Great people only thing is if someone needs to breath let them take their mask off for a few. Not everyone has the best lungs to have a mask on all the time. I know its unsafe to do that but sometimes people really need to. For example elderly or people with Asthma. But overall a great place to go skating.

Weve had the best Tuesday night here specially for Lion King night. We will be back for Spongebob next week and definitely the end of summer luau!

Drove two hours with a coworker to skate here. The pricing structure was cheap and nice. The floor was tight and well kept. We are avid shuffle skaters, Weve been to dozens of rinks along the east coast, We were fairly disappointed with the lack of 80s freestyle music. It could be just our personal biases, but when I asked the dj for some shuffle music I was looked at like I had 2 heads. We’ve been managing a roller rink for 5 plus years I understand the struggles of keeping all customers happy but the music is a critical aspect that can make or break a rink, we might come back at a later date with some more friends.

My daughter went with friends for a Tuesday night skate. She had a blast and was fun and nostalgic for me to talk to her about my childhood at my local rink. I look forward to bringing her back for more sessions in the future.

This was a nice place to take my children. They are 6 years apart in age so sometimes accommodating both of them is difficult. I enjoyed having the play area for my younger child while my older child could enjoy skating. My only complaint was the womens bathroom. There was only one stall available out of three.Update: I was not able to respond to the comment from the owner. I did not report it since someone else had earlier in the day. The restrooms were still very clean. No complaints there. I understand things happen out of their control. I will definitely be returning in the future.

They redid alot of things. New paint job and tore down the big play area. But they got alot more arcade games. Decent prices! Love the homeschool skate!!

This place is amazing I recommend going there it is the best most funniest place in Hagerstown. I have had 12 birthday parties there. All of them were amazing. It is well managed, the place is clean and the staff is very nice. The Tuesday theme nights are very fun and the prices are very affordable. The rental skates are very nice quality. The music is kid friendly and they take song requests. And I assure you that you and your family will have a great time.

I went there with my sister and my best friend and we had a blast. It wasnt to packed and the games they played on the rink were fun. I also liked the mini arcade they had in the back. I won 2 bears and 3 balls. I also liked the music they played it was good and fun for kids.

Hosted a private party/birthday party here recently. Poor communication leading up to the party; the phone number given is not the actual location, but rather the owner’s private cell. We attempted to contact her multiple times to ask last minute questions in order to best prepare for party, and were not able to connect with an employee until ONE day before the party. The day of the party, not one employee greeted us upon walking in with bags, presents, cake, etc. No acknowledgment that we were even there. Kids had fun, which was a definite plus, but the DJ didn’t make an effort to play the songs we were told to list prior to the party. Website needs some serious updating. Overall, not terrible but we won’t book another private party here.

Our family had a great time and it was my sons first time skating. A really great time over all.They no longer have the ball pit which the kids loved.Pricing on Facebook event was less than what the lady made us pay at the door.The event pricing should have been accepted and honored due to their posting errors.Sometimes pricing is the reason why some people choose to attend or not.

They have a fairly big skating rink, the music they play is good, and this is a great place to bring your kids. But some people skate way to fast and cause the little ones to fall down, so someone should put some sort of speed you can go.

My daughter decided she wanted her birthday party at a skating rink and Im so glad we chose Turners!! It was a great first experience! The staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests were taken care of and we had a lot of guests. They took a lot of stress off of me by decorating the tables, serving the food, and having plenty for the kids to do. Everything was so organized! I felt like they accepted us like family as soon as we walked through the door. I would definitely recommend having your next birthday party here!!!!

Great for young kids. The bounce inflatables are a nice in-between for kids who dont really know how to skate. The skate buddys the bars that helpnkids skate are very useful. Staff was friendly and accomadating. Food was as to be expected of a skate rink lol edible but nothing fancy. Kids really enjoyed it!

We were at Turners yesterday (2/18). People have always been nice and is a nice place. A couple of things I wasnt too thrilled with yesterday was that it was way too cold ( it was only 41 degrees outside) in the building and now I know what cardboard pizza taste like. My theory is if you dont want to eat it, dont serve it to somebody else. Also the skate buddies are a good idea but think you could give the customers a couple of dollars back when returned. Sometimes the child doesnt use them very long and you as the customer turns it back in, then you re- rent them back out for another $5 in the same session. Just kind of expensive if you bring more than one child. Dont think strollers and people without skates on should be on the skating floor. Overall I do like the place and staff are friendly and helpful; just need to watch the inside temperature and freshness of food being served. Thanks for listening.

Very dirty. No soap in the bathroom. Ashtray for smokers is right beside the door so you choke on smoke going in and out. They make you pay for a water bottle instead of charging a small fee for a cup.

My daughter has a blast here! I wish parents would actually watch their kids though! Babies and toddlers shouldnt be running onto the rink and us parents with our kids save them and literally stand there and wait for the parent to realize their kid is gone!

Went on a Sunday and stayed for about an hour. This wasnt what I was looking for. Geared more towards children, which is fine, but the bounce houses on the floor, and people pushing strollers on the floor were a bit much. It took away from the amount of available skating space, and the floor was way too slick for my taste. If you have kids, and want them to have a place where they can learn to skate, this a a great place for you to come. If you are a jam skater, this is NOT for you.My suggestion would be to make your skating session listings on the website a little more descriptive, so that people who are coming from out of town know what to expect. Had I known that was the atmosphere, I would not have come all the way out there. If there are adult skate nights, it would be nice to know when those are.

Fun for kids and anyone who enjoys skating I guess. Its about what youd expect for a skate rink- kind of dark and dingy with not great food. My kid loved it and I had fun.

Love this place. Great for adult skate and kids skating. Would love some more assisting carts for the kids that are learning. I usually share them with others during busy nights. I have been skating for a league here for years and the staff are super respectful.

Turners is the hot spot if you enjoy roller or inline skating. The owner is very hands on and works very hard to make the experience enjoyable. The Saturday afternoon session is a great time for those who are just learning to or dont skate that often.

Just a great place to take your family , the owner and staff are top notch. I noticed the owner taking care of younger skaters to make sure that their skates were tied and on properly, her staff rollerskates around to make sure that everything on the floor is perfect and everyone is behaving. The music is great, the food is priced well , The area at the snack bar is very clean just an all-around great place, great people.

This place was super fun. Not too expensive although having to pay $5 for a kids cart seemed a bit excessive compared to the other prices. Tons of fun though!

Nostalgic and old school. It was like stepping or skating back into the 80s rink. Fun, up to date music with kid friendly versions. Went for a birthday party, seemed organized and was fun.

Its a good place to go, decent prices. Just be wary of the young kids with no adult supervision, mouthy, rude, push anyone out of their way, no manners. If it wasnt for that we might alternate between their and ice skating more often.

Turners Skate Palace is by far the BEST rink Ive ever been to!!! Its clean, well decorated, well run, friendly, and safe! My kids look forward to skate there. The party rooms are over the top amazing! Talk about bad customer service. Rude and everything because they didnt have MY SKATESIZE. How are you upset with me because you didnt have my skate size. I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody and Im going to tell as many people as I can to never come to this place because no customer should be treated they way we were! And it wasnt the shoe person who was rude it was the lady at the DJ window (I was told Patty was her name)

Fun, neighborhood roller skate rink. It reminded me of places from about 20 years ago. Theres plenty for little kids to do, and they always have events going on.

Our family had so much fun! The skating was free for everyone on Wednesday night! The pizza and Pepsi deal fed all our kids for under 20.00! Many video games for the kids to play. The two air jumpers were an exciting treat. A great way for the kids to let off some steam! We will go back!

It was paw patrol nite. I love how turners has events like this. They had people dressed in paw patrol character costumes & several fun activities to do for the kids. Plus a bounce house for the kids. Always love going here

Used to be a regular until today when the manager was extremely disrespectful.They have rules that state no stopping on the floor, no sitting leaning or climbing on the walls.this is understandable. I removed my jacket and tossed it On my table on the other side of the wall. Then the manager skates over with his chest puffed out and has a attitude and tells me Its against the rules. When I called him out on it he told me we could step outside !!WOW! Didnt know whether to laugh or accept his offer.stop power tripping, its a skating rink!what happened to professionalism?

I had my daughters birthday party here this past weekend and I couldnt be happier with how everything went! The birthday package included admission, bounce house access, rental skates, pizza, ice cream, drinks, coupons for all the kids and my daughter was even gifted with a beautiful pair of skates! The table was already set up with a table cloth, balloons, plates and spoons when we arrived, all I had to bring was a cake, cake plates and utensils. I ordered another pizza for the parents because the pizza they served the kids looked so good and the adults kept talking about it and we were right, the pizza was very good, they actually make it to order - not frozen like other places.I normally have birthday parties at my home, but I think from now on this will be my go-to place for birthday parties. There was just so much for them to do and I think they all had a great time! JoAnne was awesome to work with in planning the party and was incredibly responsive and informative leading up to the day of the event. Best money I have spent in a while and I cannot say enough good things about this place!!

I go here all the time and this night was the WORST. I asked for a refund yet lovely ole Patty (build like a man) told me she never gives refunds and was very nasty. Now its not what you say its how you say it. I would of totally understood yet she went on to be rude and tell me You wouldnt go to a movie theater to ask for a refund. I didnt ask you what a movie theater does. My boyfriend said that they didnt have his skate size, which they didnt until she went in the back and found som . In Between she was telling him how he had skates already and he told her he couldnt fit them. Then, his back was hurting from it and she didnt give a damn. If you dont like your job sweety QUIT! THEY PROBABLY DONT EVEN NEED YOU! DONT EVER DISRESPECT ME AND MY BOYFRIEND, AGAIN! WE PAY YOU YOU DONT PAY US! If you have a problem with what I said as well you can always contact me.

Turners is always a good time, whether its one of the theme nights for the kids, open skates for myself or my kiddos, and especially for Roller Derby practices/games! It’s a wonderful place for the community and provides all kinds of activities for all ages. There is play tunnels/slides, arcade games, yummy snacks/drinks, bounce houses at some events, and even sometimes facepainters or other children’s activities!

The owner was being really ignorant and disrespecting people who come here and pay to enjoy it, they also threatened to kick out a kid for saying wow because they wouldnt do anything about the toy she won that came with no prize. They also said that it is not there problem when clearly they work here.

Your patrons are loud and ever so rude to the people who live around here. Still leaving trash out in the parking lot, music thumping till 2am sometimes..people yelling and screaming in the parking lot..horrible .....show some respect for god sake....

While I prefer Turners over Starlands, both floors are in need of attention. Ive been a frequent skater at Turners for nearly 15 years now. They do need to consider music selections better; and have more active floor guards, who arent afraid to correct skaters.As a comment & suggestion: Id like to see throw back skating sessions, with active DJ, floor guards, different skate types (reverse direction, couples only, womens choice) along with enforcement of said sessions.

The old lady at the front desk is RUDE AS HELL!! you tell her how many kids you have and how many are skating, and she gets nasty and says how many kids do you have. Maybe she is losing her hearing, but dont get nasty with me. I have been here 2 times and she does it everytime! Maybe she needs to retire. Cause she looks like she dont like her job and she cant hear!! Deff wont be going back again!

Turners skate palace oh this place, let me start off with saying that this place is mostly drama/fights. Bad for young children to watch and learn, people are they to have fun not fight and have drama. Second the staff doesnt have any respect for customers even though they are slacking off. Third they dont clean the most of there equipment and moon bounces etc. This place is mostly rude staff and moldy carpet/floor, the floor has gum all over it. My child was afraid to go into the tunnels because it stuck like childrens feet. (for turners staff its not hard to clean the place) youd probably get a better review then star-land if you had 1 clean the place 2 have better, nicer, corporateing staff. I was close enough to calling a inspector on the snack bar because I saw dust EVERYWHERE.

I planned a private party for my daughter’s 7th birthday here and I guess I should have asked more questions. I figured the event would be staffed...like someone would be handing out skates and someone would be working the snack bar and then there would be the person helping with the event. That was not the case. My guests had to wait 10-15min if they needed skates or needed to exchange skates which happened frequently because many of the skates were broken or they were given 2 left feet instead on a left and right.Another thing that didn’t seem right was the bounce house was set up for our party and when the building opened to the public they took it down. Problem is they took it down, but there was no cleaning done. I don’t know proper procedures, but it made me wonder when and if cleaning ever occurs.The reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of one is because the kids had a blast roller skating/blading. I wish they would have had staff working the event so that more time was spent skating than trying to get the correct skates. I would not plan another party here and I will likely not return unless I brought my own skates.

Nice place to skate, however the roller blades I was using were very uncomfortable. They needed more padding. It felt like my foot bones were directly against the plastic, not cushion.

I wouldnt trust any cooked food. My daughter got sick. We still come to this place every chance we get. My daughter loves it. Wish they would have something like this in Frederick

Best place around for skating. Cant skate? Take your kids to skate? Kids cant skate? They will help you. And home to Hagerstown roller derby teams Mason Dixen All Stars and The Cannon Brawlers. So theres no way you can be bored here.

We had fun except for the kids running around and speed skating past us. Had to change skates a couple times. They also run big so go a size smaller

Took my daughter for her 7th birthday. She had a blast! (First-time on skates) staff was great. Although most of the lockers to place your items in were not working properly, other than that well be back.
