You need to actually see this statue to realize that this is the 2nd tallest in the 50 states (behind the statue of liberty, and behind Birth of the New World in PR). The gates into the actual park area around the statue arent always open, but its large enough to see from a mile or two away so its not that much of a problem.

Very cool sculpture free to visit and take pictures. Beautiful garden and walking path around the giant sculpture. Fun for tourists to come and capture some cool pictures.

Very beautiful and huge (seriously, thats big!!) stone statue of Pegasus (the flying horse from mythology) and a dragon.Certainly deserves 5 stars. However we were there on a Sunday evening and the park surrounding the statue was supposed to be open till 7pm, but the gates were closed when we arrived at 6.30pm. Luckily we found a small entrance on the left side (towards race track) which was open. But main gates remained closed. Hence one star away.

Love Gulfstream Park! The best track available to the public and one of the best tracks for racing. Lots to do in the village and lots of fun betting the ponies!

Awesome place. Had the entire parking lot to ourselves. My 2 year old had a blast and its a great spot for photo ops.

They just started a farmers market it needs to be built up a little bit more there was only two stands with fruits and vegetables and the rest were pretty much selling jewelry henna tattooing some clothes but it was nice

This statue is incredible! The largest around. Its a giant pegasus and a dragon going at it. The statue is surrounded by palm trees, greenery and a waterfall! Its a beuatiful destination to stop in and take your own souvenir photos. If you come early in the morning you can catch the sunrise coming up between the dragons wings in the most majestic way. Definitely stop in and check this place out!

Quite the roadside attraction. Water streams were not working when we passed by. Not sure if there are schedules. Very nice sculpture.

Question, why is Pegasus curb stomping the Dragon? Word on the street is that the Dragon tried to touch Pegasus in its No-No place. Quite disturbing! Remember a No-No is a No-Go.

WOW!!!! This exhibit was Amazing!!! I just happened to be visiting a friend in Miami, when I drive past it. I had to pull over and gawk in amazement at the size of this thing. I am a photographer by hobby and I had to jump out and start shooting. As I did, the waterfalls and music started to play. Andre Bocelli, one of my very favorites. I was stopped as the music rang out through the open air, for all to hear, then the dragon made a loud roar and Fire came billowing out of its mouth. Impressed, to say the least. I felt that good fortune had fallen upon me as it all happened by matter of chance. I too my hat in thanks to those who put this exhibit together. It was a highlight of my trip!!! Thank You!!! If youre in Miami make a point to go see this Amazing work of Art!!!

Interesting sculpture at the Gulfstream Race Track. With Pegasus stepping and crushing a dragon cast in black. It is the center piece of this section, standing high, approximately 30 feet. The area is used for events, such as the Green Market (freash produce, crafts, etc).The statue represents a Championship Race and event starting in January.

Beautiful park, great for parties or gatherings. Very spacious & a hidden gem in the area.

Here the staff and crowd are great..food is good ..wheelchair friendly...

Strange things sometimes happen in Florida and the decision to construct this gigantic statue was clearly one of them. Consider how sturdy the construction must be in order to resist the hurricanes that sometimes torment southern Florida. The whole concept is simply insane.Having said that, its almost worth a trip here to admire this modern spectacle and most definitely worth stopping if youre driving by it.Built by Swedish Skanska so it will probably remain standing for a long time.

This statue and the park that surrounds it, took my breath away. This small park is a really great place to sit and relax.
