My boys celebrated their 12th and 13th birthday here and they absolutely enjoyed themselves. They staff and owner was awesome. They had everything set up when we arrived and helped with everything during the party. All we basically had to do was show up which was perfect for me because I was the only adult and the staff member jumped right in and helped me out. And the price was very reasonable. Its a great place for family fun. We will definitely keep going.

I visit for the 7-11pm skate on saturday nights. I enjoy this time very much and Im welcomed to a great experience each time I visit. Very inviting and family friendly atmosphere.

I am rating 5 stars because all of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. A lot of teenagers seem to hang out here often. I will say that the building is kind of old, and the skates are worn out from years of use. But you will still have a great time. So it shouldn’t matter! They play great music and have random games on the skating floor for the skaters to play, such as skate races, couples skate and much more.The prices are reasonable for entry and they do have a snack bar.

My son was invited to a birthday party at Texas Skateland. The environment was clean and safe. I was greeted as I walked in the door with a smile. The music was child friendly and the staff makes this location very inviting. I would recommend this place to anyone that want their children to skate in a respectable, clean and safe environment..keep up the good work!!Thank you,Sheila David

Great area for birthdays parties for older children but if you are under 3 yrs old its really not much to do. My granddaughter skated for awhile but was scared when she went out. Loved the baby skates once she put them on not as afraid. Will come again with older children.

My son loves going there. I do wish they were open more than just the weekend. The owner is very nice.

My grandchildren go almost every weekend they have a good time and the people that own the place look out for the kids that are there. There are other skating places but this is the one they like to go to

Ok music selection. I think they need new skates and they could benefit from fixing or updating the rink floor. I sure wish they had an adult skate night. Theres way too many obstacles (small children) for me. The owners are super cool, though!

Younger Brothers birthday only had 4 other kids going, went with the kids and my parents. As an adult sibling I had to pay full skate price to enter, even though I was just observing. When my dad wanted to skate with my youngest sibling, he was not allowed to use my fully paid for ticket. Went to the front and the owner then argued that as an adult I had to pay to enter, which is fine. But a paid skate ticket shouldn’t matter who wears the skates.Bad business. Tiny rink, run down. Looks like the only thing the owners have updated in the past 40 years are their pockets.

Its a great place for family fun

I went to this place for the first time and I gotta say, by far my favorite skating rink Ive been to! Not only does this place have AC but it doesnt smell like feet! The staff is friendly, and so are the other patrons. Usually when you go to a skating rink its hot and stuffy, it smells, and everyone is rude. Not at this place! Ill definitely be going back!

My child wants to be dropped off, (middle school ager)are we sure they cant just leave without a parent? She has been there over the summer and has had a blast but it was supervised by the daycare.

Great people for the entire family from ages 5 and up. The owner and employees are always interactive with customers and genuinely kind. I wont give them 4 stars because the food is mediocre and snacks are extremely overpriced. This is the only skating rink that is still open as all of the others too include the one on Fort Hood has closed down. Kids can be dropped off on Saturdays. The staff will not let the kids leave until parents arrive; which is a plus! Parents whom arent skating can stay and watch for free. Entry for everyone is $10.

Trash skates worn all the way out look like they been re-stitched by them just so they dont have to buy new skates. Rink is small barely enough room to move around and not knock over kids

Were currently here for a birthday party. Parents get in free. We came with three children in addition to the one child that was invited. We knew wed have to pay an additional fee for the oldest because she wanted to skate as well. We were told wed have to pay $8.00 for our 3 year old who would not be skating to enter. My husband took the baby and the 3 year old back to the car. After getting skates I requested a skate trainer. I was told its an additional $5 fee. In my opinion Texas Skateland could definitely do better. If I were able to comment without giving any stars I definitely wouldve.

Place is a bit run down. Half the walking floor is cracked or has holes, arcades are barely functional, and the corners of the skating floor is a storage area. Theres even a toilet seat hanging in the ceiling for decor. Im afraid to go to the bathroom.

A kid friendly environment. Every person that works in the facility was kind and had compassion for each child. We had our onldrst daughters birthday there it went great it was a small area but as long as the kids had fun everyone was happy.

I didnt appreciate the way pick and choose whos able to do what. I have a two year old son who is not comfortable with skating. They have a skating rink full of kids they have made money off of. After talking to several other parents here with kids who arent skating.I was the only told to be sure my two year old did not get in the bounce house either since I did not pay for skates. There was no price given to me for him just to skate whichnwould have been OK with me.Our church has had several family nights here and I was very dissapointed in the treatment given today. The gentleman at the door i definitely would not have stayed.I ended up getting my child skates and then I was told I could not walk w him on the floor without skates but there are several other parents doing it and no one said a word to them. If the rule apply for one it needs to apply for all.I will be bringing up these matters so that we can reconsider holding our church skate functions here. I am very disappointed. After all the years of coming here it saddens me to see it coming to this.

Ive lived here all my life and when i was little this place was like the club for kids. This was the hangout spot that everyone wanted to go to. Still today i enjoy going there and the people that work there are amazing. I love it.

They need people working the floor. Children were going in all directions, older kids were cutting across the floor making it dangerous for inexperienced skaters. The skating area itself is used as a storage area. Danger rink!!! Signs say not responsible for accidents but the cluttered floor makes accidents likely.

The website does not have hours of operation, very inconvenient.

I threw a huge birthday party for my son here recently. I planned it out MONTHS in advance and rented the entire building out to accommodate our party. I got multiple complaints from my party guests that the owner was beyond rude to them! She made comments about some of the names on the guest list about how they were too hard for her to pronounce. My guests heard comments about her complaining about the buffet I served to my guests. I had a lady come in to make a Balloon Arch for us and she informed me that the owner was inquiring about how much “all those Balloons cost” and when she told her she made a comment that “she feels jipped” because of how much she charged me to rent the building- which apparently she felt like wasn’t enough at that point. She questioned how much my magician costed because apparently the city hired him during the summer and she wanted to know how much of our tax dollars were being wasted on that. Extremely unprofessional! Its none of her business how much my vendors charged me! It’s not like she was wanting to give them any business!I offered to buy her building out for additional hours months in advance to allow us extra set up and clean up time to which she immediately refused stating that she wasn’t going to throw a 5 hour party but after the party she had the audacity to complain that it took us too long to leave. HELLO LADY, I TRIED TO PAY YOU! We never leave anywhere dirty!! Not only that but I didn’t have enough time to set up for our party which caused me undue stress even though I asked months in advanced for extra set up time (that I was willing to pay for) She was just overall purposely extremely unaccomodating even though I rented the entire building so that we could be accommodated!!The only thing that made me not get too angry was her son, Steve who worked really hard to make our party a success! I can’t say enough good about him but due to how myself and my guests were treated by the owner, I would never give them my business ever again! I’ll be planning my son’s next birthday somewhere our money is appreciated! I’m just so grateful that my son never knew the difference and he enjoyed his party.

This place is good wholesome fun for tweens and teenagers. I love it. My daughter goes almost every weekend. I feel she is safe dropping her off, where she can skate and be surrounded by friends her age. The kids are watched pretty well too. Parents have to pick up their children inside. I am going to have my daughters BD party here because she loves it here so much.

Owner was very rude and complained about running a babysitter service to justify charging people not skating during birthday party. Worst experience ever.

I absolutely love this place. I meet new people every week. It makes me happy to meet new people and make new friends. It makes me ecstatic to meet new people. Just like I like to say, new people, new experiences.

Only went to this facility because it was a closer drive than Temple, but wont be going back. Admission was reasonable ($8). Skate trainers were extra ($5). The facility is in need of sprucing up. All corners of the skate floor were used for storage including extension ladders separated from skaters by Orange cones. Decor included a fully decorated xmas tree (it was spring break). Management is overly concerned about my toddler bringing in water and me helping her learn to skate while I wasnt wearing skates, but absolutely no concern for skaters going same direction which caused several safety incidents.

Had a fun time but it smells like B.O. in the building

I like this family owned only skate rink in Killeen. They monitor the kids, no horse playing inside or outside. No outside food, because they are trying to make a profit. I didnt have to worry about my children because the owners keep an eye out on everyone.

Both my daughters had their parties there and they loved it. Wonderful owners and they take pride and care of the teens and children that are under their roof.

Horrible horrible horrible. No air conditioning at all. Went for a birthday party for my nice and my sister was very unhappy. The old owner lady was basically stalking us the entire time. The party was for both my niece and nephew. She bought an extra cake for my nephew and the old lady starts snooping looking pissed off. The was no attendant when we needed things. No organization at all. The place is horrendous. It smells like an old VFW american legion. There was a toilet seat hanging from the ceiling and dont forget the Christmas tree. Ugh.

Smells like cat pee. Rink floor is literally rotting around the walls. Management is a JOKE. Horrible customer service. Skates were broken and didn’t latch correctly, HUGE safety hazard. Place is DISGUSTING!

Old & overpriced and left me unimpressed. Very much a local family run tradition that is failing to keep up with the times. The owners wouldnt let us take our own rollerblades without modification even though there was no way they could scratch the floor. Decided to go to Temple from now on.

That place reeks of dog urine. Smells like it was an animal shelter before it became a skating rink. The kids party packages are a total joke. I would not go back there especially to invite other ppl for a kids party. A lot of the kids skate straps are broke. My son had to switch out 3 times and still the third one was broke. That is a safety issue 4 kids or adults 4 that matter. Not impressed at all

Smelled really bad, looked moldy, nasty bathrooms. No safety personnel on the floor or rules. The owner look like nice folks who care about safety but this establishment need to close to fix up a lot.

Skates are in poor shape and they wouldnt let us use our own. Its still a fun experience but they could improve the way they do things.
