Great park, clean, shady, and a nice place to run! I love the main pavilion with the large double carcoal grills. We used it for our family Thanksgiving this year and had a great time!

Great place to play, walk, and just enjoy nature

Has to be one of the best small town parks Ive ever been in. Something for everyone. Frisbee golf, swings, soccer fields, creek with bridge, walking tracks and open spaces. Plenty of pavilion eating or open picnic tables. Multiple entrances so be sure to drive all around to find your ideal spot.

The disc golf course is amazing! There are actually two 18 hole courses that are well maintained. The park is very well taken care of and extremely child friendly!! My husband and I will definitely be coming back.

The childrens playground park is intended for little kids so my son was a little big for it but he really enjoy the Wide Open Spaces to run and be able to play and they have things set up for disc golf that was really interesting had nice walking trails it was just a very beautiful while taking care of Park

Two disc golf courses.. I always play the parkside course... Its a fun little course.. probably my favorite... Cant say anything about the lakeside course because Ive never played it... Hard to lose a disc on parkside... Its pretty dope...

This is a beautiful city park. Ball fields, two disc golf courses, a very long walking path, multiple playgrounds, sand volleyball, and picnic areas, and a small Creek and lake.. We had a blast playing disc golf. Very nice and challenging courses. Be sure to read the maps prior to starting your rounds.

Great for picnics-shaded tables and we enjoy watching the birds and squirrels. Great park!

We took our 3 year old granddaughter, 3 month old grandson and thier parents to the park today for the first time. They just moved to the area a month ago. They loved it. We had the best afternoon!

2 solid disc golf courses, a nicer soccer complex, etc. Its a nice family park with lots of fun to be had.

This is a great place to have a long walk with your dog, and if he likes to swim, the lake is there. I would like to see an off-leash dog park here also.

Something for everyone at this park: paved walking trails, pavilions, picnic tables, playground, adjacent to soccer fields and baseball fields. My favorite places are the rock strewn creeks and bridges. Great places to explore nature with little ones.

This park is amazing! Two well marked, fun disc golf courses, walking track that goes on and on and... , Stocked fishing pond with biting fish, active ball fields, very well groomed for guys and gal ball, aquatic center that is truly a gem. But most importantly, the people are incredibly friendly . Also, ball fields snack bars open and cooking up some great smelling food and ice cold Sweet tea is available. Get here. Youll love it!

Sparkman park has changed so much since I was little. They now have a pond, for the public to use for fishing. They also have frisbee golf..2 courses.

Kids liked it alright. Not alot to do

Public bathrooms, extensive walking trail, frisbee golf, a brand new fishing pond, several covered pavilions with seating, one with built in cooking areas (grills), picnic areas scattered around the park with standalone grills. Volleyball court, basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields, pet friendly with a leash and responsible ownership, lots of parking, shaded parking in rear, playgrounds for children. Well maintained park.

So many activities to do at this park. It has several baseball fields, walking trail, disc golf course, a playground, pavilions with grills, tennis courts, putt putt golf, and soccer fields. Come for play, exercise, picnicking, or just relaxes and watch nature.

I go to Sparkman Park with my grandbabies, wonderful place to go. They love it there especially going in the creek & catching tadpoles & crawdads. They also love playing on the playground. The park is also a good place to have birthday parties. They also have a walking trail which I do quite often.

Was there with East highland Baptist church for the end of vbs was a great time.

Nice place to relax and have a little time to yourself

With a walking/running path, frisbee golf course, outdoor playgrounds, and lighted pavillions, this place has something to do for every family.However, the outdoor playgrounds are in serious need for repairs. My family goes to the plastic one and some issues should be safety hazards. The fence line has kids shimying from one side to the other due to the fenceline not covering the whole perimeter. So, this has the potential for a fall from roughly 6 feet. Also, a plastic see though dome was removed on the playground but the component is still there. So, kids tend to lean over the hole potentially causing a fall hazard of about 4 feet. Adult supervision is a must. So, keep a VERY sharp eye on the kids.The outdoor trashcans around the playground arent covered. So, expect flys and wildlife.

I went to Sparkman Park for the first time in a long time. I was pleasantly surprised by how well maintained it was.

Quiet and convenient, great for family and friends to get together and have some fun.

Nice park with a disc golf course, mostly shaded. Walking trail, bathrooms (usually not opened during the winter though), picnic areas, pretty little creek that flows through. Well maintained by the City of Hartselle. Nearby soccer, baseball, and softball fields.
