I went as a guest, but it seems well worth the yearly dues. Cheap and free kettle corn! The bar tender was friendly and attentive.

Harrisburgs oldest, private social club, its fun to stop down and see everyone. The drinks prices are pretty much unbeatable and I always say it might take you 10 minutes to get a drink when you first walk in, but thats because youre too busy saying hello to everyone rather than slow service. It is a private club, but those interested in membership can usually call or e-mail and get a tour, which often results in an offer to be sponsored. It can get a little smokey, but you can leave your coat in the coat closet by the front door and the Game Room tends to be less smokey than the bar. The Cathedral Room in the former sanctuary (the clubhouse used to be a church) is a really neat venue for parties. All in all, its a very charming part of Harrisburgs history and a great place to hang out.

Best place in the city. It once solved an algebra problem that I couldnt figure out. It crafted a lightsaber for Jesus. He was grateful. Zepplins second album is loosely based upon a Saturday night Jimmy Page spent there. Scientists are convinced it invented time travel but wont share the secret for caution that someone will alter the timeline. Free popcorn! A dinosaur once challenged it to a fight. There arent anymore dinosaurs. Its rumored that it sired Ryan Reynolds. That dude is awesome. Its the reason why the letter y cant figure out whether its a consonant or a vowel. One time, it slapped me on the backside and said, What up, playa. It was the best day of my life. To summarize, its pretty awesome.
