Quite a tour with an extraordinary collection of items - worth a visit. Rooms/business were displayed well. I do wish the tour were a bit longer as it felt rushed with not enough opportunity to ask questions in some of the rooms. We went on the tour in mid-September (after the summer season) so I did call to make sure the tour was happening and made reservations as well.

Historical, but did you know they have actors? Make sure to go when they are there, it is definitely more entertaining for people who like more than just talk.

It is such a unique oddity of having a city underground. If you have a chance take the tour, there is so much history how the fire wiped out the town. I would highly recommend it.

This was a fun, informative tour. It was interesting to walk under the streets of Havre and imagine what it must have been like when these were actual businesses. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We searched for Pinky, but didnt find her. Wondering who she is? Go check out the tour for yourselves!!

The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Even after the tour she gave us a few other places to check out. It was fantastic! Thank you!

Havent been here in ages. But last time, this was an enlightning. Shows that my small town is home to a lot of history hidden underneath our modern facade. I recommend it for a Havre native or traveler.Havre has a dark history of opium dens, shangehiaing, and bootlegging. Want to hear every part of those stories and more? Visit for an easy price that anyone can afford!

I had family out of town and my boys ages 3 and 18mos with me. They admit children given that 5 years and under are free of admission. Well, lets just say that our $60 (4 adults $15 a pop) were a waste of money. Our tour guide started shushing my boy the moment the tour started and kept getting worse and worse because the tension of having to keep him quiet and the never ending talking just didnt sit well with him...or any kid for that matter! He was excited about things and of course being the 3 year old that he is he wanted to tell us. We try to use an inside voice but being interrupted was unacceptable to the guide. I am a polite person and am aware of others so I dont let my kids run wild, never, but this was beyond stressful for him, myself and my family who kept trying to help me handle the boys.If theyre going to admit children then they need to make this a little more interactive. Neverending talk is no fun for anyone. I know its a museum but it wouldnt hurt to bring a few things that kids can touch ...after all it does cost the adults $15 to be there. Its not like its free for everyone. So in short, if youll admit people of all ages them make it appealing to all ages!

A cool tour that shows where Havre businesses retreated during Prohibition, and then after fires burnt down much of downtown Havre. It is set up to be a museum, so there are lots of junk and stuff that never was originally underground (like a pharmacy or a post office) but to fill up these tunnels with something to talk about, it is necessary.
