Great, character-filled theater. Went to see a movie, and it was a lovely experience. Good selection of snacks & drinks as well.

Great theater. I enjoyed the old time feel of the theater with updated seating. They show lots of specialized showing that you dont see in the regular theaters. Dont miss out on this valley gem.

It was a nice cozy theater. The sound system was excellent. It would have been nice if they had bigger bathrooms.

The Diary of Ann Frank was one of the most impactful and meaningful theatre experiences of my life. The acting in this Valley Playhouse rendition is extraordinary. It is a must see performance!

The pictures do not lie! Clean and well kept. Very friendly and helpful staff and excellent movie choice. As somebody from out of town this local gem will stick in my mind as a highlight of my vacation! Would recommend to anybody seeking a unique and charming experience.

Great local theater! They show fantastic independent films that you wont see at the large corporate theaters, host local theater and musical performances, and do a lot to contribute to the success of local arts.

Watched Leave No Trace movie. Loved the movie. First time to Court Square Theater, loved the experience, loved the people. Very friendly.

People are great. Stage is huge, great for a large cast. Dressing area is small, so backstage organization is a must.

Was there for Bluegrass music tonight.. which was awesome . They double sold my parents seats..... not happy.. we have been going to bluegrass music there since 2001 95% of the time ... this has never happened before .... they put new seats in and the new manager double sold the seats.... my parents had their tickets for 2 months......This other couple 1month.... they got to stay in the seats... they didnt offer to give my parents the money back.. not Happy.

Wonderful one screen movie theater showing first run and Indy type movies as well as offering live music shows on stage. Staff is very friendly. Wine and beer available with popcorn and sweets. New seats are scheduled to be installed soon.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Harrisonburg, Court Square Theater serves as a much-needed hub for independent films, plays, concerts, and other live performances.I recently saw Loving Vincent, the art cinema biopic detailing the complex life of famed artist Vincent van Gogh, with some friends. It was a great viewing experience. Cozy and comfortable.CST certainly plays a major role in keeping art alive and well in the Shenandoah Valley region! Definitely planning to make it a regular part of my weekends.

Nice art house theatre. Due to the pitch of the seats, avoid sitting towards the back of the theatre as you will be staring at the top of the head of the person in front of you.
