I dont know how 2 stars happened. We had a blast there. The food was good, great pool tables, awesome outdoors patio area.

My husband and I are vacationing in the area and found this place on the list of the hotel and were intrigued. Were very glad that we chose this place because it seems like the local, townie kind of place, which we love. Our waitress is the friendliest person and very attentive. We were questioning something on the menu and she suggested something else. We went with her suggestion and it was phenomenal. We had crab dip in a bread bowl and we are actually coming back here again tomorrow night to have it again. They also have Guinness on tap, which is the best. There are so many televisions all around showing all of the different games and some TV shows. Everyone here seems very friendly. Its a great, down-to-earth, easy going, clean and nice place. The place looks a little bit worn down and the lights flickered at times. Not kid friendly. There are signs on the way in warning to be over the age of 21 and I can totally see why. We look forward to visiting again.

This place is our weekday go to place after a long day at work... Always good service and fair prices... One of the few bars around open in the morning if you work the 3rd shift... Theyll make you feel welcomed and normally quick service (daytimes at least. I havent been in the late afternoon or night) the only reason i dont give a 5 star is the simple fact they go thru servers and bar staff quite regularly... Part timers / not the right fit etc.... Never know who will be there tomorrow....

Is there a good place to go in this area anymore?? This was our worse mistake, friend told us to try, our server was rude and the food was absolutely horrible, Drinks were watered down, management needs to find better help, if they want it to run smoother. I personally don’t recommend this place!

My daughter ordered 1/2 bushel of crabs for Fathers Day and was told they would be ready at 3 PM. When they got there, the crabs were not ready and she waited an hour. When they brought them home, the crabs were mushy and contained lots of water, which made us believe they were re-steamed. She called the establishment and was told there was nothing they could do as they did not have any crabs to replace them. We threw 2 dozen out. Well I called 3 times this week and was promised to get a call back from the manager or owner. Never happened. I usually purchase my beer there as well, but all of that will cease and I will no longer buy anything from them. I guess at least the flies and larvae enjoyed them.

Very nice . Good food. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and patronsl. 5 nice pool tables. Great outdoors area. Separate Venue, across parking lot for larger events. When I was there, on a Saturday night, 2PM- 2AM, 13 bands, Great Show.

I have lived close to breakaways for awhile and out of habit we always order from places like tonys pizza and Costello and we just got tired of the same old thing so we got food from here and after we picked up the food n got it back to our hotel it was still hot fresh and very good. We enjoyed it.

Great place! Huge menu and great specials, the patio was very accommodating for smokers. Nice felt on the 3 or 4 pool tables. The juke box ate 2$ but still had on a big variety of music, entertaining all sorts of peoples!

The only bar Ive known to serve breakfast. This place has great food and great drinks. The atmosphere is comfortable with a sports bar theme. Great service amd friendly bartenders.

Ordered a half bushel of crabs , was told it would be 3.5 to 4 dozen crabs. Got them home there was barely 2.5 dozen. Called the store and they spout some bs about the size of the crabs. As we attempted to eat some we had to throw them away because they were foul smelling, discolored, or taste bad. I actually encountered several that smelled of ammonia! A lot of them were also hollow! Wasted money! Will not buy again!!!

Great priced drinks. Dollar Jello shots! They have pool and a patio. What more could you want? Every other Friday they give you free sample shots and swag. I got a shot of Jim beam and a free long sleeve shirt. The staff was also super friendly.

Not only is this a restaurant, but it also has a venue separate from the main building and they are always putting on great events. The food is reasonably priced and they always seem to go the extra mile to satisfy every customer.

Ordered a bushel of crabs for Father’s Day. On the way to my car the bottom of their box they used to pack the crabs in caved and the entire bushel of crabs spilled out onto the parking lot. I went in to tell them and the gentleman in the liquor store said he’d get help. Heard a lady in the kitchen yell and they both came out and said they didn’t know what to do and were going to call the manager. I stood there for 10 minutes and the woman from the kitchen came out and said she didn’t know what to do and couldn’t get ahold of the manager and handed me 2 small boxes that weren’t assembled. The gentleman came back out and tried to put the boxes together but didn’t know how they worked so went back into the kitchen for some help. I had company so I couldn’t go home empty handed so put an old beach towel under the collapsed box and put all the crabs and claws back in the box, wrapped the towel around it and left. I left my name and phone number with the gentleman for the manager to get ahold of me and have not heard a word from anyone. The crabs were ok but would have been better if they were hot and not in pieces. Will change my review if and when I hear back from the manager.

Always have a great time. The staff are friendly and helpful. I was on crutches and wanted to take my beer with me out to smoke but couldnt carry it and she noticed what i wanted to do and offered to take it out for me. So yes i will always go here for my fun nights.

Ive never been on the bar side. I only visit to carryout liquor but the workers are always very nice and helpful.

Food is hit or miss , as are bartenders. I guess it just depends on whos working. Had an orange crush tonight that was got awful and our meal was even worse.

Went for food. Very slow service food just so so. The place is fairly clean and clean restrooms. Better food than fast food. They do have some nice soups.

Editing my rating on this because every single time I go to Breakaways the service is friendly and competent. Good food, great people. Regardless of when you stop in. This is absolutely my favorite place to stop and have a drink or to get food.

Walked in at 19:20. Its currently 20:20. Ive been looking at a food menu and got 2 drinks. Still not served by the waitress. To there defence theres is only 2 of them for the whole place. Can you say short staffed? On a Friday??? Update. Got served after calling the bar to ask if i could order Dominos. I order a pepperoni pizza. It came out cheese thin crust with the doe mushy (chewy) they cooked it on a pan and under the pizza was the remains of old pizza under it which tells me not only did they not add toppings, cook the pizza all the way threw. They didnt clean the pan they cleaned it on.

Always had a great experience here. This was my go to place. Until the other night when my sister ordered a drink that tasted nothing like what is was suppose to be and she sent it back immediately and the waitress switched it out for something better. Well when it came time to get the bill the waitress charged her for that drink she informed us she couldn’t take it off. So then the manager came over wouldn’t allow us time to explain she just said no we can’t take it off. So a friend we were with said just take it out of the extra cash I gave the waitress well apparently that’s not allowed either we were told. This drink was $1.83 and didn’t even have more then a sip taken out of it! The manager then informed me I couldn’t have my credit card back I insisted she gives it back and she banned us from the Bar. Her words exactly “ I can ban you for whatever I want, I can ban you for wearing red shoes if I want!” I asked for the owners number and was informed I couldn’t have it. I paid my bill and didn’t get rowdy but now I’m banned. This is ridiculous I feel discriminated against!

Tired of them closing the door to the liquor store 15 minuets till sometimes ! And they are just outright ignorant and judgey sometimes. Would not recommend to anyone.

Pretty cool place, stopped here for breakfast and had an omelette that was pretty tasty. Bar looked nice and they had a quite a few pool tables that looked of better quality, Would definitely stop by again.

Its a bar/liqour store so its great for whatever youre looking for. The food in the bar is great and well priced. Nice people who work here. I never spend my money at any other liqour stores.

We in here for an auction its a warehouse it serves beer.

Patrons are low-key racist and sexist- the women and minorities in our group were made to feel uncomfortable by multiple people. The first waitress to seat our group bitched us out. Despite that we were having a good time until a bouncer thought he smelled something and tried to make us leave without allowing us to tab our or go back inside to grab our things. We were a part of a large group that dropped nearly $1000 dollars that night. Clear they are doing so well as a business that they can treat their customers like garbage. Never going back.

Breakaways is definitely a good local bar. Pool table, jukebox, cheap drinks.Extremely Biker Friendly!Wednesdays is $5 burger days. Lots of other special days as well.If you dont already go here regularly, or need a new normal bar, there are other things to check out first.

Small local bar last night was my one and only visit though. Waitress was very attentive to me but at 730 at night already had loud drunks screaming at each other making it very difficult to enjoy my meal. The worst of this is all is I became violently ill after eating here. I may have to call off work because of this place when I didnt even have any sort of alcohol.

Nice place to play pool drink and socialize, cleannd friendly. Thursday night sci-fi sent pool 50 Cent 50 Cent beer free nachos and salsa on Thursday nights Pizza aint the greatest but its free. And popcorn machine help yourself. They dont have no DJ or bands so I feel like I could be little more but the only got one small bar.
