My husband and I stopped in after a tasting at Williamson Wines and Paul made us feel right at home. Their wines were exceptional along with their cheese board! We met the owner, Scott, and were drawn in with his passion for his craft. He and Paul both show an obvious love for the wine they create and their patrons. We bought a bottle of the Climax to bring back to Georgia with us, the east coast has some catching up to do with their quality of wines!

By far one of the best and most memorable wine tasting experiences. I should share that I have been to many very pricey Napa and Sonoma wineries and never felt the warmth and hospitality that I experienced at Thumbprint cellars. Hospitality aside, the wine is incredible!! Every single bottle was amazing. I joined the wine club and cannot wait to introduce friends and family to this wonderful winery. Also a big thank you to Paul for taking such fantastic care of us.

Paul and Kelly are the absolute best. Cant recommend any winery or tasting room staff more.

Rating is for the wines, which arent to our taste. Mostly single varietals, they are frequently have a rich, fruit-forward start, but that tends to be backed by a slightly off after taste, often dominated by tannin - although this might be better with a few years aging. Staff and shop are 5 stars, though.

Solid 4 out of 5. Were glad to have found this particular tasting room in Healdsburgs square. Scott is personable, with stories to share, and masters the art of winemaking. His stories of how he started by renting spaces to blend different flavors were very interesting. We liked the 2013 Four Play so much we signed up for the wine club.

My wife and I found this place through the VISA signature program. When we mentioned this they said that we would only get one tasting. Of all the wineries we visited this is the only time this happened and we felt it was a bit stingy on their part. Being from a family of vinters myself, it is common knowledge that makers with confidence in their grapes consistency do not charge for tasting as people will buy if the vintage is good.They also pointed out that their wine was vegan, which I didnt find that impressive given the poor nose, weak body and rotten finish. They seemed more interested in their logo art and talking about the vegan aspect than discussing the wine itself.

Want to taste some wonderful wine in a really fun place? Thumprint always amazes me and delivers beyond what one can expect.Right down town healdsburg in the square its in a great location. Go inside and have a glass of some of the best wine in the whole area.Scott and his staff are fun and explore new ideas that transend what wine can do for ones self.
