Shop is clean and very well organized. Had a wonderful experience with Tim. SO knowledgeable, passionate about his job, and super helpful in walking me through each step of the way this past weekend ordering my Osprey 45 suppressor. I had never done it before and he was so patient, educative, and such a pleasure to work with; you can tell the people who work in this shop really care about their customers. Thank you Tim! I went in to buy .556 and 9mm and they were very rude. They did not wear a mask and still told me I have to wear one or leave the store. Also while I was buying 9mm they did not sell it too me even though it was for a rifle and not a handgun, they need better people at the desk. I have been there in the past and spoke with nice people so I guess it’s just luck of the draw. Either way I had a bad experience.

Place was too crowded and didn’t have enough ammo could only sell one box if you used the range. Disorganized had different lines for who knows what... no one advises where to stand for the service you want. Range was old. Rental selection was quite good however some staff friendly some not so friendly. Would go back only cause it’s close to home CCW class was fine, the instructor was polite and knowledgeable

This is the best place to shoot in broward county, the staff is so professional, they clean all their equipments, they take care of everybody in such a quick professional matter and are very aware on gun safety, I’ve never felt safer any where else. The range has many many lanes with enough space and many selections of guns. I love to spend my weekends here! love this place!!! Longtime Broward range , while not the most modern , they have one of the best crew of employees around. Very knowledgeable, great instructors. Their rental selection is great and the prices for new firearms and Ammo are always fair.

I’ve been using Pembroke range for a few years now, and have bought a couple firearms through them. Not many, but they have whatever business Of mine I can give. A few months ago I put a deposit down on a very limited and sought after firearm with the hopes of eventually getting one. I waited patiently and as soon as they received one, they reached out with the good news. Now, I have to point out. I’ve seen MANY shops selling this firearm for well over MSRP on a certain auction website, without the firearm ever hitting their shelves for their customers. Pembroke range sold it to me at the standard MSRP. Not only do they offer EVERYTHING at extremely competitive prices, but they didn’t take the extra opportunity (when they certainly could have) to make an extra buck. They have solidified my business whenever I’m in the market for something with this extremely reputable gesture. THANK YOU PGR!

I called Pembroke Gun and Range a few days ago and asked if they do finger prints and I was told yes, just come in on Wednesday between 5 and 8pm. So I made time in my busy schedule and arrived at 5:15 on Wednesday to be told “do you have an appointment” if not we can’t do your fingerprints! The place looked very dirty, and the young man that spoke with me wasn’t very helpful and seemed very disorganized, I was not impressed and will not be going back.

What an awesome experience! Patrick and Miguel were so helpful and patient. A friend and I came to shoot, without much experience, and they were willing to answer any and all questions for us. Explained to us how the guns worked and even let us exchange an unused box of ammo for a different caliber. Switched out three different guns, 3 boxes of ammo, very very reasonable price. These guys dont disappoint.

I was looking for something specific, and I found it on their website. I called the store to inquire..It wasnt available but they had a similar one in store.When I went in, They made the process simple. The guy who helped me had a professional demeanor, and was straight to the point. I appreciated that.

I have been shooting at this gun range for over a year. This is one of the friendliest places I have ever had the pleasure of shooting at. The management and staff make everyone feel welcome. From novices to experts everyone is treated special. For novices the staff takes the necessary time showing everyone the safety measure they need to follow. I would highly recommend this shooting range. I feel safe and comfortable.

Definitely 1 of the friendliest gun ranges Ive been to. Always the first place i look when i want a new firearm extremely helpful and dont be afraid to ask how to properly handle or clean any new guns if you have never used it before.

I wouldnt recommend using them as a FFL for shipping your guns they take several days after receiving your gun to issue it to you even if you have a permit never experienced this at other locations takes way too long

Every Friday they have ladies night day where is they bring their own gear they they should go in the range for free the outside was just Patrol by the property manager thats a whole nother story and parking opening the parking lots full

I had a very bad experience at this establishment. An Israeli male was making comments after my middle eastern friend and I were having a conversation privately. He aggressively interjected himself into our conversation. The manager/owner came out and asked us ALL to leave. My friend and I left. But the Israeli man which the manager/owner called him by his name did not leave. I feel as if I was singled out because I was not Israeli and I’m middle eastern. It was the worst feeling ever. As I walked out. A store clerk said just loud enough. I guess we have more lanes open now!!!

Took my uncle and his son here and we had a blast the guy in range was very helpful he teach my cousin some tip and technic, they do have a lot of choice of gun to rent. Found my new spot range definitely come back again for sure

First off, strange enough, they appear to be anti 2A as there is a HUGE sign on the front door that they don’t support CCW! This is basically a gun rental plane for non gun people, ammo prices are very high for cheap ammo, no AC and dirty hot air with poor lighting, located in a sketch area, I’d pass.

It is an ok range their are better in the area, and then their is worse. Nothing to wow about. If your from another state or country that has strict gun laws then this is a great place for you. Stop in rent some guns and send some rounds down range. Something you may never be able to do back home.

Stopped by the Pembroke Gun Range today, customer service was decent but being in the range itself was a poor experience. Floors completely layered with empty shells, horribly ventilated, and no A/c. Youll be sweating your a** off, heads up.Additionally, the prices for ammo, targets, and rentals are insane! $24 for a box of 9mm ammo? Come on...what a rip-off and a joke. Just came from Shoot Straight and what a completely different experience and better environment. More professional and theyre not trying to rip you off. A box of their 9mm ammo is $13.Granted, I know I should get my own ammo prior to going to a range, but in this instance I needed it. Either way, go to other ranges, youll have a way better experience elsewhere.

Dirty air. Just an average shooting range. Nothing to fancy, the patrons are all types of people most are nice and responsible gun owners. Every once in a while you will have the patron that rents a gun that can shoot and is a low life but they dont last long as they cant afford the ammo and are in and out in less than 15 minutes.

This place is a total ripoff had to pay $100 Because the bracket that holds the target fell while shooting at the target, the same Bracket that everyone else shoots. I look at the other lanes and theres multiple gunshots in the other brackets. Just be ready to spend $100 if youre the one that the bracket fells off on . Hot potato

My experience at PGR was awesome, the staff and management were extremely vigilant and attentive to over all safety. Their focus of safety was a bit overwhelming but that’s exactly what’s needed when operating in any environment that firearms are present. But it was indeed and awesome experience, I would defiantly recommend PGR. Patrick, Tim, Miguel and Cruz assisted in providing a safe and supportive atmosphere. They are definitely good peoples.

This place is great.The location is not an issue and neither is the parking. My Fiance and I came here, our first time shooting and it was not at all intimidating.Miguel is customer service. Showed us how to handle a gun properly and lots of info on gun safety.Everything went so smoothly we even purchased a gun, thanks Miguel.

I go to the Pembroke Gun Range (PGR) weekly and the staff are ALWAYS courteous, respectful and do not antagonize the customers like some other ranges do.PGR has a large selection of firearms to rent and the cost to use the range is very reasonable.

I have been a hunter, skeet shooter, trap shooter and a target shooter all of my life. I have had a small arsenal of guns to go along with my shooting hobby but when it came time to retire to Hollywood, Fl., I sold off all of my guns. (That hurt.....) Recently, I bought a coupon for shooting and went to this Pembrook Park range. The employees here are great. They were welcoming and helpful. In the past month I have been to the range several times. Some of my friends from my condo have come along with me and have had a blast. Some are talking about forming a shooting club. Who knows.......

The staff were professional and helpful. The range offers a good variety of rental guns. What I was impressed by was while I was sitting waiting for my husband and nephew, I saw a couple come in who were interested in buying a gun. One of the staff, talked to them, made a recommendation and then brought the couple over to a table and took the gun apart, explained how it worked, how to fire it, clean it etc. and then took them into the range to try it out.

Robert was awesome!! EVERYONE was so accommodating! Highly recommend!!

I stopped here on a whim as I was looking to purchase a handgun. I walked in, and immediately received a courteous welcome from Patrick. Patrick was very patient, helped me find what I was looking for, and after 10 minutes helped me with the purchase. The priced I paid was quite a bit less than Outdoor World as well. He gave me a free range session with targets/eyes/ears, along with a heap of future free range visits. Its a bit of a drive for me, but Ill definitely be going back!

Prices are great on range use but its extremely hot and not well lite. It was so hot I left there with shirt drenched in sweat. Glasses kept fogging up making it impossible to zero in my new scope on new carbine.If they would fix those 2 issues id come back but for now ill look for a place that is air-conditioned.

I have been going to Pembroke gun and range for 7 years now. Its a Great place to go to for the purchase of firearms and to learn how to use them properly. The staff is extreamly knowledgeable on the stuff they carry. For first time shooters they give you a quick safety crash course before you are allowed to enter the range. If you are going to use a groupon offer please make sure you read what the offer comes with the fine print clearly states what the offer comes with, at no point does it say that the firearm rental comes with the ammunition for the price your paying its reasonable because the range fee alone is $14 per person then you add on the targets, ear and eye protection and the firearm rental which is another $20 and thats NOT ammunition included (for safety reason when you rent one of thier firearms they require you to use ammunition that they sell) All together your getting a 2 person package normally $60+ (again not including ammunition, this is always separate whether you get the groupon or not) for $33.

Havent shot here yet but I bought a handgun online and used them for the transfer. First time buying online so wasnt sure what to expect. They were courteous and friendly and the transaction was smooth. As this is my first handgun I bought a cheaper gun and thought maybe I would cat a little smack but they were very professional. I will be back to shoot there.

Went in for a trade and i ended up being laughed at by the employees, not cool at all just childish. My gun had a few scratches as It was my first gun, learned how to shoot with it, kept it clean and modified. I didnt really care about their offer because i was going to get a higher caliber and get rid of it, even brought 500 cash with me just in case. I lost interest so i decided to shoot at their range, not worth it the whole place is in a shed, youd be better off going elsewhere.

I moved here from NY and purchased a firearm from here and Patrick was very helpful. Once I received my ccp, I went to test out my new weapon and that day Patrick wasnt there, but another guy was. So I simply asked him (since Im new to this and this is the place to ask such questions), would a certain set of ammo I bought work for my gun. He basically made me feel like I shouldnt be asking such a question and thats the dumbest thing to ask. He never even answered it, but instead laughed and told me to ask an instructor that was there with a client, because it was so funny. After that encounter and seeing how much they do notreally take safety as an important factor, Ill take the longer drive and go elsewhere.

Cheap, no thrills shooting range. Very knowledgeable staff that is always willing to help. There are nicer ranges out there but for the price this place cant be beat. Great ammo selection and their prices on guns are very reasonable. They even do an occasional special on groupon which is a great deal considering what is included.

We bought the Groupon On before coming in, we called and planned accordingly to bring in the family that just flew in for the Labor weekend and no where on the coupon did it mention anything about ONLY USA ID. The most absurd fact is that its a tourist based application!! Here at the office when we were rejected on our entrance we informed them there was no disclaimer for the IDS. The gentleman said they do not tell GroupOn what to write. WOW.. discouraged from the beginning. Time is money, be respectful.

About the best deal for range time I have found in Broward. I only go there on weeknights as weekends the place is near SRO in the lobby. If you want to spend a higher fee per hour there are nicer places to go but with what I make every cent counts so I go here twice a month. I have reported unsafe behavior on the range and the staff was quick to take action.

Just received my Conceal Carry Permit certificate from here. Everyone was nice and friendly. Range was cool and lit. Instructor was funny and the price 90 for everything. Well worth it.

The worst customer service ever!!! Think twice before you decide to purchase an additional item for your gun .. once you pay it is final! You can not regret even one second after payment .., the payment is final and there is no refund .., this is the worst service ever .., they will never see me there again.

Everyone here is knowledgeable. It is a safe environment and I recommend it to everyone. There may be cheaper ranges but I would prefer to continue going here because the quality seems better then any other place in the area.

Once inside the staff was helpful and attentive even though a small rush was taking place. When some regulars came in during a rental exhange [which they allow, giving you the ability to try different firearms] I wasnt neglected, and two different employees were more than happy to answer and advise on multiple questions I had. The lanes allow ample room for prep and shooting. Overall good experience would definitely return!

My first time touching a real gun, came from Canada to visit. The guy at the counter taught us a crash course on how to handle the handgun and the rifle, very professional and very friendly, and we had a great time at the shooting range. I would definitely recommend this place.

I have been coming to the range for at least 15 yrs...well today I took a friend who had only been there once. My friend and I began shooting and while shooting my friend aimed high by mistake and shot the card board off. I went out to the register area to inform the shop personnel, I ended up speaking to Tim McGill. Due to some previous conversations that I had earlier with my friend about who would out shoot who I found it funny that he shot off the cardboard, so when I told Tim I was smiling and chuckled. Tim then proceeded to tell me that he didnt find it funny, I said excuse me? Because I didnt ask for his opinion and was just advising him that the cardboard was off. I explained to him that it was shot off by accident. Again Tim started to give me his opinion, not that I cared for his opinion but he chose to do so. I guess he feels the need to talk down to his customers which is not acceptable by most businesses. I served my country and it is a shame that I have to deal with rude employees especially after I have been coming to the establishment for so many yrs.

Great place, quick to process you and get u in, friendly they treated me like an old friend coming back, I had only been here twice before and waited to post my opinion but decided that after getting great service twice before that it was time to share that opinion. I read some negative comments below but the impression I got from the staff was totally different than what was posted, all the people here were genuine and inviting, cant make everyone happy all the time, I guess it was just a bad day for that guy

Terrible location. Unprofessional staff. Visited this location today and upon entering, was not greeted or asked how we could be helped. Instead, we were told by one of the three guys working behind the counter that they wouldnt be taking anybody else right now while a small group of customers was being corralled into the range. So we waited quietly to the side for a few minutes while the group that had just exited the range was being helped. Ill spare you the details, but we ended up walking out after 10 minutes when one of the employees finally acknowledged our presence for a brief moment and then walked away in the middle of trying to ask when the next lane opening was available.

I have been going to the Pembroke gun range for several years now. It is not a large range and is not fancy, but has all that is needed at a fair price. Military and LEO discounts are given, we have never been less than pleased with their service, even when busy.

The person told me to come before 5:00pm, I did and drove all the way down there. Than they said that they arent taking anymore people once I got there. Also, I got a groupon but it didnt include ammo. I mean that is the whole point, cannot shoot a gun without ammo

I like this place. On balance of cost vs. Amenities I give good marks on cost. The owners have been improving of late. The staff are pleasant to deal with.

These people are so freaking rude and nasty. I called and asked them if I can purchase a gun because they just suspended my license for not paying a parking ticket. He quickly told me no rudely, so I asked of they can give me a background check before purchasing the gun. The guy told me no thats illegal and no one would do that. Then he told me that I have to purchase the gun first and if they tell me no then I can situate my license and come get the gun. Wow so I hung up called another gun store they said said no problem well run you first and you can buy the gun and if I were to buy the gun and get denied we would return your money since your not purchasing the fire arm. Wow Pembroke Gun shop will keep your money hostage until you fix whatever problem. BTW I told them I had me ccw and no criminal charges just the parking ticket. Anyways I was able to purchase the fire arm at another store the same day.

First time shooter, would have liked more instruction as I was very nervous. Also, The staff was nice but obviously overwhelmed and service was impacted as a result of all the disorganization. I used a Groupon which was a great deal, but keep in mind that the ammo is a separate charge and they only tell you that once youre there - we spent an extra $50 on ammo. Would try shooting again, not sure if I would try there though.

I went up to Pembroke Gun & Range today to test-fire my new Beretta Px4 Storm Sub Compact. Ive been to a few ranges around the area, including the one that shall not be named a little ways south, and this one by far is my favorite. No frills, no BS, as long as you keep the safety rules and ammo guidelines in mind, its a relaxing place to shoot. Targets are cheap, the generic ammo is cheap, and I didnt have to wait for a lane. Staff was very helpful and always available for questions and instruction. To each his own, but when I go to the range I just like to concentrate and shoot, and this is a great place for that. Its not pretty, but then again, you are going to a gun range, not a nightclub. The other customers were great too. A few were quizzical about my choice of weapon - the Px4 SC is amazing, but wow, it has a bark!Oh, and for those who are saying its a bad neighborhood? Wow, either Im jaded from living in the City of Miami itself, or you guys are being really sensitive. Its a warehouse district, of course its ugly! Other than that, its totally safe. And as someone else said, well, you are carrying a gun...Summary: No-frills shooting experience if you just want to go somewhere and run a hundred rounds through your personal weapons. Definitely will return.

I only go to this range because its close. Be aware there is nobody watching the range. Youre in there with a bunch of people who might or might not be expierced shooter. On one occasion, some Russian kids were rapid firing, they ended up hitting one of the clips holding the target. I got hit accross the chest by a metal shard from the clip. Range prices are average, they have lots of lanes. It does get packed on weekends.
