Trails are clear and neat. Park staff is helpful and friendly. Amazing to walk and see all the wildlife.

Super long boardwalk to beach from parking lot. Im not lazy, but when youre hauling a child and all of their beach gear, its a bit much. Beach shoreline is also all rocks, along with some basketball sized boulders in the shallows. So be aware, and bring water shoes. Otherwise fairly clean.

Ran the Vets Day 5K there on the roads. Very well maintained and scenic

A beautiful space. We flew kites in the open field. The picnic areas are shaded by huge old trees, and even on a hot day it was comfortable. Worth the $5 admission.

This is a great park for hiking. Trails that meander through the woods and meadows and a nice boardwalk that leads down to the beach.

Had a grad/birthday party there, guests were impressed with the all the offers of the beach camping, rental shelters, volleyball courts, hiking and nearby grocery and Walgreens stores. Sentry store high marks for picnic supplies grills and ready foods. This is the best park with al, that it offers!

Great place to be year round, but this review must be prefaced by the fact that its $5 to park per vehicle. They take cash and credit.This park is huge, with flat fields for sports, woods and trails for hiking and running, sites for both camping and picnics. There is plenty of parking regardless of the activity. Throughout the year many events are hosted here, including road races in the winter. There are both primitive and modern facilities for restrooms and drinking water throughout the park. Its great to have a park like this so close to home.

My family loves coming here. The beach is nice and the the playground it super close. Theres shade and lots of picnic tables. Great for a summer evening picnic. Usually not crowded in the evenings

Quiet, well maintained, clean and friendly.

My family has gone camping every year, twice a year for 30 years. Gradually the group camp sites have degraded. This year, I arrived to find trash in site 5, the fire pit beyond full of ash, and two dead pine trees standing in the site with a plethora of dead trees along the perimeter. Much of the parks money goes towards the beach and soccer fields which, to their credit, are very nice. That being said, the rangers are always very kind and the outhouses stay fairly clean. The park is not beyond redemption, but it needs some love this fall to bring it back up to snuff. Its a perfect park for the Milwaukee family who wants a break into nature, even though the grocery store is a mile away. But for my family, its time to move to a more remote site.TLDR: Worth a trip for the beach. Group camps need love but are alright. Price does not reflect quality.

Nice bathrooms, actual toilets not pit toilets. Open area where we played our tournament was nice grass. The lake right there in the park is great too!

Huge park with a $5 entrance fee! They are in correspondance to the Waukesha County Park System, so it includes a lodge, legacy forest trail, and more. There is a public boat launch on the Southeast end of Lake Nagawaukee, but its not incredible large or anything. Be wary of the times you visit! Also, there are campsites, but Im not sure what the fees are. They are modest sites that I believe supply electric/water, and most seem like they have some sort of inground/steel framed campfire. There is plenty of wildlife as well! White-tailed deer, small and large birds, and of course small mammals such as squirrels and chipmunks. There are multiple trails inside of the park as well that wind through the forest and around the campsites. Id suggest trying out the camping here, it seems like a beautiful place to visit come Summertime!

Quiet and hidden beach to enjoy

Great national park to camp, picnic, simple hiking. Great to bring family, friends, and pet friendly. My dog love it and we hike for hours. I would said that the beach is smaller than I suspected and loading dock for the boat is quiet small than I suspect. Do suspect a wait when you go to unload your boat. The lake is great. Also, bring a schooler for your kids cuz you will have to walk from the park down the hill on a pathway to the beach. This may take you from 10 to 15 min.

Always a great place to hike, camp and a clean beach to boot. Its very Rocky in the water but the water is clean.

Pretty good place,quiet. Was nice that the park rangers came around with firewood. As a kayaker a bit of a challenge launching. Had to unload and drive a bit to park in upper lot sice you cant park near launch if you dont have a trailer.

Great Park! Loves this park/beach. Nice spot for fishing, swimming, and letting the kids play! Beautiful and well maintained! Gets a little crowded in the parking lot down by the launch but that is to be expected....definetly worth coming to see and enjoy all naga-waukee park has to offer!

I went camping here not to bad with mesquitos but horrible with spiders I even seen a wolf spider crazy I know. Rangers keep to them self and the park staff are all very polite.. showers I believe are cleaned Dailey or at least the floors lol... Nice showers be ause you can control the temp of the water and dont have to keep pressing for the water button you turn on and turn off your self ... They have three vending machines one with ice cream one chips one drinks always fully stocked ... Good fishing if you can find a spot to fish I caught a huge northern (Great Catch) biggest fish I caught in my life (not huge but it was nice for casting and first bite only fish I caught but Im gonna talk it up ... People are super friends worst thing was all the freaky spiders they give the most wood for the price...

Very clean, nice restroom facility right there. Secluded areas so you are not on top of other groups. Lots of shade and just an overall great place. I enjoyed my 60th birthday party there very much.

Very nice park but expensive, went to Naga-Waukee park to run a 5k and there was a $5 charge to enter. Nothing against giving money to our parks but $5 seems a little steep to be there for 2 hours.
