One man Star wars. Omg!!! Amazing!!!

Perfect to see this theatre built in the 1920s and that kept its mood and part of old advertising left on a wall to see.The new Director of Arts, James Winter, gave us a tour of this beautiful theatre Im New Orleans area. This is the first time Ive been to the Columbia theater since I was a kid it was just as I remembered. Actually the last time that I was in the Columbia theater was for Star wars empire strikes back. And what brought me back to the Columbia theater again was Star wars a one-man show. I brought my 11 year old son told him about all the exciting movies I had saw at this great old theater. I am now looking forward to bringing him and my other younger son to many plays and musicals and any other great events that the Columbia theater Will be showing. This is a great part of the history of the city of Hammond and I hope that were able to keep this alive for a long time for the even to be able to show my grandkids one day. The people who run the Columbia theater have done so well and I want to say thank you for keeping this great landmark alive

Great venue for a band performance! Comfortable, easy to get to, with lots of great places to eat nearby.

Staff was super attentive especially assisting with accessibility for a wheelchair user in our group.

My son had Honor Band. Performance there. Place was clean.

I did a show there. It was fun but it wouldnt be good for really large shows

Service was fantastic, show was amazing, and all this culture and fun right in the heart of Hammond. Nostalgia and just a great night well spent. You dont have to go to New York to see great plays or performances. Have a glass of wine and just enjoy the show at the Columbia.

Beautiful theater! The only thing is if you plan on drinking anything before the performance make sure to do it 15 minutes before event. Drinking not allowed in theater.

The theater is a popular spot for local events. Excellently run and very clean. They do their best to bring in top performing art events for the size of the stage.It is accessible for the physically challenged. Seats are comfortable. One thing missing is refreshments on the base floor.

Artragous was great entertainment. Great for the audience of all ages and fun. If they come back tothe Colombia, I would recommend taking time to attend.

A beautiful historic theatre. Clean restrooms. The chairs were comfortable enough for the three hour event we were there for. The sound system was good.

What an amazing venue! Due yourself a favor and ask one of the staff about the history of this place, and of course see a performance too. The theater is a beautiful jewel in the downtown Hammond crown.
