Vegas. And I was unhappy with the on site gas station that couldnt get the debit card cash back to work and their answer to me was we got an ATM. So I got stuck paying an ATM fee, a casino ATM fee at that. Not cheap. But overall its worth stopping if you have the time.

Rooms are inexpensive and very nice. Star is very friendly. Food in the cafe is amazing and 2.99 for breakfast

This Casino was better than being in Vegas, very pleasant workers, great food, Excellent service, the coolest thing about this place, is everyone calls you by your name,,LOL,Kinda like the show CHEERS. All the Staff & Workers were just very outgoing & went totally out of their way for us,,,very friendly. I totally felt safer at this Casino/ Hotel then I have at any Casinos /Hotels in Vegas. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Love you all, we will see you soon.

Great Truck Stop!! Dont go into the market place unless you absolutley have to they are not friendly. Casino staff is friendly. The resturant has good food but make sure you go before 8pm to eat the evening staff after that is very rude and the food seems to lack during that shift.

Ive wanted to spend a night here for years. Im not into gambling, but I enjoy checking out casinos for food, drink, and observation. The wi-fi was nonexistent, but if youre wondering about safety, I felt safer there than in Kingman, AZ, because not only did the casino have strict regulations about masks and distancing, they also had security guards to enforce them. The only guy without a mask was out on the pavement on his phone calling us crazies. I also had a good t-bone steak at the diner.

Cordial staff, reasonable prices, less than 10 minutes to Boulder City & Henderson.

The travel center is all right but the hotel not so much

Stopped to eat. The cook messed up our meal. Ordered wheat toast got sour dough toast. My sister ordered scrambled eggs. Got fried eggs. They did fix it. But we thought it was a waste of food not getting it right the first time.

Ive stayed here several times and its no high class joint little old and maybe a little run down.. my wife probably would like staying here but I think its just great. And they have a dinner downstairs for breakfast and its cheap and good !! Had a great stay will stay again sometime in sure!

I only went there to surcharge my car and grab a bite to eat. We were told the steak place couldnt seat us even though they didnt close for 20 minutes. Then we went to the buffet and stood in line (the only ones) for 5 to 10 minutes while the workers completely ignored us. They didnt acknowledge at all, nevermind talk to us about when or if we could be seated. Ill never go back to this smoke-filled dumpster fire.

Old-timer feel. The staff is very attentive which can seem like they know what your up too..lol but after they see you okay they are cool people.. Dog friendly place which is a big deal for me.. And the elders customers are awesome understanding educating and got great stories.. the only downside is one person but Imma keep my opinion to myself.. Im sure youll figure it out if ya visit ..lol

I didnt stay in the hotel. I didnt gamble in the casino. I did stop in to the restaurant and get a bbq bacon cheeseburger. It was pretty tasty

I get that people smoke in the casinos, but this one just wreaks of smoke. The beds are hard as rock and my back is screaming from it and I didn’t sleep at all. Since the new management it has only gotten worse and I think I have spent my last night here.

They band me feom all cause somthing my brother did about 4 years ago. I used to go there everyday and spent lots of money there. But the head of security wont let me return there still and never even got a stright up answer as to why they even kicked me out of there when i had a room and it was on my birthday even . i did not even get a refund on the money i paid for it either. Really messed up and so disrespectful of them to treat me like this. Never will I ever go back there.

Yikes, it’s Sunday and the min bet at a BJ table is $10 with multiple decks. Dealer likes to rush you. Like to see $3 and I’ll stop every time I’m through with my truck. I might even come back at $5. They get a second star for being a good truck stop.

Bad service very run down air-conditioning didnt work and we were stuck with the room. Management said there was nothing he could do and threatened to throw us out it was late in the day so we stayed in a room with no air-conditioning

The food and decor match the truckstop casino youre expecting, but employees lack of professionalism made the experience not fun. (Funny incident though: my buddy texted me from the bathroom, where he was struck with no toilet paper.)

This place was so smokey, so dingy, so dirty. I would never stay there again. Hotel floors said not smoking, but I could smell it up on my room in the third floor so strong it was if I was at the tables.

Great place to eat, sleep, and play. The security staff are top notch and keep the play safe inside and out. I was impressed with all the rounds they do at night in the parking lots to make sure cars and pedestrian are safe. Not that the location is in any bad area but still impressive. This place is just side the las Vegas city near hover dam. A must stop for the night if you dont like the big city stuff but lots to do.

They have made nice improvements with their commercial parking area and I thank them for this.

I’m dropping a couple hundred dollars in this casino but you can’t get a drink to save your life. I only drink beer which is a Coors light beer but they cut you off after three. Doesn’t matter how long you’re there and doesn’t matter what you’re spending they just quit responding to you after three beers. Not the place I would want to go to again but it used to be really good when I came before

We loved are stay at the hotel it was very affordable. The staff throughout the casino where helpful and friendly it was like small town friendly and food was amazing. Rooms are older but are very clean. House keeping does a great job keeping the place clean. There is also a train that you can ride that goes past the casino. This was the train going to hook up to box cars .

Nice small casino and hotel. This was my first time at Railroad Pass. The casino has a must wear mask policy which is great for older and susceptible customers during the Coronavirus epidemic. Food was great. Love the Railroad theme.

I got a comp Deluxe King room. The only reason was for the shower, nice tub/shower combo. The bed left a lot to be desired but the pillows were just down right awful, flat and hard. Slept better in my truck.

Railroad pass it always a great place to stop or you get into Vegas always peaceful always nice and quiet and great food

We stopped there to get a room and a bite to eat. Within 5 mins of bing there security already staring us down. Then they come and asks us if we had ids. We told them no. We were just trying to get a room. Then they walk up to us and says were gonna have to ask you guys to leave we said ok. And then then escorted us out like we were criminals. I do not reccomend ever going there. I feel they discriminated against us. And there was no reason for us to be treated that way. I will not return to that casino & resort if they paid me to.

I really like the coffee shop at this hotel casino its the best around.whoever makes the sauces and gravies does an excellent job and very consistent.I think they have the best eggs benedict around !Their hamburgers taste like steakburgers.The prime rib dinners are excellent and it is a really good deal.I like the patty melt in the ribs are great too.The fish and chips is pretty good but not excellent. only thing on the menu I wouldnt order again as the fried Chicken number one it takes too long and I think it was overcooked.Its convenient for getting gas and cashing your paycheck too.

We enjoyed a nice seafood buffet for $20. Lobster, crab, scallops, oysters, lots of side dishes, even steak.

Stopped by with my dad to check on some machines, played a little won a little on Buffalo in the back. Nice little casino to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip. Great for locals.

Went to eat and gamble. didbt have sirloin steak.out of potatoes so substituted onion rings and charged $2 for them. food was good but took a long time after already waiting half hour for a table and it wasnt even busy. bloody mary in a tiny juice glass and disgusting. at the bar immediately told that drink wasnt going to be comped unless twenty was put in...just assuming everyone wants a free drink! bloody Marys at bar were delicious and in a real sized glass for the same price.
