The resort is very very good and one of a kind. If you want to have something unusual with kind surrounding view, this is the place to go. A lot of flowers, grass and all kind of decorated tree. Your eyes will enjoy it.Food wasn’t to good and the menu was short. We went to eat outside of the hotel.Beach is horrible so I won’t suggest you to go on the beach at all, you may just forget about it.Just because of land work, separated rooms and internal view I will decently go one more timeCones:Bad BeachBad food

Came with my husband for our anniversary and out trip was perfect. Wherever we went the staff wished us a happy anniversary. The outer beach boat ride was beautiful, and the romantic secluded outer beach was one of the highlights of our trip. On our last night the concierge Suzanne sent us a beautiful gift for our anniversary. Dont miss dinner at 28 Atlantic. We dined here on out last night . The food and view are amazing. Wequassett Resort is a wonderful place to stay for a romantic getaway or for families. The staff is extremely welcoming & professional . Great views and excellent food. This is a fantastic place to stay for a getaway!!!

The property is lovely and secluded from the rest of the town, which is nice to have everything that you need within the enclave. Overall, we were looking for a destination within a few hour drive that would feel like an actual vacation. The property offered that, but we would likely not return. If you have children it seems to be great but if you are looking for a few days of down time - it is not this. The pool chairs are completely full by 10am, the pool is overrun by little kids (to the point where you can’t actually get in), and the service was clearly overworked and understaffed. Both restaurants were clearly lacking in quality ingredients due to COVID. We both had stomach aches after twenty-eight and would not recommend it to anyone. People were wearing masks, there was hand sanitizer everywhere, and social distancing was encouraged. Overall, it was a pleasant stay but I would recommend going elsewhere as the cost and quality don’t align.

This resort was a last second addition to a trip to Boston. The resort was booked by my wife over the phone a few days before arriving.After arriving it was quickly obvious that we had packed the wrong clothing for the higher end dinning. We stay at the main pool area/beach for most of the stay due to this.Our room was number 30 and appeared to have 3 rooms connected in a square configuration. The room itself was large but a little dated. The doors connecting the other rooms were also a problem because the suits next to us could be heard almost as if we were staying in the same room as them.Most of the clientele at this resort appeared to be pretty uppity and rude to the staff. This really brought down the experience. A good majority of the people staying here are repeat guests and will look at you as an outsider. The staff does a good job of knowing the repeats but again this only furthers you as an outsider.The complimentary boat ride to the outer beach is a great experience and should be a priority if you stay.

Wequassett made our big day so special even during Covid and rain that morning. Kalson and his team went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was beautiful, ran smoothly and everyone was warm and happy. They exceeded our expectations, ensured my husband and I had enough drinks and food throughout the day, bustled my dresses multiple times, and really ensured that our needs were met from getting ready through the very end. I’m an expecting mother and the details and care in preparing my food and drinks was exceptional. Everyone that helped us through the planning and wedding went out of their way to stop by to congratulate us. From the warm welcome, the complimentary wine, cheese and snacks, champagne, cookies and sampling of breakfast foods, we felt truly special as newly weds even into the day after. We highly recommend Wequassett and the whole team to be a part of your special day. We can’t wait to go back and visit!

A really good resort for basically all ages. Has good restaurants, a heated pool, a golf course, tennis courts, even a okay place for kids. An amazing family vacation place and a great town near.

This resort was amazing! Surprised my wife with a quick getaway for her birthday! Hands down, she said it was the best birthday of her life! Our bellmen Dave was the best, he’s one of the reasons we want to come back to this resort! Everything was absolutely perfect!

I went there for lunch last weekend with my mother and a family friend. The whole experience was wonderful. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good and the view from the restaurant was sublime. Its a special place.

The beach is so rocky, we knew by coincidence that there are boats that take guests to the other side of the beach, and we should book it in advance! And they are fully booked,How will we know if you don’t tell us, and why can’t you accomodate your guests ? Why am I here if u can’t enjoy a nice beach?Very disappointed.

Honestly the best view in Cape Cod. Came here for dinner and drinks. We where a party of 5. The people working in this resort are extremely accommodating and helpful. They all carry a smile on there face at all time. The property is beautiful with breathtaking views and the landscaping is tastefully done. I would also recommend going on the boat that the resort offers, amazing experience.

Wequasett Resort is such a stunning wedding venue. We photographed and videoed Jillian and Matts wedding there this year and we were blown away by how beautiful and accommodating the venue was.Every inch of the resort was beautiful and immaculate and the staff were all so helpful and friendly.The views along the backside of the resort are perfect for a coastal wedding. The permanent tent is one of the prettiest and most unique weve seen, making for beautiful ceremony photos regardless of the weather.We highly recommend this venue if you want a sophisticated coastal wedding!

Good food, an ok service.

Do not stat in a lower level room. You will be able to hear everything up above. It was very loud. Beautiful place, but again very loud. There is no way the people at the propery dont know about this issue. You can hear walking, sneezing. Not conversations but conversations going on.

Everything about this resort is picture perfect. Im not sure Ive ever had better service in any other place Ive ever visited around the world. If you want the best, not just in the cape, but really.... anywhere, then you must visit Wequassett!

This place was recommended by our innkeepers. We arrived, parked, and began looking around when a doorman greeted us. In response to our inquiry about the lunch place overlooking the ocean, he offered us a short ride in a golf cart. The site and landscaping are absolutely gorgeous.Once we got to the restaurant, we asked if we could eat outside. No, but you are welcome to eat in our restaurant on the enclosed porch was the answer. And so we did. Very nice view of the harbor, but the people watching was just as good. Real or wannabe gliterati, tycoons, and preppy wealth surrounded us. We observed a young beauty who manged to make 3 shrimp seem like a Thanksgiving feast. This contrasted with her larger-than-life gold-chain wearing boyfriend who consumed oysters, fried calamari, and chunks of bread with abandon.For our lunch, hubby had fish and chips. The fish was truly special...a wonderful fresh flaky chunk of cod battered and fried to perfection. It came with a vinegary slaw that he liked but I did not and some good fries. I chose the summer salad and the fried cherrystone clam appetizer. The salad (small) was plenty, very fresh, tasty and satisfying. It also looked really nice. We both had iced tea...cranberry, cherry, hibiscus which was tart and refreshing. Total bill was $82.00 with tip which they build in. For some reason hubby slipped our nice and attentive waitress an extra $10.00. Guess he was feeling rich. Go and live it up for a few hours!!

It is my 4th time and husband’s 6th time at Wequassett, and we knew when we booked this would be a perfect destination to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary over a long weekend. Throughout our stay we were spoilt by the professionalism and personalized attention of every member of the staff to make this visit all the more memorable for us. Wequassett gets better each year we go, how often do you read that in a review? Book it, you deserve it.

Hotel staff (male) opened my door at 10:45pm at night without any notice.I got so scared and the frond desk told me that there was mis-communication with hotel staff. He was supposed to fix something at the another room!I asked the front desk for 1 hour late check out when I checked in. She approved. Next morning at 11am, male hotel staff knocked and asked me to leave. I had to explained all again to himI paid almost 600$ For 1 nightNo communication between staffs

If you can find an excuse to be at this resort, find it.

Pros: Great pool great for kidsCons: I dont know what to say about the cleaning service. They are quick and they do it twice a day. But we left some yogurts (unopened untouched) and a bottle of pills on the table and half an hour later, when we came back from the outside, they were all gone. Breakfast service, always missing something that we ordered. Then it took them long time to finally get everything that we asked for.

Today I brought my grandson to an authors’ luncheon at Wequassett Resort, looking forward to a special day in the gorgeous setting. My grandson has a peanut allergy so I spoke to a woman who was in charge of service a few weeks ago when I attended another authors’ luncheon and explained my concerns. She told me the kitchen would prepare a dish from him separate from the buffet. I was very grateful. Today when our table was called I mentioned it to the man who appeared to be in charge of service. He told me there were no peanuts in the buffet. I explained our concern for cross contamination. His response was “there are no peanuts in the buffet”. I told him my grandson wouldn’t eat. He was very unconcerned and walked away. Sadly, my grandson watched everyone at the table eat then quietly left for the men’s room. I feel the man I spoke to lacked compassion and could have made an effort to bring my grandson something - a dish of fruit, anything. Beware if you or a loved one has food allergies.

Spectacular resort. Expensive, yes. But worth every penny. Service is out of this world. They take care of every request (big or small) with a genuine smile. They make you feel like royalty.

A world class facility that happens to be on Cape Cod. This is 5-star across the board. The restaurant is absolutely spectacular, the service is downright Parisian (or better), the ambience (There is an ocean after all) is almost unmatched. Kudos to the chef, the staff, the lodging staff, and the management. Wequassett stacks up to any place in the world. Are there more luxurious? Sure. Better chefs? Probably. Better views? Yep. Doesnt matter. This organization and its grounds and facilities are world class and keep it that way day after day after day. Five stars.

Wequassett is a beautiful seaside inn with the ambience of classic Cape Cod. Set on a campus that runs along the Orleans coastline, Wequassett offers cottage like experiences for its visitors. The room style varies based on when they were updated. There are some very modern seaside cottages that have been recently updated and have fire pits. I stayed in a very clean, but slightly older king room #251 in the Petunia building. Dining and meeting spaces are extremely beautiful, with much more of an olde-world flair to them vs a modern cutting-edge vibe. Service is excellent and the staff aims to please at all times. The food is also very good. Landscaping and grounds were consistently beautiful as well. My big take away is that if you are used to modern, high-energy environments and are expecting that from Wequassett, youll be disappointed. However, if youre looking for older style Cape Code elegance, with a slightly slower relaxed pace set amongst beautiful grounds, with a gorgeous pool, ocean and dining area... then come on down to Wequassett. All in, I give the resort an A minus for experience and an A- for food.

Gorgeous place. Cappuccinos was the best. Food was good but very pricey. Lunch for 4 people was $270. Only 1 alcohol beverage ordered. But I would go there again. They catered to gluten free.

Great place to take children. Pool was great, beach was nice, staff is super friendly and food was excellent. Didn’t see where to recycle the massive amount of plastic bottles produced though.

The environment, the cuisine, landscaping, and most of all the PEOPLE have made our 1st time here exceptional. Accommodations are clean, Joy at guest relations is somebody I want to steal to come work for me. She is of many fantastic ppl that will keep us coming back.

Lovely resort. Staff exemplary. My room was a bit tired. Off season prices but if I was paying high season prices I would have been very disappointed. Water view not impressive at all. Amenities in room very good. Comfortable bed and bedding but felt like Grandma’s house. Bar was great. Bartender Victor was the highlight of my trip. Great service. Dining room is beautiful.

Amazing experience!! One of the nicest places I’ve ever been to. The main pool needs an update but other than that the place is so pretty and beautifully landscaped that it feels and looks like paradise! Our room 243 had a gorgeous view of the water, spacious room with a large and updated bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and amazing pillows (and I usually travel with my own).The kids club was amazing! Professional and friendly with fun and interesting programs for the kids.I can’t wait to go back!!

Hotel is beautiful. Rooms and amenities are top notch. Everyone was so helpful. We made a note on the reservation about needing a crib and within 5 minutes of check-in the crib was delivered and put together with the cutest bedding and a little stuffed animal as a welcome gift to our daughter. Great getaway for adults and children. Food was excellent and we had the added bonus of great weather.

Impeccable service at every level ,a pool for adults only in addition to the main pool .bed turn down and your room tidied twice a day, fresh towels twice a day. No limit on the # of beach towels you useGolf cart and driver to get you around the grounds if needed. Spectacular physical plantFree daily newspapers of your choice.Some suggestions: at least one grab bar in the shower. You do not have to be handicapped to use it. The fittest person can slip getting into the shower. Some kind of food/beverage service at the lap pool. There was none indicated the 3 days at that pool we were there.The facility binder guide in the room should be printed in ink of a darker color. Participated in a 4 day learning program. The location and nature around is gorgeous. The room was very comfortable with great water pressure and lots of room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant food (buffet) was relatively simple but well made and tasty.

This is one of the most incredible places on the cape. The dinner at Atlantic 28 is very high class and incredibly delicious. You can get drinks on the outside patio before where they have lounging couches and fire pits that look onto the sea. Definitely make a reservation at Atlantic 28 and ask to sit by the windows so you can watch the boats and the sunset. Such a beautiful place to spend an evening. The staff is incredible, always making sure you have everything you need and answering any questions that you have on the menu.

This was our first visit and will definitely not be our last! We had a remarkable time at the resort. The staff is beyond helpful and attentive to all your needs. My children were begging us to stay longer. The restaurants have amazing food and cater to children as well as adults. I cannot say enough nice things about our stay.

Lovely property, all staff, in restaurants and guest services, were exceptional.We stayed in a ground floor room that had another room above. Room was light and spaceous and well appointed.Only problem was the noise from above. Something needs to be done about dampening the noise. From the walking to the showering, not good. The carpets were looking a bit tired so maybe they can do something when they upgrade the carpets. Otherwise, great place. They do have cottages where there are no rooms above. Definitely recommend that.

What an utter treat and amazing surprise. I went here for my 35th birthday dinner with my parents and had no idea just how outstanding this Resort is. I can see now why it is a destination. The food was good, the presentation adequate. It was not that which left such a good impression, it was the wait staff and the other staff on duty that really created such an ambiance and experience. It made my birthday celebration so much better than I had anticipated. Beautiful gardens, amazing Vistas overlooking Pleasant Bay, and a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. We did not stay at the resort and as such were warmly invited by all staff as if we were. As such is open to the general public to go have dinner, and I highly suggest this for all locals or those staying in the area but not at the resort. A must visit.

The resort and restaurant (28 Atlantic) may only be available a small amount at a time but they still treat us like we Summer there lol. We had a magical day exploring the grounds and enjoying the splendor that theyve been forever known for a terrific night out at 28 followed by drinks and entertainment. I always meet the most interesting people (funny how many guys Ive had tell me or Ive overheard telling people they dont like to talk about it but their family owns the place when the alchohol starts flowing) LOVE IT!

We went for a wedding. Beautiful venue and great view of the ocean from most areas. Can be a bit difficult to move for those with wheelchairs or limited mobility, but there are employees who will drive you around in a golf cart. I enjoyed the seating areas with the fires going and further up, theres a large space heater. The room where our dinner was held was gorgeous, with glass windows for a continual great view outside. The only negative I have is that while we were waiting for our turn for the venue (we were fairly early), there was another gathering going on and Id feel uncomfortable having others able to look into our intimate gathering of family and friends. Its also a bit confusing where to go with most of the buildings looking fairly alike from the outside.

We went to Wequassett for dinner and drinks. We were a party of 8 and they were extremely accommodating. It was a wonderful atmosphere, the food was delicious, and our waiter was wonderful! We had Anton as our waiter. He was so pleasant and a pleasure to have! We had the crispy calamari along with many flatbreads. The food was enjoyed by all. I highly recommend grabbing appetizers, or a drink, or even a meal here. Also, another bonus is that the view is breathtaking!

Outstanding resort! The staff, grounds, and rooms are all exceptional. Every room has its own private entrance and private patio or deck. They offer their in house car service to guests if you want to head into town. Fresh cookies and seasonal beverages are always on hand at the desk. There is a childrens center by the tennis courts. The waterfront rooms are the way to go when you stay here!

Resort is beautiful but did not stay here - we came to Atlantic 28 to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday and the service from the time we were greeted to seated to served far exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent for both adults and children (we had 6 of them). The view from the lounge was exquisite, looking out into the bay. The staff made the dinner a night my family will always remember.

It would have been 5 stars all around... but the room was terrible. It was dark and smelly
