Went to do a order online pickup but the manager was plain rude on 11/07/2020 at around 9:08am at the Michael’s on 319 N. central Avenue hartsdale, NY 10530...I greeted her said good morning where can find the in store pick up? She came with a attitude like WHAT? not even a excuse me sir..But I held my composure got my things said thank you have a good day with no response...Just a attitude on her face.
Was great, tho I didnt really find what I was looking for. Fantastic for the creative person.!!!!
Nice store, I live close by and the sales people are nice but sometimes very busy to help you. The people of the register are nice. Keep up the good work.
Love this place. If you start a business, or just have fun hobbies, this place is great. If you got the creative bug you must come here
They always have what my wife wants and needs and she can always use her 20% off coupons when she gets online. She also likes the fact that the staff is so competent and helpful. There are very good clearance items, as well.
Great deals. A great Variety of Christmas decorations.
Very handy stool to have nearby. For all sorts of crafts and projects. I wish they had more stuff sometimes its hard to find things.
Always fun to walk into a Michaels especially after not being there in over a year. Reasonable prices and I can find pretty much everything I need to craft something at home.
Michaels has beautiful things but pricey, but as of right know Christmas decor are 40 percent of
Their stock was low as far as wool goes . Its still a great plce!
Its a michaels. Stocked well. Neatly organized.
Great deals! I had the nicest cashier
Just love this restaurant. Had a wonder and funny waiter, and the food was excellent
I love this place , very clean and nice staff .
Lots of things to keep you busy. Their prices are a bit too high, but if you can wait for a sale they offer some pretty good deals.
Its Michaels. Decent selection of art items. Watch for sales as prices are high.
Not a lot of inventory... not able to find what we wanted. Staff is very friendly. Tried to help.
UPS access drop off site... 2 stars because UPS dropped the ball
Great prices on sales items.
Its a pretty decent place. Nice stuff there, but its pretty overpriced, so if youre looking for somewhere cheap, dont go here.
Very cozy, friendly workers, clean establishment; highly recommend!
Its really a great store to get all the wedding items you are really looking for and it has a lot of arts and crafts for the kids
Has everything I need. More cashiers would be nice.
They are taking great precautions to ensure a neat and clean environment, including spraying and wiping down the register area after each customer. They are friendly and helpful as usual
Organized and very friendly staff.
Jennifer in Framing has an excellent aesthetic sensibility. She has helped me, an Artist to choose the appropriate matting & framing to enhance my hand drawn illustrations for exhibitThis is due to her keen sense of color anddesign. She understands that the frame extends the story of my art work. Jenniferis a role model and strong asset for Michaels.
If you need it as far as crafts are concerned they have it!!! Good sales on holiday items and great prices. Always enough parking and helpful staff!
It was fine. Typical Michaels.
Great selection of arts and craft items.
Ive seen better Michaels elsewhere. Not much of a selections of yarn
Nothing like keeping busy with crafts during the pandemic
A bit of a mess. But all in all. Good to go
Usually 4 people in here but there are 5 chairs, so yes it does get busy. Get here early. Wait time is not that bad. Good quality braiding. Hair available- range from $0-25/per pack. But no regrets.
I am a regular shopper here mainly because I always do crafts. But there is this one cashier, everytime I go in, she always gives me an attitude. Has white hair, not pleased.
More spacious and more inventory than other locations in the NY metro area. Organization was a bit chaotic, but its the Christmas holiday season so hard to fault them for that this time of year. Check out person made using coupons extra easy.
Found what I went in for. No one helps you not nice at check out either
Customer service was just OK.A couple of them did not know where I could find some items.
Well stocked. I always find what Im looking for here. Spring items are in... pretty.
They had a 60%off sale on green dot items
Very good
My favorite place
Great prices for beads, great labeling and price scanners always work. I took one star away simply because they dont offer many chunky bead styles and more times than not the bead sections are a mess.
Couldnt find what l needed
Always a great place to get creative. I recycled old cards into new Christmas cards
Everything you would need for DYI holiday decorations. Reasonable prices too. Crafts galore. Free parking and nice staff.
Had a custom frame project and the service was great. The associate was knowledgeable and patient with us as we picked out all the details. Highly reccomend
This is my one stop shop for customer framing my art prints. Spent a good amount here so far, but they always give me a great deal.
It is a very good store for all of your arts and crafts projects. They have basically everything you need here. One thing I don’t like is how they always have long lines but I guess that’s just because other people want to buy stuff. They also do a very good job with custom framing at affordable prices. Good place to go for arts and crafts.
Michaels Arts & Crafts is The Most Impressive, Well-stocked, decently priced, Multi-dimentional Art Store I personally have found in the Westchester area. You will find anything from knitting for grandma, to Earth Science solar system kits for your child, to oil or... acrylic or... alcohol based Markers for your self or the art lover you know. Baking goods as an Art, yes fondant and molds all of it, and also papercrafting supplies of any kind and sort for every and any occasion or holiday. They have embellihments galore; boxes for jewelry or for making. Card board or wood items, already made or cut to build, for painting or staining. Every week the flyer can get you up to 40%-60% off any item not already marked down AND check this out; with every reciept you can do a survey printed on that receipt that can earn you another 25% off on sometimes an entire purchase or another higher priced item! You can bring a smart phone and show the discounts, from the flyers, up on your phone when you are at the counter or shopping online. Also when you are a Michaels Rewards Member and have a card or number for your account or email associated with an account for Michaels Rewards they email you more and more discounts that can be combined with the flyer discounts as well and yes the survey discounts too. I once walked out with an easel well worth 1200, it was the best one they had...not a table easel they have those for 30 dollars..this was a Bob Ross with chair and accessories. That easel after planning properly cost me 500 plus tax. I did a 60% plus 25%. I didnt think they would go for it. They said only things on the back of receipts cannot be discounted because they are already at that companies low price. I was like wow. I was an avid city go-er for a long time but then there was Michaels first just went to get a few things I thought would be decently priced, since the easel was with the discounts, but then found a world of value and quality that I can say has improved the overall appearance, speed, and value of my personal work. In finding myself with more time because I could just order and pick-up same day. With more money in pocket, because I was able to get good quality material more affordable than before so my process itself was gradually growing a lot faster and more easy to accomplish because of shopping at Michaels Arts & Crafts that the phrase starving artist has come to be a joke in my life rather than actual fact, as it was before. The media I needed to paint turned out to be there, not by name but, by quality and my own standards. Which in turn started me being able to use more of it and expand my horizons with my painting and paper crafting, creating and achieving more than I had before by almost double. The products they use are artists tested and approved for their consumers and I for one didnt believe... Until I went there, asked the differences, bought a few things, and tried it myself. Schools will always try to get you to buy the best name the brand does not make the artist. The practice does. In finding that the same ingredients are made for the same products but for different company brands and are sold differently in price because of things other than quality, quantity, value and standard...well it was enough for me to switch a few things. First find what you love to use in your art. Then figure out what you can afford. To keep up the creative process, figure out where you can get the best value for what tool or media inspires you to create at your best. Then get a few different kinds. Test them all for quality, standard, quantity and value for your art. For me finding a haven of utmost useful tools and the advantages of using them in my work has paid for itself triple in the first year. Good luck. Never stop creating.
Lots on sale but full of empty slots/shelves.
Michaels is another store where I always find what I need
Friendly staff, organized selection, great variety, plus great deals on Central Ave. Flowers are all half off (even the good stuff). Members get extra 20%... Rack up! Love this location.
Fun place 2 explore your crafty side- coupons weekly make the prices even better.
It was great
If you are into crafts and need something then you will probably find it here. I bake and I was looking for offset spatulas. Sure enough they had them even if they were a little pricey. The good thing was that I didnt have to run all over the place to find them which saved my time, the gas and wear an tare on my car and my sanity. I used to get coupons from here but I stopped receiving them cause I dont shop a lot here because I don t need a lot. Yet when I do need something I dont have the coupon which would be nice. When are stores going to learn that! A small discount on their already overpriced merchandise wouldnt hurt even if I dont shop often because next time I will think of this store first! Maybe this is why brick and mortar stores are losing out. You corporate people, chew on that for a while! Excellent service keeps stores in business!
Great selection, but frames were a bit pricey
The line can be long but great prices on frames
Out of stuff in many areas
Large store, everything you need to support your hobby. Ample parking. A little slow at check out but otherwise an enjoyable experience everytime.
Its an arts and craft chain, youre gonna get what you expect. Staff are nice enough, if theyre not busy, and generally know where everything is. Unfortunately, any advice on how to use it is... Sparse. Im an illustrator and model hobbyist, so while their selection is great for crafts, floral arrangement, and general doodads you wont find much in terms of higher quality paint and canvas. Youll want to look elsewhere for specialized materials.
Is really fun. Go make your own mini sake cup and rice bowl. I am for sure going back for the class again. Our teacher Theresa is very nice and patient to all of us. ( Even I mess it up twice...)
Ive never had a reason to go into Michaels until my mother in law came over to visit. She knits and I remembered that Michaels is a craft store. And I will say, it is a heck of a nice craft store.Really loved seeing all the art supplies, seasonal items and other things that made the store stand out.The only complaints I would have is that the outside front of the store is bleh compared to the inside. What I mean is that there is not much display outside of merchandise or banners. But thats just me.
I went in to get some frames. Found them at a discounted price. Waited on the longest line, with the slowest cashier for 20 min to tell me those frames are double than what it said. I told the cashier nevermind, but went back and looked again. Where the frames were, WAS the discounted price I thought. Either she didnt know, or the price tag was placed in the wrong place or whatever the reason was - i walked out of there empty handed and wasted 30 min for nothing. Will not go back.
Good parking! A great craft store...
Extremely overpriced no reason for it same exact stuff on eBay at least half the price for the same exact stuff!!
Liked it a lot. First time I ever went. My mother always liked it apparently. The prices were very good and the stuff was very nice.
Staff were courteous and helpful. The sales assistant I believe her name was Mary was really helpful in picking out a frame for my art
Good representation of a typical Michaels crafts store. It was a little hectic but what place isn’t during the holiday season. There were enough store workers to help me if I had wanted help. The checkout line was very long but quite quick because there was maybe 8 clerks working. I will go here again for my crafts needs.
Everyone is wearing masks and the employees are sanitizing
This place was good
Because I found anything that I neede
Love going just to look around. The have great Halloween stuff already
My mom loves this place, at 81. If you are someone who enjoys creating things, this place is the right choice. Whether it is for you, someone else or the kids, this place brings out the best in creativity. It is conveniently located in Hartsdale, NY on Central Avenue at the White Plains border. Parking is great. Always busy. This is evidently a great place to shop!!
Nice store. Everything very organized and easy to find. Excellent variety. Prices are okay
You can find anything you need for crafts, painting, stationery, pastry. I LOVE THIS PLACE
I didnt like the bathroom the slope was bad
All your hobby needs.
Went looking for baking supplies. The aisles were a complete mess. Nothing was stocked. And things were in the aisle that belong in other departments. It looked like no one bothered to clean during the day. No store should be that messy.
No oil painting paper and theyre lacking in oil painting supplies. Pretty disappointing, honestly, as a painter to go to an art store with lacking supplies.
Plenty of Christmas items
Friendly service
Very clean organized store.
Great customer service, prices and products
Comfortable, a pleasant place 2 shop
Love this lovation for meetups and crafts!
You keep giving me these coupons and I keep telling my therapist about it yet I still end up in your store constantly. DISSAPOINTING.
I stayed in this store for 2 hours, I love it
They have everything you could possibly need for crafting. The store is clean and organized. The only downside is that sometimes they dont have enough cashiers available causing a long wait even when the store is not crowded.
We really enjoy going to this store because we love arts and crafts stuff. Also, they always have some offers going on and you will find really interesting stuff for a very good price!
Great variety something for everyone must see for Crafters and home decor
Great place for all your crafting needs
The store is clean and everything is easy to find.
Need more selection on markers. Markers are never in stock. The loose ones are dried out because people sample them. Associates need more knowledge of what they sell and where to find it. Prices are decent but not like the former AJ Freidman stores that went out of business. Paint can be updated as well.
Good sales and good service
Amazing price great Customer Service
Great art supplies spot
I always have a good shopping experience at Michaels and today was no different. There was no trouble finding what I was looking for and despite a long line, the checkout was smooth and quick. They usually accept all coupons.
