Course is beautifully set in mature Oak trees some of which provide visual intimidation on approach shots into the greens.Par 4’s are challenging doglegs that require accurate tee shots on correct side of fairway. Par 5’s are tough but fair and the Par 3’s offer great variety. If you happen to hit shots into trees lining the fairways you are able to hit recovery shots as the trees are trimmed of low hanging branches which affords you the option of creative shot making.Greens are in great shape. Firm but receptive to approach shots. Putts rolled true on your intended start line. Scorecard provides hole by hole detailed and helpful information. Course management is crucial but there are plenty of holes with good risk/reward opportunities.The course is an excellent course to walk as it is on the shorter side and distances between tees and greens are minimal. If you are a lover of Fall golf then this course is a must play.

The course is in very good shape. This isnt a course for someone who sprays their tee shots due to the number of trees that line the fairways. Also, landing a shot in the fairway doesnt guarantee you a clear approach to the green. Some of the par 4 doglegged holes require you to leave your driver in the bag. I like that I have to think my way around the course. This was my first time here and I intend to be back soon to see if I can put to use what I learned today in the way of local knowledge.

Looking for a golf course thats in great condition. Try Hidden Greens near Hasting. Greens are in great shape, the course is in great shape. The management, staff and grounds crew are great to talk with. Friendly and inviting. Hidden Greens is a course you may need to shape a shot or two, or more... but fun to play. Excellent patio and other shaded areas to hang out with your friends after golf as well. I like the hole signage, good job putting those together. The par 3 9th is a great finish to the front nine. Maintained well, wooded but clean / clear under the trees.

Does short par 4s, but tough holes. Well maintained and good greens. Extremely pretty course and fun to play. Most of all great employees and a very pleasant experience.

Good parkland style course, greens and fairways were in great shape. Friendly staff and beverage cart service. Many dogleg holes, could be why it is called Hidden Greens. Great pace of play. Many trees give and advantage to those who keep the ball in the fairways.

I played Hidden Greens today, the course was in terrific shape! The greens were rolling true, the fairways were weed free and the trees were trimmed to the ground for a nice open look.The employees are happy and helpful. You can tell they are making an effort to make Hidden Greens a great experience for you.I haven’t been here in years. I will be back again this summer.

Well worth the drive from St Paul to play this well maintained heavily wooded parkland course. Don’t let the yardage fool you into thinking this will be an easy walk in the woods. You need accuracy more than muscle to hit your spots. Greens roll true and are in nice shape, better than many courses after this hot stretch we’ve just had.

I had never played here before, but I really enjoyed it. It was well maintained and pretty. It is a good place to play for someone just getting back into golf or experienced players. I would play here again.

Course is in great shape. The greens are in fantastic shape, although putting a bit slow. Price cant be beat. Leaves not much of a problem yet.

Talk about a fairy tale wedding venue! With the walk to the ceremony short but filled with cafe lights, a bridal party room for the guys and the girls. And lots of outside patio space. We just love our events at Hidden Greens!#Pictureperfect!

I’ve played Hidden Greens a number of times and it is always in good shape. It is an easy drive from Minneapolis and usually easy to get a tee time, the pace of play is normally always fast, and the course is well maintained. It is a great course!

Stellar views and settings. Amazing setting for events. The outdoor patio with fireplace and seating was especially welcome after our event for people to mingle and talk.

Its a nice golf club located on the south end of Hastings. I went there for a wedding and it was a great spot to host a couple hundred people. Food was nice relaxed atmosphere.

Had a dinner in the banquet hall and while I thought the course was very good, the hall was less than perfect. Construction seemed to have been done on a budget as there were no decorations to speak of. Bare walls, echoey large room and no ambiance at all. The echo was especially irritating with around 150+ people in attendance. It is a fixable problem though and I hope they do so.Lastly, the fire pit outside was great but the chairs were brutal. Even torturous.

Challenging and beautiful course for beginners to pros. Well kept and beautiful setting. Only watch out for roque balls from the driving range when on entrance road. ;)

The course was in very good shape, greens, tees, and fairways. The greens roll on the slower side, but that was no problem. The staff was very friendly, and the senior rates are great. Reccomend!

Pace of play was horrible. No rangers.

Went for a company party. The venue was so loud and echoed so bad that we were not able to have a conversation with the people seated at our table. I have added an extra star for their cool outdoor fire pit in the shape of a pentagram, would be great if you needed to conduct some type of ritual. Employees were delightful. Parking was easy, but it can be a little tricky to find the place, my GPS sent me to some guys driveway. Perhaps a sign from the road would be good.

The craft fair was nice, picked up a few gifts.

Attended my sisters Holiday party for River Valley Co-op. We had a great time. Love the outside gas fire pit!!

I have been playing Hidden Greens for many years. The condition of the course is excellent and it is truly a beautiful piece of land. The course is close to the metro (just outside of Hastings), yet has the feel you are far away. This course is a good test of golf and I suggest you give it a try!

We attended a wedding here. It was a really great facility, new and clean. I was really impressed.

Course was in great shape for this time of year. Always enjoy playing Hidden Greens in the fall with all the leaves makes it more of a challenge.

Hidden gem in Hastings. Course is always in good shape. Fun to play with friends and family. Challenging course will make you hit every club in your bag. Bring an extra sleeve of balls as you may take on some risk reward holes. Then finish your round with a cold Deschutes on tap.

Very odd behavior by the Course Ranger, Tom. After teeing off at the first hole, Ranger Tom stopped our foursome to explain how to replace divots (really?)...he then proceeded to stalk our group through the first seven holes. We were all decent golfers, I am not sure why we received the extra attention. Maybe because we were from out of town? This one star review is more for Ranger Tom than for the course. The course itself is fine.

Horrible experience with ranger and management. We were a group of six with two beginner golfers with us and had two tee times. The ranger heckled us for the first 5 holes asking us to speed shoot and skip holes. I asked for him to give us a refund and then we can discuss skipping holes. I paid money to golf, I have the right to golf all 18. When we talked to management at the turn he didnt care what we had to say. The funniest thing, there was a birthday party of 40 behind us that werent pro golfers either. Pretty sure the ranger didnt care about them being slow. I will never go there again and highly dont recommend bringing anyone just learning the game or to just have fun.

Fun course with a lot trees but you can find your ball most of the time. I would play this course again because it is challenging and fun.
