Best cafe in the area -for chill vibes/calm atmosphere. Great almond croissant! Pour over coffee. Espresso based drinks. Art pictures and graffiti. Many cultures of people intermingling. Good coffee brewing process. Kind staff. Good culture for the area!

Hours of operation update.....It sucks that I drove her excited to try a new place with great reviews only to arrive and the cafe is closed for holiday hours. It would be very helpful if at a minimum Google were notified of office hours. Sigh.....Im off to find average coffee I guess.

One of my favorite cafes in the Detroit area. Consistent cappuccinos, great conversation with the owner, and a very pleasant atmosphere. The art on the walls is super cute, and the pastries they serve are delicious.

Fantastic experience! The coffee was great, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is so chill. I was blown away by the inside, with the high quality local art displayed, mid century modern touches and tons of space. That said, the back patio is where I ended up hanging out and it was wonderful! It was quite-septated space and with beautiful robust planters on a cool summer morning. A great way to enjoy a morning coffee.

Awesome small Arabic food restaurant. Food is outstanding and the prices are even better! I highly recommend this restaurant! Its not very large so if you want to eat in give yourself some time but I generally get orders to go and they are quickly prepared, unbelievably fabulous and priced so low you wont believe it! Go there youll never be disappointed

This place is absolutely perfect! The coffee was amazing, same for the pastries. The owner is so friendly and knows a lot about other local businesses. And the music they were playing in the background complemented the place in such a pleasant way. The entire place has a good, good vibe, I just wish it was closer to my house in Farmington. Well definitely be back.

If youre into downing your coffee on the way to work, avoid this place. It takes its cues from the Bosnian approach to coffee culture: you sit, chill, and talk. Or work, if you want. Nothing feels rushed, which makes the atmosphere relaxing and a great place for meeting with friends for a catch-up over great coffee and delicious pastries, or for typing up a chapter or two of that novel youve been writing. It closes a bit early, but you shouldnt drink coffee after 6pm anyways.

Ivan and Des the baristas were so fun and interesting to chat to during my first trip here. And Ivan truly understands what it means to extra toast a bagel. Fun place!!!

Z is very cool, down to earth and personable. The experience has a niche in a European cafe feel, really good no nonsense espresso and pastries. If you are into independent cafes and anti Starbucks and Biggby then this is your spot. The pour overs are also great. Try the chocolate almond croissant.

The food is great, and for the price, is probably unbeatable. Space is perfect for hanging out, studying or reading. I wish they carry better coffee beans though. Not bad but just not the best compared to other shops around the area like Cairo cafe or Astro for example.

Coffee is great- love the lattes. Sandwiches are especially delicious, try the Greek! The place is very spacious, clean and the staff is very friendly. Will be spending lots of time here in the spring and summer on the patio!

After I ordered a simple black coffee I realized I had probably left my wallet at home, apologized to the cashier, and sat down at a nearby table to give my cluttered bag one last check. Within a few seconds I was being asked to leave. I had pulled out my laptop to search my bag, which is also what you would do if you were going to sit down and start using the wifi without paying for anything except in another 30 seconds I wouldve been on my way out. When I told him what I was doing he still acted suspicious. I dont live far from this place. Normally in this situation I would just go home and come back to get some coffee and do my work but I think this type of behavior says a lot about a place so I went somewhere else instead.
