Great time at Gear-Up! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very safety focused. Good variety of fields to play through. Would definitely recommend checking them out.

My boyfriends son is having a blast. Great day, they only have one bathroom for hundreds of people, and its out of order. They need to bring in some Port of pottys

Everyone was nice ,however they did not promote social distancing and the officials were not wearing their mask when giving instructions

Great paintball location. I purchased some gear and gun from the owner Myles before I began playing on the field due to an injury I had. I just began playing again these past weekends and it is by the far one of the best locations Ive been to.The fields are great, the staff is great, and the pricing is pretty good too. I highly recommend it!

If you want a great vibe and awesome spot to play paintball this is it. Affordable clean very professional. I’ve been a few times and the experience was excellent. Nothing but good things to say about this place. Also very very Family oriented. 5 stars if you ask me.

We bought a Groupon that was $65 for paintball for 4 people. It came with the guns, masks, and just a few hundred paintballs but you can buy more for an extra fee. They have 7 outdoor fields and it was A LOT bigger than I thought it would be!!!!! I participated in 2 games, which was plenty for me and my old bones. This was my second time ever playing, and at first I was so scared but the serious-players made me feel very comfortable and I ended up overcoming some fears on the battlefield. The day after, my quads were aching and I realized I had the workout of a lifetime! This would be so fun with a large group, and I will definitely be back for more.

Cannot say enough good about this place. Went for my bachelor party, almost all of whom were paintballing for the first time. The owner was our ref and showed us the ropes, he did a phenomenal job keeping things fun and varied but also safe. The different maps and games were awesome, I would highly recommend for a great time out with friends for a party.

Nice family friendly environment. The staff is friendly and take their jobs serious, which I think is a plus. So make sure you follow the rules. They always have specials, so catch those specials and have fun the whole day.

We went on a Saturday afternoon with a party of 8. Instructions were informative entertaining an expedient. The staff were inviting professional and knowledgeable. The facility was immaculately clean well manicured fun and expensive. I been to several other paintball parks in NJ and this is the BEST by FAR! Dont waste your time or energy going anyplace else. This was a spectacular place to have my sons 14th Birthday party.

Staff is always on point and friendly. Prices are solid. The refs are knowledgeable and truly grow the sport through interactions with the younger players. Miles (owner) is always making sure each week is an awesome experience for everyone.

Gear up is a great place to paintball,but could use more refs cause lately theres been a lot of people who come in and cheat and dont call there hits and its frustrating but other then that nothing else is bad about the place.

We had a birthday party at Gear-up a year ago and everyone had a blast! The staff was courteous and professional. We were assigned a ref as part of our package and it felt as though we had free reign over all of the fields. We played and rested at our own pace which made the experience much more enjoyable. Since then we have gone back many times for walk-on matches and continue to enjoy the facility!

We went as a group using a Groupon. It was really great!! The employees were super nice, fields were fun, and the regulars were loads of fun! We are definitely going back to play coupon or not!

Took 30 at risk youth to play the staff was wonderful the owner was great helpful and efficient and the experience was fun as hell def want to go back!

It was a lot of fun, definitely worth my money. The staff is so nice and helps out with whatever I need, its such a friendly environment, great for everyone. One of the best things to do on a Sunday with your friends, I cant wait to go again.

Very fun and well worth the price. Went with a few friends a couple months ago and we had a blast. The woodsball is awesome. You cant get better than this place. 10/10 will go again. A lot of fast paced action involved like in the capture the flag, my favorite. I also enjoy their team elimination. People groan and moan that you have to pay 40 bucks. But thats 40 bucks for an entire day of fun and painful memories.

I recommend Gear-Up to all it is a family fun game and all should do it. I go with my son and all the staff at gear -Up is great and knows the game well. they are respectful to all and help you if your equipment is not working. I am 45 years old and my son is 12 we always have fun time.

I go here almost every other Sunday when possible. The staff is great, and we always have a blast on the fields. My faveorite field is castle, defending it really makes the adrenaline start pumping!

Today I went paint balling as a walk-on for the first time. It was really fun playing on the fields, but one thing killed the vibe. I shot a guy he then shot me 5 times for no reason (he was older than me! wasnt mature at all) and when i told the ref after i explained what happened he said your hit anyway ...... I got hit after I shot the guy? Makes no sense. Since then I have a big welt on my arm and im in pain. The staff was nice except one ref and a few players. Overall it was as good day but just a bad last game. It was so much fun me and a friend and i really loved it just not time efficient. They had 2 refs but just did 1 big game which was 50/50 chance to like it or not

The place gear up is amazing, the equipment is very good in terms of quality for good prices the staff is amazing I enjoyed the courses are amazing very excilirating it’s worth going back.

This place was awful, for 3 main reasons: Paint, players, and refs.Paint - The paint seems oil-based and its awful. I was lucky to shoot straight even with breaks in my barrel. Its also not worth $50, and Id rather go anywhere else and pay $20 more for good paint.Players - The regulars and most other players at this field were awful (especially the regulars). They ignored rules, like the 20ft rule, which means you cant run up and light someone up. They did though. They also brought their own paint and no one seemed to care. At one point my friends pod broke because someone went point blank and shot him multiple times in the back, shooting a hole in a pod made of hard plastic. I told the owner (hes a good guy) and he had everyone rechecked for their velocity. 70-80% of players were over 300fps (the limit is 280fps or less). There were a good amount of new players, too, and these regulars could have possibly shot through their rental masks. Someone actually complained about being rechecked, which was ridiculous.Refs - The refs we had were young and didnt seem to know a damn thing about paintball, except for a few I talked to. I actually had to fix someones gun and their velocity (He shot at 350fps) and I asked the owner if he had any gun techs/refs. None of them are gun techs. Im no gun tech myself but they should at least have some on site to deal with rental guns or something. Also, these refs didnt care aboyt the rules, again except a few. They would just sit and watch and call them game.Overall, I would possibly go there with a private group if I could bring my own paint, but I dont think Ill ever go back.

This place hands down provides a great paintballing experience. Every day i leave i say how much i enjoy it there. They make everything safe and fun! Gear up is the place to be.

This is a great place to play paintball. I have been here twice so far. They have a great mix of skill and non-skilled players, well balance teams, great family environment, and the staff is just Fantastic . They help with any problems from teaching, and coaching new players to fix problems on players markers.

Out of all the times I have been at Gear Up Paintball I always had an awesome time with friends and family. Great enviorment and i cant wait to go again! A bit to expensive, but out of all great place!

Honestly the worst paint ball experience I have had.My friends and I play very casual, and from other places we have went, we have realized that if we get there just as it opens we can play some games that are more personal and generally around the same skill level as us. So we arrive a little after 9 and we are all set by 9:30. From 9:30 to 11:30, we only played two games. The refs didnt seem to care as they were hanging out with their buddies in the store. Totally unprofessional and a waste of my time and money.Of course around this time it seemed the regulars had shown up. They brought there own paint, and I asked the refs about it and they just shrugged it off. So the website says you have to use their paint so none of us brought any, and spent 50 dollars on quite possible the worst paint I have ever used. Of course the refs are churning out games because all the regulars are here so from about that time we got about 5 games in from 11:45 to 2:30.The guys that showed up around that time were huge jerks (seems like the same ones from the earlier comment), each one of us had stories of getting lit up after we had our hands up and started walking away from the game even five or more seconds after we had surrendered. One point (at castle) the refs called the game and they just kept shooting. The refs did not say one word to them, not even an attempt to get them to settle down.Refs also barely moved, good luck asking for a paint check.The courses are alright, except for castle, which is quite possible the worst castle I have ever played at. Its about the width of a speedball feild while being a little longer. Castle almost automatically wins and it is pretty good way to waste your over priced paint.Also they dont check ANYONES speed or guns. They probably didnt care. I would probably rank this as one of the worst paintball places I have ever been to.
