This is an interesting place with a long and - ahem, colorful past. The lobby and front end have been extensively renovated. They bring in a variety of talent that isn’t found in the large venues. Most recently we saw and heard Linda Eder in concert. The weak spot is parking...there’s a very small lot in back but that’s all. Plan to get there early and plan on street parking.

Very charming little theater at the very edge of the Virginia Peninsula, near Ft. Monroe. The actual theater is small with very small seats close to each other. They had five local breweries present, and if you buy the sippy cup, you can drink anywhere in the building, including the theater. The people where very nice and accommodating. Pictured is the Virginia Bluegrass and Brew Festival with Summer Brook and the Faith Mountain Band which performed on Americas Got Talent.

Throughly enjoyed the show, The Jazz side of Aretha Franklin, featuring Desiree Roots. The venue was clean and ushers were friendly. The theater is relatively small so you could see from any seat. My friends and I were down front and I thought the music would be too loud, but it wasnt. Desiree Roots did an excellent job singing Arethas jazz songs and the band was excellent also. Will definitely attend other events there and look for other opportunities to see Desiree Roots.

I loved this venue! We drive from Raleigh to attend the Jane Monheit concert and loved the theater. (Hated the show, but we are reviewing the theatre.). We will definitely come back, and hope we get a much better show. Very quaint with comfortable seating.

Another Hampton TREASURE hidden in plain sight. Not a bad seat in the house. Saw Jennifer Holiday perform and she still has those Hugh Vocals . The parking is challenging but not enough to make us not want to come back.

This is a wonderful little theater in Hampton which brings many great artists to the area. The last time we attended to hear a Hampton Roads Philharmonic concert which was wonderful as always. I also, never miss the Buddhists monks making their mandala in the summer. The prices for shows are also very reasonable.

The theater itself was OK the play that I saw the music was good however you could not understand the lyrics of the song because the music drowned a devout. The singers and actors had excellent voices but they could not speak over the music and they did not articulate. The story was excellent but I spoke with 5 other people that were sitting around me and they as well could not understand the lyrics

Actually was there to perform for a Hampton Unity Award ceremony. We were greeted nicely and throughtly accomdated by the stage manager, light & sound crews. Then I, as director of my group, became a member of the audience. Comfortable seating, excellent stage view, pleasant surrounding. I will and have enjoyed performances in this theatre.
