I held my wedding reception here about a month ago and I have not one complaint. The women who helped with the process and contract were very helpful and made it such an easy experience. The place itself is beautiful and was perfect for my 75 guests. Everyone loved the space and I had the time of my life. There is an older gentleman who stays during the event to make sure everything is okay, and he was absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend this space to anyone.

Post wedding update:Venue: The Haddon Fortnightly, Haddonfield, NJ. Will need to bring in your own caterer (see mine below).  Best for small wedding - no more than 100 guest if you want to dance in lower reception hall. Recommend a valet. Such a beautiful venue, in historical Haddonfield starting with large Greek columns out front (great photo op) to interior vestibule where we had  cocktail hour.  Large staircases with railings on either side, not air conditioned but doors to street kept open for air and for people to gather outside.   Vestibule has an old phone booth with curved bench, we used for guest to leave us a message on guest book.  Inside the lower level reception hall you will find beautiful wood floors, and five Greek columns in both sides of room.  Tea room behind reception hall is gorgeously decorated and is what we had it buffet set up.  There is a small bridal suite that can be accessed from street or through vestibule by going upstairs through a second reception hall and to back off building through a stage... Building was once a church and also a theater.  The bridal suite is the old changing rooms for actresses/actors.  People were great to work with, just need to be mindful it is a historic place but they will work with you on setting things up.  Was a very lovely setting! There has been a change of people who do facilities maintenance and business office and I cannot be any happier ...they are very thorough and accommodating and they understand special day

We had our wedding reception there. The venue is beautiful and simple and historic. The womens club that runs it is somewhat difficult to deal with. We dealt with three different members and none of them seemed to be on the same page. The woman who was coordinating the tables and set up with us did not seem to remember anything we had talked about when we met with her to discuss how we wanted the space set up. I sent her an email clearly spelling out how many tables we wanted and where we wanted them and she sent me several follow up questions that were already answered in the original email. She told us we could use one area but then later said we couldnt. The contract was for 5 hours and any additional hour for clean up, etc. would result in an additional charge. When we were eating dinner we were told that they were locking the doors at the fifth hour and we needed to be out, no exceptions. I had to leave my reception to go talk to another member. We got it straightened out but it was an unpleasant interaction that never should have occurred since we had a signed contract that clearly stated the terms of use. The caretaker, who sets up and is there the entire time, is an older man who apparently was very unpleasant. My caterer told me that shes never been yelled at so much in her life. Despite all of these difficulties, the space itself was great and it was the nicest venue we could find in the area that wasnt astronomically expensive. We absolutely loved the space and the way everything looked. The location is beautiful in haddonfield but there is no parking so your guests have to find street parking nearby.

We went to an event sponsored by our realtor. So not much comment on the building itself

Came here for a birthday party. Antiquated building with 2 intimate ballrooms on 2 different levels. You are able to bring in your own food and cater your own party. Nice old building in a quiet town. It could do with a few upgrades, but then it would probably lose its charm.
