We did this for our small company retreat and it was amazing! The trainers are super friendly and gave us lots of confidence with the equipment. It was so much fun to play and tear up the ground in these. Highly recommend.

This was a great gift for my dad. He did an hour long experience with the excavator and said it was “fun as hell”. He can’t wait to go back and I’ve got gifts figured out for the next few holidays! Thank you to Instructor Jacob for making us laugh, we will be requesting you next time.

They love to get people in the machines and let them move some earth!Time flies when you are digging dirt! We booked a 2 hour session and the time flew by! We picked the excavator and the front loader and it was a blast! You get in the machine with a wireless headset which they use to guide you through the process and its pretty awesome!The best part was the headsets because you can brag about your abilities to the other people driving the vehicles and any spectators that are part of your group also get a headset to talk trash as well!And did I mention that you get to do a 360 full speed with the excavator and knock a soccer ball off a pile of dirt!The team at Extreme Sandbox will make sure you have a great time! If youve done an Escape room for team building, do Extreme Sandbox as well. You will love it!

Randy and Jake are great friendly people to work with. Had my level 1 training not too long ago and walk away with much confidence and knowledge with excavation. I will definitely come back for more advanced training or just to play with friends and family, its so worth it.

Fantastic time!!! We recently went to the Extreme Sandbox in Hastings for an afternoon of fun using a gift my wife had purchased for me. Although I had heard about this place I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. First thing you notice when arriving is all the equipment and the unique obstacles placed throughout…at this point you start to realize you’ll soon be in that equipment having a great time. We checked in for our classic sandbox package (1 ½ hours) and were directed to a conference room where we would be getting our instructions, watching a short video on the piece of equipment selected (I selected the excavator), and getting geared up. Once ready, Adam and I walked out to the “job site” and went through what was going to happen. They also have a couple of viewing areas that family and/or friends can watch from. Adam did a great job explaining what to expect and how to control the equipment. He was always communicating via headset what he wanted me to do and gently reminded me if I couldn’t remember what to move. After some instruction it was time to start digging. I got to dig a deep hole (simple but fun…just like a kid at the playground) and then hit a ball off the pile using the excavator bucket like a golf driver, knock tennis balls off cones, play a little excavator basketball and lift and move a car. Oh yeah, if you just want to spin in circles you can do that too! The hour in the excavator went a lot quicker than expected but it was an awesome time. Adam was a great instructor who kept me focused and made sure I was having fun at the same time. When it was over we were able to take some photos next to the equipment to remember the experience (this gives you a great perspective on how big the equipment is). Would highly recommend this to anyone who has always wanted to operate heavy machinery and even to those who aren’t sure…you’ll have a blast!

Got a package for my hubby for Christmas. I think the astronauts in the space station could see him smiling from above. We had a blast today. Our instructor Randy was amazing. My hubby got to dig, knock balls off pylons and best of all pick up a car with the excavator. Best time ever! Hes already planning a return trip with the guys. Now how the heck do I top this present next year lol!

This place is amazing! They keep an upbeat atmosphere and make sure you have fun. They use headsets to talk to you during the session. We selected the bulldozer adventure with Adam. He showed us what to do and kept us laughing the whole time. Well worth the money.

The Heavy Metal Drive-Thru Demolition was SPECTACULAR! It far exceeded my expectations. It was non-stop action, destruction and thrills. We all loved it - both kids AND adults! My face hurts from so much smiliing!! This is a must see event. Thank you for the incredible show!!

This place is soooo much fun. I went with a group of co workers and we had a great time. It was cold as heck, but no one seemed to mind. We got to use the excavator and the bulldozer. Both were incredible, but my favorite was the excavator. The staff was very accommodating and entertaining. They did a fantastic job of keeping us busy and engaged.An excellent team or group experience!

An amazing place with amazing staff. Had the time of my life. Got to drive all three machines and it was an absolute blast. Cannot recommend this place enough, you will have no regrets. Pure fun and excitement, gave me a lifetime of memories.

Considering what other vendor events Ive been invited to this will definitely not be an experience you will forget. Having said that its also likely a one-time event for most people since youre essentially just playing in the same small area of dirt after a while. They do have an obstacle course that you can pay for as individuals so I think theyd need to find a way to incorporate more of that into the experience for repeat visitors or large groups which would be awesome.

We had a FANTASTIC time at Extreme Sandbox. Our instructor, Jake, was wonderful - warm, friendly, calm, and super funny. The experience was a lot of fun for both those driving the excavator and those of us watching.

Great place for a team or group event. Team there was a blast to work with as they helped each of us learn how to use the machines and play for the afternoon. Loved the way they kept safety front of mind for all of us while still having a ton of fun. Highly Recommend!

My husband won the Dueling Adventures package at a charity auction and he chose to share it with his dad. They had a fantastic time in the excavators digging and playing golf, and as a spectator I had an amazing time as well. Jason was an excellent guide, had a great sense of humor, and did a wonderful job of getting us spectators involved, bantering through our headsets. In all we were a group of 7 with a 2 year old, whose little mind was blown watching his uncle and grandpa drive one of his favorite machines. Jason let the little one explore (closely supervised of course) the various machines and he had so much fun, as did the rest of us. A great family excursion!

Fabulous experience. Enjoyed every minute. Jason was our guide and instructor and and made it easy. We wanted to take our own photos, but we should have taken their reasonable photo package. Great time.

Today was my sons birthday who turned 3. I knew he couldnt ride the equipment but this truly fit his dump truck themed party. We drove an hour to come down. I have to say Matt at Extreme Sandbox gave him an awesome experience. My son was able to watch a customer drive the excavator. Then after they were done, Matt went to work to fill back the whole. All the while longer my son was having the time of his life. Thank you extreme Sandbox and thank you Matt. This truly made his birthday the much more special!

This was something my wife had wanted to do for some time so I bought her a gift certificate on the website. The transaction was seamless.Due to storms in the area, Randy personally called us to say that our originally scheduled time would he problematic due to lightning in the area. He promised to call us back as we were already on the way and sure enough, he did. We scheduled a later time and wandered around downtown Hastings for a bit.The training was actually fun and then it was out to the equipment. Excellent communication, and a fun obstacle course made the experience memorable.Great staff, great communication and doing something that we probably wouldnt made this a fantastic experience.

Did an excavator package this weekend with three visiting nieces as a surprise. Boy were they surprised!!! Great time. loads of fun, excellent cheerful and patient instruction, lots of laughs. You should really try to this experience!

What an awesome experience, I cannot recommend Extreme Sandbox enough. The staff were excellent with a great overview and instructions of our event. There were 4 of us that came to operate excavators and dozers and we all had a great time, big smiles all around, 5 stars!!!!
